Great video Kristi! I might add my 3 things as a new starter. 1. You can buy straps from road merchants. 2. Don't be scared of the winter, it does not last long this isn't Game of Thrones. 😁 3. Wolves are not big of a deal, don't overprepare.
Thanks Wombat! So glad that you like them. Yes, 14 is very useful. I also have another version of it that I use by my house where I specify the items I need to turn in for Quests and the workers will get them all ready to go for me. =)
OMFG.. Thank you Kristi, thers quite a few things inhere i had absolutely no clue about .. we'r running a 3-4 man coop atm and this will help, we are already quite far in , and had no clue LOL
This game needs a separate Cosmetics Non-Combat Kit for armors like in Enshrouded. A bit un-immerssive for npcs to be doing chores in full plate armor.
Once you get to Tier 2 and have armor pre-sets you can choose to have them wear change to different outfits when they are working instead of fighting. I chose not to, in part because, my base was right next to brigand headquarters and I didn't wanna wait for them to change back to armor.
Great video! Every other survival game needs to take a lesson from Bellwright's resource organization system (well a lot of lessons for a lot of things, but resources in particular!).
I did it. I went thru all 35 villagers and added a number in front of their names. I had to cut off parts of their last name to work due to limits. I made all my Archers (Reservist) but still added a number in front of the names, Example: (3-Annie Fairm). Then I broke the footmen into two groups and number them 2- and 3- Example: (1-Igor Mears and 2-Hellie Mears). So when its time for battle, I call up the reservist first, Then add another group and when you look at the list you can see who to pick for group 1 and 2 so there is no confusion. ( So all people in group 1, 2 or 3 will have that number in front of the name.) It works pretty good just have to click the middle mouse button to change groups. I have Group 1 footmen rush toward the back toward the enemy archers and Group 2 footmen attack their footmen, while the archers stand back and shoot.
Nice!! I've thought about doing something like that but just haven't taken the time to do it. I bet it's nice having it all organized and laid out to see easily.
Another tip that helped ME personally, was to turn voices off. Not only are the AI villager voices terrible (as the developer has acknowledged as they are placeholders for future voice actors), but the combat screams your character makes grated on my nerves. My game is much more enjoyable with voice volume at zero.
Lol! I could see that. I do like the screams when someone is offed though. It lets me know right away how we're doing and I can look around to see if there's a weak point I need to go help with. =)
I have a confusion, my guys been eating from the random columns, even the last ones. They don't really have from left to right, whenever I come back from an adventure, I see items vanished that are at bottom. Mind that I have all the uncooked and cooked ones in the food cellar. Do they choose the best food possible or eat anything? I don't get it
It's a little annoying b/c the food doesn't stay forever where we put it. As they eat up the whole stack at the beginning they won't replace those there again and so over time they get out of order again. I just keep moving good ones to the top every time that I go in there to eat.
Wonderful tips, but the game developers need to share this information. Relying on the community to do it is very unprofessional and (due to some bugs) unreliable.
They do provide information. But there are so many details in the game that people tend to miss some and ofc some things you just pick up as advantages from playing it enough. It's the same with every survival game I've ever played. Thanks for watching!
❓What are your favorite tips for Bellwright? Please share!
This was insanely helpful. Learned so much I had no clue about
Awesome! That's so nice to hear. Makes me want to make more of them! lol
Great video Kristi!

Those are great starter tips! Thanks for sharing. =) I hope you're enjoying the game!
@@GamingwithKristi I'm hooked 😀
@@ahmetylmaz8759 Lol! It is addictive isn't it? 😆
@@GamingwithKristi It is! It is the combination of my two fav. games. Valheim and Age of Empires II.
Great tips Kristi! Tip 14 is a great one going to use that one for sure!

Your videos have helped me automate and optimize so many things in my town. That rawhide jerkin tip is huge!
So glad it's helped! =)
I don't have the game yet, but this was still useful to get an idea of what is possible. Nice video!
Thanks so much. I do really enjoy Bellwright.

Awesome! Glad it is helpful. =) Good luck!
great video! the food tip is really usefull bc i was wondering how i can make my villagers eat fish stew first to be really productive! :)
Awesome! Remember that as things get eaten the order changes so you need to check back ocassionaly to put what you want first. =)

Or, you could just have separate farmers and guards/military 🤔
True, you could do that. As I get more ppl now I tend to have some be only workers and set to run away so I don't bother putting them into armor.
Very informative!! You saved me a lot of time. Thank you.
Awesome! Glad it was helpful. =)

You said it! It's awesome!
Thank you really. Some of these tips was absolutely useful

One more on the way to 10k 😊
Thanks for the Tips!
Awesome! Thanks so much. =)
Super helpful. Thanks!
Awesome! =D
Great tips, thanks!
You're welcome! Glad it was helpful.
Have you made a video about guards and how to level them up, what weapons they can use and stuff like that?
I very rarely ever use ppl as guards for my village and then it's typically only temporary. I prefer to keep everyone working.
Thanks Kristi. Good info.
You are so welcome!

1st thing I wish I knew before playing this is that it runs like absolute crap on the Steam Deck after a certain period of progression
Interesting. At what point does it change?
Holy fps!😂

@@GamingwithKristi I know. Thanks.
This was painful. Hard pass on any future vids LOL. We dont need to have stuff explained to us like we are toddlers.
I've actually gotten a huge amount of compliments on how I do these guides. If it's not for you then just scroll on by.
