I turned 61 2 months ago and I was around when soul/disco/funk first hit the clubs and radio here in the UK in the mid/late 70s/early 80s. For me, this track shows there are good young artists out there today embracing the music of that period (particularly the early 80s) and putting their own spin on it. I love this tune, a real departure from so much of the rubbish that's been out over the last few years. And apart from being a damn good singer Anderson Paak is a hell of a drummer

Like many of you, I discovered Anderson .Paak after his BET Awards '16 performance. After finding his MALIBU album on Tidal, I kept coming back to "Am I Wrong" because it feels like a blend of '90s Jamiroquai and '00s OutKast.
I thought the exact same thing when I heard this for the first time. Definite Jamiroquai vibe to it
