Norman Rockwell was an artist who drew-painted scenes the classic American family from the boomer era. She is just saying how that era is dumb and gone.

All throughout the song she is saying stuff like - I’m the lightning, the thunder, your die-hard, maybe I could save you, let me in… it just transitions into chorus with the same meaning, and the “I’m your man” - it’s like a saying - “I got this, don’t worry”. No one ever says “I’m your woman”.

Most ppl say nfr is her best work but i disagree altho it is beautiful, every one of her albums has grown on me overtime after listening to it SO many times, they're all unique and beautiful in their own ways but a lot of them don't connect w ppl at first listen. Her voice sounds almost perfect in this album bc her voice naturally suits a higher range. Love the overall psychedelic rock theme in this album, the instrumentals are gorg. She;s talking ab her own perspective for Mariner's shes' talkin ab being his ride or die. Once u watch her music videos you'll become more infatuated by how gorgeous she is fr. Nine minute song and it's still a fan favourite!!! Venice bitch is a work of art. Fuck it ily has become one of my favs. yup doin time is a cover but she did it justiceeee. Cinnamon girl is gorgeous and the outro makes it sm betterrr. Everything she writes is usually autobiographical about her own life and perspectives. She and kanye used to b friends she sung for his and kim's wedding, she came for him in this song after he started posting trump supporting shit.
