Dear Nina, im 40 and i've been in the very sad place when i started aging 2 years ago and those two years were very sad and empty, i've lost interest in make up, going out, because of the aging i felt ashamed. But seeing your videos really really and seriously changed my life and I'm excited about make up and beauty all over again, because your hacks are mind blowing and they really work. Thank you so much, you are so beautiful in every way. ❤
I was feeling like that when I hit 40 now 45 and I feel for me now to just embrace what I have and not to be ashamed of my age and be proud that I have lived through all my experiences and gained wisdom.. those 11 lines are full of intelligence 😂.. you're 🔥at any age
You're so beautiful without any product but you do look great with makeup. I've been following you for ages I accidentally unsubbed and had to find you again but over the years, your videos have been fantastic. Your tips and tricks really help me, some other channels make you feel like you have to be a pro to get it right and it can be frustrating. Thank you, I wish you and your channel success
I really like your lip techniques/looks. They’re always minimal, natural and very pretty. I don’t think I see anyone else on TH-cam doing anything like it.
Thank you. I am in my sixties and I appreciate your overall comments. So glad I found your channel! You have already helped me with practical hints to cover and lift my face to look my best!❤
Oooo, cant wait to try blush on the apples of my cheeks. My features are very sharp and harsh. Cant wait to change my placement a little. Thank you for the tip Nina. 🙌🏻. Keep them coming!
I’m 61 and get more compliments on my makeup since I have been following you.🤩 I have learned to go in with a plan and less is more! I too love tubing mascara. My face is Tartlette XL.
Hello Nina! I am 61 and I don't like wearing much make-up (I keep it simple) this has helped me so much. I really like the small amount of glimmer in the middle of the eye lid; definitely will be trying that one. Thank you for the helpful tips!!!
Nina, I LOVE this video! I've been wondering about the Huda Ube Birthday Cake powder!! It looks amazingly beautiful on you, and I think the way you applied it is the trick! I'm 71, and I tried these tricks just now, and wow, what a lovely look! Thank you for this great tutorial! You are so good at this!
I thank you for the very educational videos in make up application. I love how you add tips to different face shapes throughout your steps of make up application because that really helps ❤
Thank you Nina love your tricks. I do have hallows under my eyes (61 yrs old) and feel setting powder is too heavy. Any tricks for that or perhaps setting spray?
I never thought I’d find myself so interested in learning makeup! The way you explained it was superb-so clear and easy to follow. You made it effortless to understand why certain products should or shouldn’t be applied to specific areas. Truly impressive!
Peach color corrector for lighter complexions (I feel as a great starter point & if wanting more in example then an orange color corrector in medium coverage: There’s NYX or even Elf is pretty good to start with: Charlotte Tilbury has a medium Peach color corrector powder too). - Apply & leave it on for awhile, and/or blend either with a beauty sponge or brush, before concealer. Helps so much! ❤
I tried this and followed it almost 100% and my makeup turned out flawless! I'm 33 and have noticed a few small signs of aging so I wanted to be more effective with my makeup. Thank you so much, your channel has upped my makeup game!
It’s all good until it’s time for the blush!!!! Nina I have never been able to contour and been doing it really nicely in the past two days with your videos as reference while am doing it! Thank you so much! So much stuff out there but your videos are actually a game changer!
Alternative descriptors for a gaunt face could be “angular’ or ‘pinched’. Also a tapered face with lots of angles. Great video! Im really loving it. I m sharing it with my mom who, like me, likes the barely there make up, but still wants to look more youthful and put together. Thank you.
Thank you Nina !!❤❤ I would love to be one of your volunteers for a makeup tutorial! Tho I think Dubai might be a bit far from NJ 😟🤣🙋♀️ Thank you for ur tips!! 💕🎊
My favorite under eye patches are the cosrx snail ones they are great and big with an added tiny one so your getting more for the money and its a jar not a single sacet . I dont care for any of the other snail products but the eye masks are great.
My bags and hyperpigmentation on my upper cheek area are my problem areas. I'll definitely check out the patches and the powder once she comes out with a mini.
Awesome makeup i will sure try it, i have a question i am getting grey hair in my eyebrows can you recommend any tint which can stay for some time and look natural, my skin tone and brows are like you...
Skyn Iceland makes a superior patch for under the eye. I’m buy them online versus Ulta. I don’t know if you can get them there anymore but they’re very good. I’m in my 50s. I noticed if I use a sleeping glow pillow, it’s omnia it takes the puffiness way down because I think that comes from sleeping on your face. I’m not sure but I’m now 50 and I noticed a huge difference.
I usually love your videos 😊 but this one - you do not need to tell us 20 times for our faces it might be different. You are obviously giving us something we can try. You said multiple times pick a concealer very very very close to your foundation …. So I assumed a fraction of one level up 😊 but really 1-2. All of that to say, I very much appreciate your content. What is your thought about a natural flushed look for a flatter rounder face shape? Thank you
Your honestly so right the more make up I use I feel I def ages . Work every day I’m going to use your tips still want to look like me not whole new woman - and yes the darker lip it just feels like trying to hard
Hi! I have a super textured face from past acne scars and large pours. I still suffer from a very oily complexion. I'm 42, and I would love to see you do my makeup and have it last through an 8 hr workday.
You are genius. I always enjoy watching your videos. I am 65, can you make a video on a lady this age? I have a round face too, so I pick up bits of your advice. But I am not really using a full make...only on special occasion. An eye make up and a lipstick will do me everyday. The setting powder you showed, it is pronounced u-be not ub...
As a MUA and portrait artist, the NARS contour color is waaaaaay too rusty, even for beautiful olive-y skin like yours. I’ve found that using a cool-toned shade in the same depth is far more convincing and won’t read as orange makeup, but as a natural shadow. As any artist understands, cool colors are what we see in shadows throughout nature and when we see objects that are receding, whereas warmer tones are what we see in sunnier points and things that are brought forward. Keep in mind, the contrasting tones MUST be relative to one another. (NOTE: Learning color theory can be tremendously helpful if you really want to get into the weeds.) The same principles apply to human skin. For contouring warm or olive skin tones, you can lean more toward blue/green shadows and cool tones lean towards blue/violet. Try it and you’ll see the difference. I promise!!! 🙏
I applied Boiron Homeopathic arnica cream under my eyes. Helps with puffiness and discolouration from allergies 😅 I think it was a tip from Dr. Shreene Idris.

I wish you could do my make up for me! I thoroughly enjoy your videos Nina! I’ve learned so much from you! Thank you! ❤
Love learning about using Concealers strategically!
I just found you and love your videos.
I would love to see a high contrast, matte, makeup look. 🖤 very classy and matte, sculpted features.
The matte look does nothing for anybody over twenty one & the World woke up to that. Over Thirties especially won't touch that now
& with good reason.
@Flowergirl0777 I 10000% disagree 😊
They probably just don’t look good on you.
Love your videos! Thanks so much for sharing your talents with us
Always the best hints ever!!!
Brilliant ! Thank You Nina ❤

Hi, is this eye make up work on hooded eyes, too?
What is the best product to cover larger pores?
Can you recommend a conclear for oily skin that’s not heavy
What products for very dry skin - eye cream and eye concealer
It really did appear as you aged backwards when you put the ube powder and blush on. Magic!
Could you post a video with drugstore dupes?
