As I'm listening, I keep asking myself if I have changed. And the answer is a resounding YES. Completely. My thoughts are not the same thoughts. My actions are not the same. My love for others has increased. My sin has decreased. My heart has been transplanted. My mind has been transformed. The way I walk the way I talk the way I stand the way I sit the way I rest and the way I awake in the morning has all changed. And the change continues to increase. Praise be to God ❤

And the answer still remains the same. He increases while we decrease (Gods will/free will). While we have breath in these lungs, His grace is sufficient, and so we die daily and live for the Christ Whom is alive in us. Glory be Him, the Father and Spirit.

Many are CALLED and FEW are CHOSEN.
      MANY will deny Jesus.
Even those who say they DIDNT.
You can deny by more than what you say.
You can say you don't but the way you live says you did and do deny Him.
      Disciples represent Christ.

God changed me of my old ways 8 years ago. I am so glad and thankful he did❤ I have so many stories and I remember all the dreams I have. I seen men from the Bible from what looked like days of Moses. My dreams are so clear, and they were right there. And then Jesus appears saving my daughter from the evil government. I better stop here. Thank you and thank you Lord for another day Amen 🙏 ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

God's word does teach that He elects certain people to show His grace upon. This doesn't stop our need to proclaim the gospel to the lost. He has chosen preaching as the method by which the lost will hear the truth.
We don't know who the elect are, so we proclaim the gospel to everyone and the ones whom God has chosen will accept the gospel because God has willed it to be so. He told us to proclaim...not to keep the truth to ourselves.
Also, if a person is born again, it is only because God drew him or her...not because we decided to chose God. For we are born enemies against God. It is our will to continue to be enemies until God changes us. Jesus is the author and the finisher of our faith. He keeps us from falling. We do not keep ourselves from falling. However, it is also preordained that as children of God that we are to be a people of obedience to God. We are to have a life of good works. These works are NOT to be saved, but rather because we are saved.
What we could not do as a lost person, we are enabled to do after salvation.

How can I test myself if I can't trust myself? To what do I compare myself that reveals that I am being sanctified vs fooling myself because i so desperately want to believe i am being sanctified? I thought I was saved for DECADES but wasn't. No change. "Came back to Christ" when my daughter was born and TRULY BELIEVED I was pursuing Christ. I read scripture everyday for at least 2 hours, but still no change. I've always believed Christ has His hands on me, but no changes. I was even rejected by Christians for "knowing the Bible" more than they did. Eventually, I "backslid" and had an adulterous affair for 8 years. I am even afraid to go to church. Was I ever a true Christian? Am I a true Christian? How can I test myself if I've already deceived myself so many times?

Sad, just a reminder, our sins are not greater than God, repentance starts with recognizing the sin and hating it, redemption starts when we realize Christ is our qualification not our efforts most importantly our God is God of the living and there always will be hope for the living, we all fall with the help of the holy spirit of God we get up again and again and again till the second coming of our savior, trust Christ

I can say that I have struggled with that, but God taught me to stop looking at myself and the bad Ive done, stop looking inward and look upward. Come back to Jesus and trust HIM and HIS cleansing blood and forgiveness. Isaiah 53 says that God saw the travail of HIS soul and He (GOD) was satisfied. He never said anything about us, but Jesus satisfied Gods wrath. Stop looking at your shortcomings and remember what Jesus HAS ALREADY DONE FOR YOU!

No you can't now or ever trust yourself. Put your hope in God put your trust in Jesus. Trust in His name and you will be saved. In his character on his works His righteousness. Everything He is and has done. Trusting yourself is putting confidence in the flesh. Your own strength of character will your own moral uprightness and endurance. It will all fail its you fighting you when done in the flesh, the old man. How can you win? You need outside help you need a savior you need one who is greater than you greater than all you need the Lord Jesus to make you stand for God to make you stand. This is Jesus not you, you will fail.

Yes Keep fighting, and Read the WORD, but you need to find a church to support you and hold you accountable. You shouldn’t be hanging around nonbelievers because they are not going to support you conforming to the image of Christ. There ARE uncompromising churches who lovingly believe the truth of the WORD and seek to obey its precepts. NOT legalism, but obedience.

When I ask myself the question, "Have I been changed?" the answer is... I think so, but certainly not as much as I could have been at this stage of life had fear not plagued me even to this day. I used to be transgender, and I thank God im not anymore... but I still struggle with pornography that is associated with that lifestyle. So I don't know. It terrifies me that i may not have been changed. Of course I believe in Jesus, but I have this terrible habit (and I hardly realize it in the moment) to TRY to do the right thing. Like, in my own power I try. I cannot distinguish the difference of Christ doing the work and me doing the work? Have I been changed? Maybe not after writing this. I would like to, and if I don't want to be changed, I want to want to be changed. Perhaps i should speak to a pastor about this... and then a part of me says I'm being too hard on myself. I don't know how or what to think about this

Joseph was obedient to God. That's a LEAP to assume Joseph forgave them. He could have left vengeance to God and NOT to himself.
He wouldn't Murder his brothers. Joseph would obey the Law.
He has shown his obedience up to this point.
Like God did with and through Jesus. Joseph may have desired restoration and NOT retribution.

Your attitude towards sin that has changed is a good start. Having fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom! Our lack of love is possibly a lack of forgiveness. When Yeshua forgave the woman that poured oil upon His feet Luke 7:36-50. vs 47: "For this reason I say to you, her sins, which are many, have been forgiven, for she loved much; but he who is forgiven little, loves little." We know that He loved us first, otherwise we would not know love, but understanding what he did for you brother, out of super natural, spiritual Love, to take your place and removed all sin from you so you could have everlasting life is more than our flesh understands. Colossians 1:13 says He delivered us from darkness... This is comprehended by the Spirit. Now by grace you have been granted forgiveness and it is a continual process, because, He who endures to the end shall be saved, says Matthew 10:22. Now that He has forgiven you, now you must forgive others- Matthew 6:14&15. We do wage war within our members, this is between the flesh and the Spirit. So of course what ever you feed the most - wins. I encourage you, read His Word, because it is alive and active-Hebrews 4:12. His Word will speak to you and will feed your Spirit. Let go of idle things that do not encourage you or build you up. Even Google will give you scriptures if you don't know where to start. Pray always, seek Him and He will let you find Him. You will find the more you listen to the Holy Spirit and obey His Word, many things will change. We must renew the Spirit of your mind, because you are a new creature in Messiah. Be transformed into the image of our Savior. Faith does come by hearing. You are listening to a good preacher. I pray this encourages you and do not doubt, but BELIEVE!

I believe we don't hear God speaking audibly because we have his written word and pastors like this man to lead us to Him. I also believe God does not speak audibly because he wants us to be who we really are and act and behave the way we really are because it's what we choose. What better way is there that allows us to be us than for God to be silent and let us act unhindered. While the cat's away, the mice will play. Or, will they?

I have two daughters who have both had two concussions each, one very severe. They both have lasting effects that I would never consider sinful because they genuinely cannot help them. It would be sinful, however, if they blamed their lack of desire to work, their temper, irresponsibility, poor treatment of others, or any other preventable bad behavior, on their brain injuries.
Dr. Baucham desires what God desires - that we be truly changed by the Gospel and our fruit be evident.
