The light looks awesome against the dark siding! Remember you still have recessed cans in the eaves and landscape lighting too! Plenty of light 💡
*Great advice... have fun shopping and spending the dollars. As it can be a lot cheaper if you buy in the lights yourself. Ok put in a pole and turn on the flashing lights and have Erik doing a pole dance... and YEP we all want to see Erik pole dancing 🙂nz*

Good to see you! How has the syrup business been treating you? We are hoping to be back at it after this build and finally a new shop/maple house on our current slab.
Look up RMR-86 and RMR-141. Some good youtube vids of it working. I'd recommend it. I have a west facing Anderson wood Window with Alumnum cladding. Installed in 1986 when the house was built. Where I live, the rain always beats on that window and the window frames started to rot behind the cladding with mold/black mold. I pulled the panes and sprayed them with the RMR product. It has kept the mold at bay for about 6 years. Just started to show up again. Keep in mind, the window went back in and has been subject to the same conditions as before. And, the window needs replaced. Just been putting it off given the cost of the individual panes (400-600/piece). In your case, being out of the weather, it should clear it up and never show up again. Just be sure to take precautions on ventilation when applying and allow time to let it air out afterward.
What a bummer about the windows! Did you check to see if the warranty covered it? I had thought Anderson was guaranteed for life?

I sure am glad you got the roof finished before any car wrecks. Did you say the General Contractors got in a wreck, or just the Siding crew?
I supposed this is not a good time to be spending money on Toys, but it looks like Nelsons Speed Shop has some serious Financial Problems and the Banks might be auctioning off Inventory.
I have more details it was our builders youngest brother and our builders uncles oldest son he helped install the roof. his name is bud please pray for him he is in coma brain bleeds.
I was there the other day no one around lots of inventory just sitting.
@@ruralridez6165 That is Terrible. People don't pay attention to their driving. Distracted driving and road rage. Some guy near Park City Utah was involved in some sort of a incident on the Highway. He pulled off the highway to talk to the other Diver and they shot him in the head. They think it was a White Jeep Gladiator. It happened two weeks ago. It takes a long time to round up all of the surveillance video and door ring camera footage. Now after two weeks of Investigations they are asking the Public for help.
Also a hit and Run with a Tesla Cuber truck. Hit a woman on a motorcycle broke her leg ect. The Public was notified and there has already been a Cyber Truck with a broken off mirror spotted parked at an apartment complex in the same area. Teslas have all kinds of cameras on them. So far I have seen one Tesla Truck and it pulled out in front of me and I had to hit my brakes.

@@ruralridez6165 My friends Aunt lives in Belding. Her Aunt told her and she told me. So then I searched on Google. Sounds like they were forced for a couple of days for the Bankers to check Inventories. The owners made an announcement that they will be open again Monday Business as usual. The Figures the Media mentioned was $1 Million owed, $3 Million owed and $15 Million owned. My friend thinks it's $1 Million past due, to one banker Some more owed to other Banks. Said Polaris wants the Inventory seized or frozen. Sounds like they have a "Floor Plan" with Polaris. After one Bank took them to court other banks took action. They have been accused of shuffling money from one account to another by writing checks to themselves. That's what Stamp Farms in Decatur MI was doing when Wells Fargo foreclosed on them for $70 Million.
My friend also says they have had two or three suspicious fires but always built new bigger buildings. I don't see burning down your business as being profitable. Normally you loose more than Insurance pays in a settlement.
You guys are doing great. You're going to have a mansion. I bet you can find Amish to side your house. Looking forward to your next video.
Oddly enough, the Amish won't travel this far to install, nor install board and batten metal siding (anything other than barn siding). We poked around a bit after hearing that they might not be able to come back . . .
@@This1LifeWeLive What a bummer. I would probably call some siding companies. They probably can give you some small contractor contacts., pobably Big L or Carter even, or Google search some and get quotes.
@@robertkent2466 did that too. Everyone is booked. Luckily last week our builders came back (minus a few), but enough to finish the siding at least ❤

I am feeling much better. Kidney stone is finally gone.
It was a tough spring for sure. he had 2 rounds of surgery and finally everything is good and he's better than ever. he's thinking his back pain for the last year was a growing stone that finally dislodged and then got stuck again . ..
Wow thats crazy. Anna and her boyfriend got in a car accident yesterday and blew the airbags. Luckily they made it from Comstock home and only had to stop 3 times to add water with a leaking radiator. $900 for a tow truck was ridiculous. Hopefully your builder is ok. It will be a while to bounce back from that.
Crashes are on the rise right now . . . that same day we heard about the builder crew, one of Erik's co-workers was smashed into (his fault, he didn't see the stop sign) and the car was flipped a hundred feet or so into a field. Only a few scratches from that but car totaled . . .

I was hoping to maybe get one out today but I got my files together a bit late so it's looking like it will be tomorrow! Tomorrow is the FINAL decision on whether or not we can move forward with our progress (inspections happen) and we begin garage drywall while we wait and tackle a 22ft tall wall, lol!
