The irony is Rachel was actually the most likable member of the Wilsons, they are all absolutely terrible. I don't mean "terrible but still loveable" like the Wattersons, they are the absolute worst. Yet Rachel, the one character to have redeeming quality by drawing our sympathy when her friends stood her up and thanked Darwin for helping her, was the one axed.
Maybe that was the point, they didn't want any of the Wilsons be likable.
Well, I don't think the point is Rachel not been "likable", is because they got nothing interesting for her to do. That's always seems to be the problem for a redeeming character in the show. Once they complete their character arc, they don't have much left for the show to gave their any development.

Given how self-aware the show is and makes points in later seasons to establish that the world is literally set within a TV show, there's a good opportunity for her to come back and take revenge on the show or staff. Especially with a concept as creative as the Void which we're still expecting to see again. Maybe she could usurp Rob as the final villain or get the show cancelled. I'm at least expecting something REALLY meta in the finale.
Or better yet: team up with Rob.
But yes, I get the point of her being the final boss but then again, It would be interesting to see how she will upstage Rob when Rob LITERALLY killed Gumball's family and ruined the entire life of Gumball single handedly (albeit with the power of the remote)

@@MicroBihon Rob's plans are aimed against Gumball specifically - he's been trying to remove Gumball from the show or get him replaced as the central character. A villainous Rachel could one-up him by trying to get the show cancelled (and succeed in some way if it's the final episode) because she's angry about not being in it any more, which threatens not just Gumball but everyone in Elmore. In effect, world domination vs world destruction. Don't know if the writers had the same idea but it'd be a really cool way to end the show whilst also looking back to its early days.

For a character from the earlier times of the show she's probably one of the best designed too so it's really sad they didn't keep her

She was sent to the void. She noticed Rob amd the others and tried to get their attention but they couldn't hear her. She chased after them but was too slow and just missed grabbing onto Janice and forced to watch as the gang escaped through the closing rift. Through tears she cried as the rift closed and she became forgotten in stasis for all enternity.

They could’ve gone so many different ways with her since we knew so little about her but they just ended up wasting a character and a good design

I'd say she's most definitely in the Void, the whole point of it is to erase things from the "main existence", so when she went there, even her family completely forgot about her

@@r0sitas the entire concept of the Void is hella depressing by itself: for something (or someone) to end up there, it (or them) needs to be CONSIDERED A MISTAKE ACCORDING TO THE VERY UNIVERSE IT WAS CREATED (or born), and one doesn't even need to do anything wrong, the universe just decides it made an "oopsie" and then poof, gone. it's like a bad and unprepared family throwing a baby inside a closet and forgetting them there

exactly!!! plus another female character to relate to. Maybe she could have been the go-to "big sister," character for when Anais or the boys needed advice or something. Like literally, they could have played her in so many ways tbh. Also, I really liked her design too, for example, I loved how her hair color went from light to dark just like her mom's, but also that she had her dad's coloring.
