A short video showing Jomtien Pattaya Beach in the evening. I have lived in Jomtien for 5 years and often like to sit on the beach and watch the sunset. Many expats prefer living in Jomtien rather than living in Pattaya as it is more laid back and a lot quieter. Situated on the East coast of the Gulf of Thailand, approximately 155 km from the vibrant city of Bangkok, Jomtien offers a perfect escape from the urban hustle.

Aaahhh - thanks for that. I lived in Jomtien for 3 years from 2005, then spent winters in my condo by the beach which I sold in 2021. I had a good reason for selling but I do miss my time there.

Thanks, Phil. Normally yes, but we have had some hot nights recently resulting with me using my aircon for the first time in 4 years. Normally I have a constant supply of fresh air as I live high up, but that breeze has been warm instead or cooler this past week. 😎
