Yayyyy Clock Tower! Many years ago I watched a compilation of all the endings and couldn’t sleep, terrified I’d hear the noise of scissors outside my room. Now, I just really appreciate Human Entertainment’s work and the rest of the Clock Tower series - but this first instalment will always be the best to me. I hope Jennifer will find new friends one day that don’t die on her. She already got a new mom, so it’s possible.

This game used to scare the living shit out of me as a kid. Until I grew up and realized that this is just “Phenomena: the Game - Featuring Jason’s mom, a Detective Conan suspect, and Tetsuo’s mutant form.”
I remember when I was 19 or 20 years old, I saw some videos about this game and it gave me nightmares. I was scared for a whole month cause I was scared of going to sleep thinking that the scissorman and Mary will come and kill me and my family. I tried to stay up all night making sure that didn’t happen but my mom told me it’s just a game. Now I’m not scared of this game anymore but it is still haunting that you mostly do is run and hide from danger cause Jennifer can’t fight.

The lack of music/OST is so eerie which in and itself is quite ingenious now that I think about it, it sets the mood.

I know running depletes her energy but almost no-one in a horror film has gotten away simply by powerwalking.
