Something I didn't mention in the video, what I used to adhere the vellum. the cardboard idea, is absolutely fantastic. I don't have a glass mat or anything like that so the cardboard is something I'm going to be using today! Also love the cards
Wow! How cool is this. Love all the backgrounds, but my fave is the teal one and the striped one. Thank you for sharing all of those great tips along the way. I like your quote "... saves you precious time that can be spent on crafting which is way better than cleaning". You got that right! : )
Such a very pretty effect. The cards turned out just beautiful with the butterflies. I especially like how you pounced the pad as it was drying for that special effect. Thanks for the inspiration.
Stunning results!! It looked like you had a lot of fun doing your backgrounds (and your cards turned out beautifully...) - you encouraged me to go and try my hand with the alcohol inks that I have. Thanks so much for sharing.
I love these cards and the technique on the vellum. I just, finally, got some alcohol inks and can’t wait to make some cards now. Thank you so much for sharing your helpful hints.🙂
Wow, wow, wow! Can't wait to try this! So did you really like the pearlescent vellum? It was hard to tell! LOL! I have some - can't wait. I've also done alcohol inks on acetate which is beautiful too!
Gerry's Craft Room Gerry, I’m wondering what affect, would it have, do you think, if you added rubbing alcohol or blending solution after blending in the colours? Would it wreck it? Could the vellum stand up to it?
I have never worked with alcohol inks before but after this video I will certainly give them a try. Loved all your cards. Thanks for the time you take and for sharing your crafts with us. 😃
These are all gorgeous. I received some old pearlescent vellum that is a little water damaged on one edge. I’m going to cut it up and give it a go. TFS

I am definitely doing this. Yes, yupo paper is very expensive and for some reason I have lots of vellum (maybe even some pearlescent😉). I love your card designs.
I love the ideas of alcohol ink on vellum. I have a lot of vellum and alcohol ink I can use, but have not used in a long time. Thanks for sharing. The problem I've had was trying to attach the vellum to the cardstock without having the glue to show through. I will try this though.
Thank you for the video.🙂 Great ideas! I love the pearlescent velleum, had never heard of it. I use a sheet of teflon taped to my plastic table protector for easy clean up. Baby wipes can be torn or cut and used in collage or a few can be fused to make thicker pages then be turned into soft books (especially for toddlers).

Gerry, these are fabulous--so beautiful! I'm ordering some alcohol inks right now! What adhesive did you use to attach the vellum to the card bases? Does the ink keep you from being able to see the adhesive through the vellum?
Judy Mason thanks😊💕I used regular double sided sticky tape, the added alcohol ink makes that it doesn’t shine through the vellum, should have told that in the video😱😉💕
