What does the tape on the guitar bridge and nut do?
Probably mute unwanted noise or feedback, might be his alternative to a fret wrap
The guitar makes unwanted noises on those areas while recording, it's completely out of control!
So I use that tape!
Also, subscribe for more of them, I'll be doing a lot more, curently dropping 2 covers or more per week
What kind of camera? Do you switch the camera position and record 3 separate times?
I use my own Canon T7i and my drummers T6i, I record 2 guitar takes left and right side, each side I record 2 angles with both cameras.
I'm using 55mm lens so they're far away from me and each other, also I place them both on the same side but slight different angles each take.
Then I merge the camera audio with my guitar audio I recorded at the same time, I usually add the effects afterwards, like the whammy and chorus, so I don't overload my CPU.
I even play the clean parts with overdrive, so I don't overload it too much.
It's quite time consuming but worth the result

A Standard. KL typically doesn't stray from that tuning lol
Yep! A standard. They did Drop G for a while but switched to A standard when they did "A Different Shade of Blue"
