That captain Cold was pretty sick Not going to lie
Great video! They are correct on completing a run: you want to start at the front (most expensive book), then work your way up. It's easier to climb down a mountain rather than climbing up. Also, the big first book appreciates at the highest trajectory, so you want to lock in that price for today before it really gets out of reach (or further out of reach). A lot of collectors make excuses to nab what they can while the big one appreciates and gets further distant from their ability to acquire it, that's a vicious cycle and you'll never accomplish your goal. Keep up the good content!
Depends on the run/series you're going for. Alot of comics have dropped from the boom that was the pandemic market. The biggest problem in the comic market is it can be artificially inflated at anytime. I unintentionally drove up the market a few years ago on X-Men 32, I like Juggernaught so i was just buying the reasonable early issues gathering multiples, #32 at the time i started buying them was going for anywhere from $15-$30 in poor to mid condition so i just bought any in that price range, fast forward a year and the price jumped to $100+ for a poor copy and was consider a hot book lol now years later it's comedown to around $40-$60. It went thru the fomo phase of people wondering why all the copies were disappearing hit its peak and now is leveling out even though it was just me buying what i liked in cheaper big portions that caused that whole thing. In comic collecting patience and connections is the key to finding and collecting what you love for a reasonable price.
@@bayouboyentertainment2106 nice. I would say January-February was the "Sweet spot" for a "bottom" of comic prices this year. I don't think we can adequately "time" the market, but sometimes you get lucky. Taking the plunge in an environment like this sounds great as it sounds like a great time to strike despite not being the "bottom" prices of first quarter.
Love your convention hunts..keep up the great work.
11:00 - always start with the most expensive ones first, because they're only going to be more expensive the next time you find them IMHO. 🙂
LOL - yeah, what he said, at 19:20. Haha!
Love that you guys are filling that book up. What an amazing and unique part of your collection
Many years ago '85 or '86, I "think" I saw a Batman #1 in the basement of an LCS I no longer visit.
good show
I was just vibing out to the music 12:30
NEW VIDEOO LETS GOOOOOOOO WOHOHHOHO 💪😎❤️
Fun Fun and more fun! Thanks for sharing Your passion and adventures from Toronto Ontario Canada 😎👍♥️📚📚📚📚📚♥️✨️✨️✨️✨️🇨🇦🇺🇸💯💯💯💯💯
They really got the smooth Jazz blaring at top volume there.
Holy moly never knew that spidy one varient
This was a great showing of the floor. I really enjoyed this video.
I love digging through books at a show. When you find "that" book. Good times!
Those classic Vampirella covers are gorgeous
Nice keys!! I hope that guys finds his book. Also shout out to the saxophone player sheesh 😌
Nice vampi pick ups. Sorry to hear someone stole from you guys.
Good magazine pickups. I nabbed a high-grade slab of Eerie 3 last week.
Lmaooo the man talkin about his lost stolen book and you "is that a real Batman #1?!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Can you not tell it’s edited later ??
@@ROJO._ yeah obviously, its just a funny jump cut haha
@@RR75_ yeah lol
I didn't realise this one follows straight on from the previous video.
Vampirella issues are getting scarcer and they weren't printed in huge numbers to begin with; I buy the earlier issues as soon as I see them.
"One of Jenny Frison's first covers"....uhhh that's a 2016 Antman alt cover....she's been doing cover art since 2008, it's not even her first Marvel cover she did a run of Loki's in 2014. This is why i have problems trusting what vendors say lol. Also the guy who got his book snatched what's his shop name and where's he located?
She is wonderful bro....... im jelly!
That sax music how couldn't you be in the mood to buy something
Great Video guys! Love the comic community! Curious, what sketchbook do you use for your personal sketches?
Thank you! We found it in a collection a while back and it has no label on it but im pretty sure its a basic sketch book.
So that guy that just got robbed leaves that Batman 1 at the end of that shelf just in reach for someone to grab -is that correct?
Ah man you're making it harder to wait for nycc! I would of bought all those xmen
I love the guy who says buy the most expensive book (aka DD1) because all it does it go up. It is literally down thousands of dollars across the grade range from the comic boom the last two years haha. Likely further declines ahead.
If your serious about completing a run buy the most expensive first
Could you do your favorite Personal books in your PC? Both of you
At 2:50 was that Selena Cole in the two pice bikini the two books next to each other and how /how carries the Vampirella magazine sizes comic I have been wanting to get some I just bought some of the newer ones from different artists 🎨 to see who is better I just don't know were to get the magazine size.❤
And how dose Vampirella & red Sonja team up & is red Sonja a good book as well I have a old tarzan. ❤❤
Red sonja is smokin hot! There recently was covers of her by ed benes. Theres variants too so get while theyre hot. Wait its red sonja so its always hot.
First Appearance of Iron fist, Marvel premiere as an example. A good Key older comics . but...500$? bullshit. I can go to my local comic shop and get a same issue in "Fine" condition or 7.4, and its at most, 200$. Man, who are these sellers???
my heart goes out to anyone who gets their stuff stolen I know my LCS has been hit a few times in the last year and every time it happens our community is truly saddened and does everything we can to support them in trying to get the books back.
Sorry to hear someone stole from you at your place! That’s rough!
👍👍👍
STILL love your videos and your tours and enthusiasm. Don't get me wrong. BUT I DON'T like big crowds. I don't like competing with "comic box diggers".
Was there any transformers comic books
Would anyone like to know what i would do with that Bloody Trumpet 😈😈
I like the jazz music! Are you both going to C2E2 next year?
Hey I got a question. do you ever buy older classic comics from Bronze Age. I AM NOT JUDGING, but man, I am sorry. the modern comic books do NOT have the kind of quality art and story that the older comic books have. Plus, at these big shows, many times I see modern comic books way overpriced. For example a Number 1 issue of a modern comic book that doesn't have great art but for some reason is considered "hot" or popular will be 40$. I feel this is STUPID. Proof: at many of the local comic book shops I can get older Thors and even Bronze Age Fantastic Fours and old DC ACtion comics....In Fine condition or 7.5, for THE SAME PRICE. I would rather have something older, that has more meaning, more resell ability or for me, greater art and story. However, if you are only interested in the cover, well..... I just don't get the enthusiasm for many of the newer comics [no older than 7 years] that are expensive and "raved" about.
Its lego
Not Lego's
Multiple is lego single is lego
