Here are some refined tips for efficiency! Pay attention to the icons next to each building and prioritize tasks accordingly. For instance, if gathering sticks and making arrows share the same priority, your workers will only collect enough sticks for one batch of arrows before returning to gather more. To avoid this, set priorities so they gather a full amount required for crafting, ensuring bulk production. This approach becomes invaluable when mass-producing items like armor sets, preventing unnecessary back-and-forth trips. Additionally, seek out individuals with high agility and foraging skills. Assign them as Priority 1 for gathering and Priority 2 for moving items. Their swift gathering and efficient distribution will benefit the entire town, facilitating smooth workflow for all.
easier way to equip weapons on your dudes is just keep all your good weapons in the weapon rack, and command them to the weapon rack and they'll auto equip the best weapons available, same for food to feed them fast just command them to whatever storage is full of your food items
@@ahmadfarhan5072 Press the letter "o" and add them all to an army, then press "e" when hovering over your weapon rack, after that you can press "o" again to disband your army and they'll go back to work
@@ahmadfarhan5072when they are companions, press E to get a flag. Move the flag onto the weapon rack and the message displayed should change from ‘go to this position’ to ‘interact with warehouse’ and left click. Note, they will not take bows unless they do not have a melee weapon and there are no melee weapons on the rack.
That.....helped a ton, lol. Thanks! I kept trying to set amounts in storage containers so they would gather certain amounts. On a side note, trying to build the Toolsmith...mercy. If you don't have the NPC build it, you'll be there for hours.
TIP: Notice how only the first item that you eat counts down. So if for example you eat Meat stew (HP), Apple (+20% XP buff) and Berry jam (Stamina), if you keep on eating a meat stew before it runs out, the other two foods won't start counting down and thus you keep those buffs without having to find another apple or berry jam.
I think you have gotten a few things wrong. No need to set priority in a building, it does things from the top. So when you tell a forager to get 75 wood, it will get 75 wood (or not, since the area won't have that many sticks on the ground) and then move on to the next task, so if your using wood as it's gathered, it will never do any other task in the list. Instead do: Gather 10 wood, 10 berries, 10 mushroom, so you get a few of each type, then add gather larger quantities.. 10 wood 10 berries 10 mushroom 10 sage 75 wood (that is nonsense in a forager) 75 berries 75 sage Personally I've never used that large numbers until I was well into tier two and tier 2 buildings, still I will start with say gather 1 log and 10 wood, just so they gather a minim of a resource, instead of getting stuck gathering 75 woods and never getting any logs.

How to command them to pick weapon in weapon rack??or they will automatically go to weapon rack everytime we turn them to companion/guard?

I was 8 hours in before I realized that 1 is the highest priority and 9 the lowest :-D. So I'm glad for every tipp I can get.
Great video, I was lost with this but you cleared it up nicely.

Very helpful video, it taught me a few things to improve efficiency. Thanks for sharing.
Omg. . . I'm 25 hours in, I love the game, but I babysat the town and settlers pulling my hair out. This is going to help out so much!
Thanks for this! Instantly subed, I dont know why I didnt think to do these

You can actually use the signs as wild life detection for hunting spots and bandit presence..
Thank you for making this
Does your mining camp need to be near a resource? Like how far will you people travel to collect copper from a copper ore?
I place mine close by for convenience, they will travel, but if the camp is near one, it helps prevent them from wandering aimlessly

It's fair to say 75 is too high of a number. That's more of a personal preference to what you want on hand than being 'wrong'.
That’s a great idea, gonna implement this immediately
For the book you don't need to go close to the people.select map click on the blue dot he can read the book
Thanks for the tip
