Love how open minded you are to all type of music but i knew you would love lana, each album of hers is a new era. Please listen to Ultraviolence, it’s a lot more darker but the instrumentals are so good, a lot of electric guitar it’s my personal fav.

This albums is a classic probably moreso because of it's legacy. Without this record, there's no Lorde, no Billie Eilish, no Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor's discography post-"Red" (particularly her last five albums) look a lot different.

I always thought the "is Lana del Rey a fake persona?" discourse to be really stupid. I mean did anyone ever care whether Ziggy Stardust was real or a "fake persona" of David Bowie? Did anyone care if Lady Gaga was really as weird as she seemed or if it was just an artistic persona she was putting on? Not sure why people suddenly became all outraged when Lizzy Grant decided to do the same thing.
I think it’s stupid too, but just for semantics, it’s not the same when you have a character for an album as opposed to your actual musical persona… definitely can relate her to lady gaga though and she actually got the same treatment from what I remember. But I do agree, it’s stupid

Video games was her kickstarter, got tons of views on youtube when it came out, my first fav song ever and its so timeless.

There are many artists that have like this One song … or maybe a second that stands out … but Lana Releases this album and she could just stop 😂 that album has enough Hits for a whole decade … Video Games Even won „Song of the Decade“ by BBC or so … like imagine IT WAS HER DEBUT ALBUM
