Bald Eagle Pursues Duck on Barnegat Bay / BL Osprey Cam Highlight

Watch as a young bald eagle flies in from the south and pursues a diving duck. You will also see a pair of mute swans and a great blue heron who are not phased by the presence of the eagle, but many gulls were quite upset. Just a hint of all the action seen during the winter months.

Wow at first I thought perhaps the duck was too smart for his predator but in the end eagle went right in the water to grab its meal! Quite impressive for a young raptor!
