Initially I thought you used Chloe's florals stamps and cutting dies , she has beautiful collections that creates flowers like yours . Had no clue Phil Martin had them too , must go and check on them . Splendid card , I love it , thank you for sharing , very inspiring .
Your title caught my eye because I couldn't imagine what scratching up vellum meant! Your flowers are gorgeous! I'm subscribing and looking forward to your other videos!
Scratching on vellum 😄 it is actually a whole art per se . It's called parchment and the scratching is called Pergamano and the tools are either stylus pens in various sizes or punching tools for perforating the vellum and create some sort of filigree . You can use a stencils to create beautiful backgrounds . Place the stencil over your vellum paper , secure it with some tape to avoid to shift aside , take a fine point stylus pen and begin to , gentle , follow the pattern of your stencil. When done , either leave it as it is or flip it on the other side or even on the same side and apply colours . Alcohol markers are great for the task because they dry faster , vellum been coated with wax would take some time for any other paint to dry . After apply the colour , that won't be even and opaque , you can let it as it is for a marbled /stained effect or cover with a second coat . Give it a try , its fun and very satisfying .
I have pages and pages of leftover velum from making wedding invitations and I was at a loss thinking of uses for them. This is a winner! I have subscribed to your channel and look forward to seeing more wonderful videos!

Hi..beautiful ideas..is vellum the same as parchment paper? Thanks for a lovely idea for cards.❤
I think vellum is Thicker, you could try with parchment, it’s not the same but might work , let me know if it does
Is this the same as Pergamano? So beautiful!
I’m not sure what Pergamano is , please enlighten me, Thank you for your lovely comment
It is parchment craft. There are many techniques. I bought a kit in the 80’s, it came with tools and Vellum. You Tube has videos.
@susanzapletal5299 oh ok I’ll check it out
These are beautiful. A tip for your videos is don't show all the flowers you color and scratch; just show a few, as it gets boring.
Thanks for the tip!
