@@Anekopressat the 15-minute mark this Bible version gets it totally wrong and switches up the word doctrine with tolerance. That's a dishonest and blasphemous error. Whoever is responsible for changing that needs to know. I understand most of the time the original writers of these books used the King James Bible.. and then somebody else there's a bunch of money to whoever owned the books, and then they put ever whoever they sold out to (whichever publishing company) because all of them almost are taught to reject the King James Bible. Most of the Bible colleges these days have been infiltrated with people that hate the King James Bible. It's incredibly sad.. the co-founder of the nasv has a good testimony. God corrected him and he repented.. his name is Frank Logsdon. These new Bibles lack power.. they like depth.. and they lack life. The new perversions change words, and when you change words it breaks cross-references and changes doctrine.. and in some instances the whole context of the passage changes. In second Corinthians the King James Bible warns about people corrupting the word of god, and the new perversions change it to peddling the word of God for money. The fact is there's nothing in the context of the King James Bible to point to it being about money. It changes the whole context. This book seems to use more than one version and a lot of people do that so they can pick whichever version lines up best to what they're talking about. That's dangerous to put yourself as the final authority and not the word of God.. very dangerous. When you mess with God's word, God messes with your mind.. you lose the power of God.. you lose depth, and you lose sharpness.
To call sin what it is - SIN - & then to humbly seek Almighty's strength to kill it every time the old nature rises up and wins a round--this is kind of a "lost" message within the Church and churches, or perhaps my ears have grown deaf. I have let some "little" sins live lately, and those seem to be growing, so I hear and am reminded as I listen to these words from this book that those sins are growing because I am feeding them crumbs from my table of life. Jesus, I confess. Help me by your Holy Spirit. I do not want to feed sin in my life any longer. Amen❤
I had left the cell phone on fell asleep and just happened to wake up to the part where I had a question about. What's most amazing is that it has happened twice in two nights!!!
God is so good. I go to sleep often listening to the Bible and sometimes this channel as well. God has spoken to me many times through the scriptures and these wonderful Christian books as I wake up before work.
I remember back in 2021 I was having an especially bad time with loneliness and chronic depression. I had my audio Bible on in the Psalms, cried for a bit, and fell asleep. When I woke up I was still really sad, so I cried more, and after a few seconds I heard Psalm 126 playing. “Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.” That’s exactly what I needed to hear in that moment. God is always good.
I fell asleep and woke up to this at 3:14 AM. I will definitely save and subscribe. God is alive and working in our lives and in the world around us. He is preparing everything and will send Jesus soon. Praise God Almighty now and forever.
I’ve just done the same thing, although I won’t be saving and subscribing. All sounds a bit judgemental and evangelical. It would have been nicer to wake up to hear about Jesus, the gospels or God’s grace. Not cherry picked snippets from the Old Testament
Righteousness is certainly important, but the New Testament, especially the teachings of Jesus, places a profound importance on grace. Jesus himself, was known more for love, mercy and compassion than he was for judgement. It’s a shame this video - in my view - didn’t reflect that.
@@dominicc3107 Jesus when he forgave his next words to those he forgave was "go and sin no more". As a born again believer sin has lost its power over You. And the Holy Spirit will convict believers of sin without condemnation but with the intention to lead us to repentance. The righteousness that has been imparted to us by Christ is to lived out in our daily life by denying the flesh, crucifying the flesh, resisting the devil etc. live out the righteousness given to you through the Holy Spirit dwelling in you
I couldn't sleep and decided to listen to my Pastors last Sunday morning message. It worked and when I awoke later in the night "The Overcoming Life" by Dwight L. Moody was playing and WHAT A BLESSING! I had no idea it was a free audiobook on TH-cam. What an awesome resources for anyone who wants to walk with Jesus or come to know him. At the same time I also discovered other audiobooks by Moody. Happy Day!
Love this! Just remember it’s not something we join or that we do by “accepting Christ” but it is something God has to do from above and give us life from above❤️ - John 3-you must be born again. I was a false professor in Christ until I was 40 years old when he really saved me. All those years I professed Christ but my life was ungodly. I was spiritually did and was a false convert until His regenerating work in my heart! Praise be to God who is the Savior and King and only Sovereign! It’s all the work of Gods grace & mercy❤️
What a blessing to hear your testimony, Pamela. Sad that it took 40 years, but wonderful that the Lord did not let you go on being a false professor, but instead opened your eyes to see Jesus as Savior and Lord.
Such a blessing is your words. I'm 71 in a few months. God, through the working of his Son, came into my life about 4 or 5 years ago, I was sure I was going to spend eternity in the abyss, looking over my entire life was so disheartening, a failure and great sinner with no hope, I was talking to God of how I believed deep in heart, lost, condemned, and also at times being a false Christian, that never lasted long, fell off that pedestal in a shirt time, thus my entire went, depending on my good behavior or acts of kindness towards others, my mind being sinful always going back to self. Praise God, he took mercy on me and called me to pick up my cross, it's been a work of Holy Spirit that I walk after Jesus, striving to obey and share the truth of Jesus. It's a battle, everyday I repent of thoughts or words that come up from my heart, God says the heart is deceitful above all things, I believe that. I believe in election and predestination as it is written all through the Bible, God does all, we are only his vessel to be filled with daily food from the promises of God in Christ Jesus, it's a narrow way, only room for one, which follows Jesus, we have many sisters and brothers but our salvation is a work that Jesus does in each one of his own. I'm not eloquent in words, but I try to convey how much I depend on the work of Jesus. The flesh dies hard, but in Christ, we will prevail and finish the race. ❤
Love love these audio books 📚… I have a malady that causes constant discomfort due to a vascular stenosis., and these listenings are precious from 3-6 in these early morning times as I can quietly learn while others sleep without disturbing them..! Almost a blessing to have this malady!!!! Used for Gods glory💕

Yes. I agree. I repent of my sins everyday to Christ alone in prayer first. To get my life in fellowship and faith with him. He desires my relationship with him alone. He put us in the world but not to live like this secular world. They can call me Jesus freak all they want. I belong to Jesus Christ. Matters not if others love me. Not all will love but Christ First. Above all others. More than a conqueror. Live not for myself but for Christ and others. A right relationship with my Lord. We are a peculiar people. One of my teachers wrote that once. A peculiar child. I'm most blessed. With love always. 😘 💕.

I have had many doubts, many questions, many seemingly hopeless heart situations causing angst emotions and distraught disturbed off balance thinking RESOLVED LISTENING TO THIS. I was sound asleep and woke up during the night to listen to my phone that had been left on.
The story about the woman going to the theater but wanted to know before she became a Christian could she still go...and what he said about you can do whatever you want, only if it brings God glory. Now, that hit me hard today. I guess I didn't really want to quit all these years, and Satan had me thinking God wasn't pleased, but he winked at my sin. NO MORE!!!

please pray with me and for so many people like myself who come and go in the matters of faith. it is so difficult to keep keeping on. its been insightful for me to hear from this life of an overcomer and i pray for God to help me stay this time around forever and ever. there are lots of wisdoms shared about the repentance for it to be true and meaningful. and may i live even if to do all the aspects of repentance shared to make it right and permanent. Make sure to keep close to Jesus by spending an worship time each morning reading about him in the gospels and praying about what you are reading. The morning is like fuelling your car before a long journey. Stay in the attitude of prayer so the still small voice can be heard. If you have problems waking up early, ask Jesus to wake you so that you have enough time. he will do it. Always go to the bible and let it interpret itself, and ask God to help us to find the truth. Other books may be good, but they are men's opinions, and you need to get your knowledge from the bible and the Holy Spirit's insights.
Your best bet is reading your Bible (I would suggest starting from the beginning of the new testament) in a version that you can understand. Also, getting with a local Bible teaching church and getting into a good Bible study is a really good way to start. They'll encourage you to read your word as much as possible and you can go to them with any questions you have
wow amazing book i had to order it if we will line our life up with what He is teaching we can live a overcoming life. I wonder how many who has listen to the book has changed anything in their life to be a better Christian. Most people only want to be a hearer of the word not a doer of it. Thats why so many people are on their way to hell and dont know it they have deceived them self thinking they are ok when they are not. Did God speak to any of you thru the video wow Loud and clear. now its up to me to obey and line my life up.

excellent book, the part about repentance is so needed, and is so real in many lives that attend Church today, and claim to be Christian. The real problem is many are not Christians they just think they are. How sad for those when either they die, or the stand before Christ.
It’s more than believing, Evie, cuz even the demons believe. We must also, RECEIVE (accept into our own spirit) Christ and His finished work. Saying, verbal confession is also key, as well as faith. Look at the woman with the issue of blood for the pattern. 1) She first said ... (faith/trust/believed). 2) Then she went ... (purposeful action) And because of this, (faith/actions) she 3) received. Then she 4) proclaimed ... told of the great thing God did for her! This same pattern is all throughout the Bible of those that have received from God. If you look at the story of David and Goliath, you will see this same pattern. Blessings to you in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior! Amen!

Praise God for this audio book! I have sermons of Moody which I have been trying to get around to reading, but things keep getting in my way. I'm in ministry and teach children. I'm reading the Bible and the Answers in Genesis curriculum. But, I have wanted to just set and read Moody's sermons and know him better. I test the spirit of everyone and also writers I hear about. Praise God, now I can hear Moody's words and know him better. Thank you. God bless you all. Stand firm for Christ. He did not give us a spirit of fear, but of love, power and a sound mind. I believe in God's promises, and Psalm 91 is my favorite, for what we are facing today.🙏 prayer is essential, and it works 🤗

Such a blessing is your words. I'm 71 in a few months. God, through the working of his Son, came into my life about 4 or 5 years ago, I was sure I was going to spend eternity in the abyss, looking over my entire life was so disheartening, a failure and great sinner with no hope, I was talking to God of how I believed deep in heart, lost, condemned, and also at times being a false Christian, that never lasted long, fell off that pedestal in a shirt time, thus my entire went, depending on my good behavior or acts of kindness towards others, my mind being sinful always going back to self. Praise God, he took mercy on me and called me to pick up my cross, it's been a work of Holy Spirit that I walk after Jesus, striving to obey and share the truth of Jesus. It's a battle, everyday I repent of thoughts or words that come up from my heart, God says the heart is deceitful above all things, I believe that. I believe in election and predestination as it is written all through the Bible, God does all, we are only his vessel to be filled with daily food from the promises of God in Christ Jesus, it's a narrow way, only room for one, which follows Jesus, we have many sisters and brothers but our salvation is a work that Jesus does in each one of his own. I'm not eloquent in words, but I try to convey how much I depend on the work of Jesus. The flesh dies hard, but in Christ, we will prevail and finish the race. ❤

Make sure to keep close to Jesus by spending an worship time each morning reading about him in the gospels and praying about what you are reading. The morning is like fuelling your car before a long journey. Stay in the attitude of prayer so the still small voice can be heard. If you have problems waking up early, ask Jesus to wake you so that you have enough time. he will do it. Always go to the bible and let it interpret itself, and ask God to help us to find the truth. Other books may be good, but they are men's opinions, and you need to get your knowledge from the bible and the Holy Spirit's insights.

Your best bet is reading your Bible (I would suggest starting from the beginning of the new testament) in a version that you can understand. Also, getting with a local Bible teaching church and getting into a good Bible study is a really good way to start. They'll encourage you to read your word as much as possible and you can go to them with any questions you have

I wonder how many who has listen to the book has changed anything in their life to be a better Christian. Most people only want to be a hearer of the word not a doer of it. excellent book, the part about repentance is so needed, and is so real in many lives that attend Church today, and claim to be Christian. The real problem is many are not Christians they just think they are. How sad for those when either they die, or the stand before Christ.

It’s more than believing, Evie, cuz even the demons believe. We must also, RECEIVE (accept into our own spirit) Christ and His finished work. Saying, verbal confession is also key, as well as faith. Look at the woman with the issue of blood for the pattern. 1) She first said ... (faith/trust/believed).
2) Then she went ... (purposeful action) And because of this, (faith/actions) she 3) received. Then she 4) proclaimed ... told of the great thing God did for her! This same pattern is all throughout the Bible of those that have received from God. If you look at the story of David and Goliath, you will see this same pattern. Praise God for this audio book! I have sermons of Moody which I have been trying to get around to reading, but things keep getting in my way. I'm in ministry and teach children. I'm reading the Bible and the Answers in Genesis curriculum. But, I have wanted to just set and read Moody's sermons and know him better. I test the spirit of everyone and also writers I hear about.
