I feel so sorry for you who has been locked up by your politicians. Luckily Sweden has laws that prohibits such things and therefore we can hike and keep distance in the woods instead. Be strong UK and come hike with your swedish friends when all this bulls** is over 🇸🇪 🤠 🇬🇧
@@Esoxsvecia Just to say, here in London there is almost the same population of that in Sweden (which is almost half bigger than the entire UK). Perhaps stronger measures were needed (?). Either way, I'm so stuck here in London and so envious of you Swedish people ☹️ I

@@surfside75 Far up in the most northern part of Scandinavia, in the darkest period of the midwinter the sun never rises above the horizont still it is a short moment of light in the sky it's like a sunrise/sunset at the same time, some tourist goes there even more excited of that than they are of the midnight sun in the summer.
The sounds and the colours of winter are epic. Still waiting for snow here but its coming soon. Hiking and/or camping every week regardless of the weather. Keep up the good work everyone 😊👍

Ad the magic photo of a man in the dark, cold and snowy wilderness under a starry night and you’ve almost captured the meaning of it all. Just beautiful. THOSE STARS! We camped in the snow just before New Year's Eve (14f -10c) with snow and a full moon. I'm not sure I like better... the mountains lit up by the moon or seeing the billions of stars. Both are beautiful. Thank you for another fabulous relaxing video during these crazy times.

fantastic! - thanks to your vids, I cycled up (175m AOD) on to the frozen South Downs (UK) on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve (-3 degrees C) and using a Saunders Jet Packer tent and a MACPAC sleeping bag had a frozen adventure. The frozen landscape under the moonlight was breathtaking!
The jeweled stary sky was really awesome ... captured in all its magnificent splendour. Contrasted with the golden sunrise on the snow and trees one can only wonder at the feeling of waking up to such a splendour in the snow for those of us who don't have that opportunity. I just got back from a three day hike. I only have one sleeping pad, bivvy bag and a down sleeping bag. Temperature around - 4 C. Was warm and slept well.
👍👍👍. Had our first real snow today here in Northern Switzerland. Started this morning prior to our weekly Wednesday Group Nordic Walk and has continued. Not that cold .. -2°C when I got up. Warmed up to 0° by the 09h00 launch. .. a Great Outing 😊.
Erik, this vid is the best substitute for actually winterhiking in Lapland. Can't wait for this lockdown to end here and travel up again to the Arctic. How I miss the sound of crispy snow and those colors!
