You mentioned the ASM 238 to that guy. I sold the record high for that book back in 2021. It was ASM 238 9.8 Newsstand Edition with White Pages and Tattoos. I hit the covid highs at just the right time!

I was curious looked up Batman #232 My Comic Shop website has a 9.8! How the hell is a book from 1971 get a 9.8!🤯 Someone cared for that book.
That 1st App Prowler was graded 1/26/23. Your house sale was what maybe a month or so prior to that being graded? Odd coincidence.

7:41 I’m not sure I agree that “reholder doesn’t mean regrading”. My interpretation is that someone will take the book out of the holder and give it a quick look over. If they feel it’s still in the “grade range” they will just reslab it. If the book is noticeably lower grade than the previous slab indicates they will regrade. That being said, I’m not sure anyone REALLY knows the procedure. 🤷🏻
Was just thinking the same thing. Guy needs to read the CGC website a little more closely: "The grade assigned to the book should not change, unless any damage occurred post-encapsulation, in which case the grade will be adjusted accordingly."

I had ASM 601 & 607 but I sold them to get my own place. Part of me regrets it 😭
Wasn't mentioned that the Secret Wars 8 was a newsstand copy to!! Also I disagree on the 7.0 book with that guy. Just another example someone who doesn't analyze there books correctly before sending to CGC.
