Please share why you chose pharmacy vs. medical school or a question that helped you through this decision process.

For me, it had to do with time. Pharmacy is a 2nd career and I didnt want to get out of med school+residency in my mid-to-late 30s. So, pharmacy seemed like a respectable alternative. Once I became more involved, I learned just how awesome the pharmacy profession is in its own right. Definitely made the right choice!

Thank you so much!! your video was really helpful, it helped me clear my doubts, and helped me make the right decision. I applied to the pre-pharmacy program last month.
Can you make a video on how pharmacists can be entrepreneurs??

Nice video. 🌸 i’m finishing up my prerequisites now and trying to to decide if I’m going to apply to pharmd next year or if I should transfer to the bs of Pharmacy first. The university offer both. I know some pharmacists who completed their pre-Reqs and went straight into the Pharm.D. without a degree but I want my application to be competitive. At the same time I don’t want to stretch out undergrad if I don’t have to lol

Thank you for watching! Yes, the decision for pre-requisites versus a degree are personal and dependent on your end goal for education.

I am applying to pharmacy school because it seems like a flexible degree and I am really interested in becoming a medication expert.

Thank you for this great video! It helped a lot.
Im deciding between pharmD and med and I know I will like both career paths. But my priority comes to job flexibility. My parents live in a different country and I want to be able to go back quite often and if i want to stay for longer (even without pay but still keeping my job in Canada) but Im not sure which path would allow that. Is being a doctor and having your own clinic more flexible in that sense or being a pharmacist?

As a B.Pharm holder,is going for Pharm D or M Pharm equivalent in relevance to going for post graduate fellowship?
