No replies in a year? Well, I think for true cancelling you have to cover the entire ear, I find that muffs get a little warm but better than earplugs; for me anyhow. I cant wait to try out radio/bluetooth while cancelling outside noise. Helpful review Mark 👍

Hey Mark, thanks for the review but you really didn't get into how well the radio reception is on this head set. Football season is coming up fast and I'm looking to upgrade from my present radio headset( with wires ) while I'm inside the stadium.
This headset actually has the best AM & FM reception of all the one's I've owned so far. I like to listen to baseball on AM radio while mowing and these work great for that. Bluetooth works well too.
You need to buy 2-AA batteries for these. I've been using AA rechargeable batteries for my camera gear and they work well. I'm sure the would work well in these too.
I will run this by my son. He goes through so many headphones. Not sure if this is what he's after He is six foot three and always struggles to find headphones large enough and comfortable enough. Happy Fall Mark. 👋
WorkTunes Connect 90543 are pretty good too. The one shown here has an update before the end of the year in the hi fi speakers and call answering feature.
I assume it will connect to BT even when listening to a AM/FM radio station. If a call comes through your phone, does the radio station mute so that you can hear your phone ring through the headset? Also, I also assume there's no mic on the headset?
I listen to podcasts about 75% of the time and the radio the other 25%. I notice that the sound just mutes when a call comes in and you are correct, there's no mic on it. I own another brand headset that rings and has a mic. They're not nearly as comfortable as these Worktunes.
I own the exact same headset, but cannot find the Bluetooth pairing instructions anywhere, and it's time to mow. Hate to buy a new set just to get Bluetooth back.
I've been using these for a few years now and they have great sound and are very comfortable. This spring I couldn't get bluetooth to pair and couldn't find instructions or a video to help me. I finally discovered that you toggle to the bluetooth mode and then push and hold the other small round button until you hear it go into pairing mode. From there you pair your phone again. Let me know if that helps.
Glad to hear it. I was in the same boat as you a few weeks ago and full disclosure, my 16yr old son easily figured it out and showed me how to get them paired. 😅👍
In my experience the audio is way too quiet. I can hear everything fine when using a push mower or string trimmer, but starts to get difficult when using my br600 and then my zero turn drowns out most of the audio. I just stick with some noise canceling earbuds with ear protection headphones over top
My loudest item is a zero turn with a bagger and I normally can hear everything decently except for a few podcast that are produced quieter than normal. I also would like these to have the option to go a little louder.
This gets loud enough so I can hear all the podcasts on 3 different zero turns that I run, including one with a loud bagger. I can also tell when I'm getting phone calls on this through bluetooth.
@@MarkThomasBuilder I hear (pun intended) that these units are quite good. I decided to buy a 31dB unit with ratio and so on and look forward to trying them out. I hope I can store them easily...
I have been using this same headphones for 3 years and they are fantastic. Bluetooth music & FM radio is what I use the most while doing yard work.

It's just loud enough when I'm on a zero turn mower. I often run it all the way up.

The call answering feature would be great to have. I thought the speakers sounded great already, if they improve them, that would be amazing.

Yes, it's great to have that variety when out mowing for hours at at time.

Does this model have the stupid volume limiter? its the one thing i hate about mine, it doesnt get loud enough to be heard clearly over a mower

Good question, let's say you have an old mp3 player without Bluetooth, the cable allows you to still listen to it.
