51:27 I fucking love how that was put into this version, to give more connection and foreshadowing to the sequel. They just don't make games like this anymore.
@@lindamoua02 That is Dan Barrows. He becomes Scissorman in Clock Tower 2 (Released as Clock Tower in North America and Europe). The one chasing you with the massive scissors in this game is Bobby.
I just noticed Dan rising up after being lit on fire, that would've been helpful to know before playing Clock Tower 2 and the big "Edward" is "Dan" reveal really confuses you.
I looked at this game sooo many times at the rental place, growing up... but I just... never... played it...... I really missed out, but I thank you for sharing this~
19:03 I remember this part, but I didn't know that thing could move. Guess I didn't turn off the lights in that room when I played this for the first time.
The translation from the SNES is better because Ann PSX version mentions Mr. Burroughs if like you already new that and your an orphan who just got adopted. :P The SNES mentions him (Mr. Barrows) twice not by just Ann but also Miss Mary mentions him first before she even starts fetching him which starts the game.
I love the atmosphere in this game. Another awesome game on psx that I never heard about when it came out, I'm guessing it didn't do that well in sales?
It seems to draw more directly from Phenomena/Creepers, but this game's recurring theme totally sounds like the Suspiria theme. Looks like Argento had some fans at Human.
@@werecactus6 More like the movie Phenomena. Even the stories are very similar in a way, especially how the last 10 minutes or so of the movie is played out
If you're referring to what I think you are then it's the corpse in the closet in the taxidermy room In the SNES version it's possible to find it but it doesn't do anything while in the PSX version it wakes up and tries to kill you (which it will in one hit) and in order to kill it you need to turn off the lights, get the green dagger and then use the dagger to kill it It has no relevance to any of the girls it is an unnamed corpse
There are people that complains about Nemesis from RE 3..... I complain about Booby and all the boses from Demento (Haunting Ground), that's what I call persistency xD
Jason had a machete.
Freddy had a creepy claw hand.
Scissorman? He’s got scissors.
That’s it, that’s the end. That’s what ends.
This game is terrifying to this day

I love the creepy atmosphere this game has. Classic!
8:32 “I’m being strangled by the man in the mirror, AUUUUUUU!” (M. Jackson)
Same thing happened to me and i died.
I screamed like crazy when I saw the title .... Oh, those times are a delight for me; I still remember when I played with my brothers this game.
♥️

Ah to shed our massive charred husk and look better for it.
The first dislike came from scissorman

It doesn't happen in the SNES version, if that was the one you played.
shame, this game did not released outside Japan
This game was my worst nightmare next to the last of us cordyceps infection

“Its just so big i cant stand it”😂😂😂😂 im sorry its just the perv in me man ahhaha
Adopted in September...
I kind of feel they missed the mark there. The scary one is one month over.
*October shows up*
Oh, that's the one!
I never knew her face would react to certain events, I just thought it was like her thumbnail or something
Hello
Can somebody explains to me why there is no squeletton in the secret room in my game?
In 23:00 How did you do that?
54:17 "Next time, You are getting adopted"
49:50 I just threw up candy corn.
I wonder if this ever get a remake...... With that particular scene😅😁
I love the atmosphere in this game. Another awesome game on psx that I never heard about when it came out, I'm guessing it didn't do that well in sales?
It was originally for the SNES
It never came out in the west, also. Neither the SNES or PSX version.
Nice. Having trouble getting the mouse to work on Duckstation. Any help?
Cool! I love Adventure Games
Love this ending 💖
This game stil give me nightmare
Ann: *DROWNS*
Jennifer: *STARE*
I've played the hacked SFC version but had no idea there was a ps1 release.
Now I want to go back and watch the JonTron episode of this
I’m being strangled by man in the mirror
ARGH!
This game fucking scared me when i watch any videos, but if i play it, i'm gonna be so much stressed.
Finally you put on the dipper and play the game
And kids these days will say this game is too hard
they wouldn't even know that it's hard. they wouldn't even play the game because the graphics aren't "good".
@@pemuda7075 true 😂
@@pemuda7075 as had fartnite good graphics either
Yes, awesome Game, I need to get that for Christmas this Year. ;-)
I will get the SNES Version.
Inspired by the movie "Suspiria"?

why at 5:34 she said "guys" instead of "ladies"?
Probably mistranslation.
ITS THE SCISSORMAN.
jontron has ruined this game for me.
AreYou NormalBass *Gasp* Not the Scissorman!
Mmm scissorman
I didn't realise that you were going to go apeshit.
Adhitama Prasetya
MMM SCISSORMAN!
Clock towel? That doesn't seem very scary.
@32:00, what just happened? The teacher is in the room and after you went to the room again, the teacher disappeared?! Lol
👍
now clock tower the first fear has 9 endings in total.
Imagine if TellTale games made a remake of this and it's sequel.
Telltale is episodic games and choices never matter so it would be garbage
Who was the one you had to attack with the knife?...Was it one of the girls?
That's what I would like to know

@@vallarfaxgaming Thanks, I appreciate it
Going through it right now and loving it. I got Jennifer to put a parrot under a blanket, I didn't understand that Lol
I wish they'll have an official PS4 release for the download only.
I wonder what that parrot was saying. I couldn’t understand it.
It saids "I'll kill you"
In the SNES version it's "I'll get you" but i believe in the PSX version it's "I'll kill you"

Higgins a good idea
How do ypu kill the damm doll
Easy now, that guy will poke ya.
Snippy!

Doesn't look very different from the SNES version.
The textures are ever so slightly higher quality, and the fog is different. But other than that, it basically looks the same yea
It's a good longplay, but boy is it boring when you know what to do and aren't tripping over Bobby every 2 seconds.
Megaman x8 longplay plis
