This video could not of come at a better time. Im really at a crossroads for what I want to do at university. Medicine didnt work out for me as I do not have the grades for. But i still always have a desire to work in health and science. Could you possibly do a video on pros and cons of pharmacy; how you got into it, the day in a life etc, salaries etc. Thanks again man
Lets say you train in community could you switch later down the road to industry/hospital? do you have to retrain (like have another foundation year) or can you just apply for a job? :)
(I am litterly panicking and I need HELP) Hi, I am litterly starting college in 7th september and I cannot do A-level because i failed my maths and English language not English literature(I got 5 in English literature) so the college told me I should do 1 year GCSE to improve my english and maths then I should do BTEC level 3 which equivalent to 3A-level. With that this can I be in pharmacy. Thank you (so I will be doing college for 3 years)
Some Unis accepts BTECs Biomed but you need chemistry A level aswell, alternatively continue on to do btecs ( i highly suggest) and aim for D*'S which are equivalent to A* UCAS worth and you can do a foundation year for Pharmacy through it

For salaries and a day in my life - check out my other videos 😊 for pros and cons - I will hopefully make a video soon
It’s interesting to see how my colleagues in other parts of the world see the pharmacy profession.
Great video, thank you. Do you know if there are any conversion courses in the pipeline for biomedical science graduates?
Currently not that I know of unfortunately!

You can just apply for the job! That's what I did, my training year was in community and once I qualified I started a job in hospital!
