Your ability to come up with different characters off the top of your head and actually make them distinctly different in every single video blows my mind. You do it so fast too. 🤯
@Sama you could try and draw a real object or person and see what happens. When you're done, you could make the eyes bigger, or get rid of some shading and details to make it more cartoony, if it's too realistic. You could also try and set a time limit. That way you'll try and get the drawing done quickly, without adding in any unnecessary details. Oh, and if you exaggerate the features a bit, it'll help make it more cartoony, too. I'm not sure if this helps, but I hope it does! Have a wonderful day!
It'll be actually really interesting to see watercolor on both paper types, I have been trying to get into watercolors over quarantine, and I legit only use cold press but I want to see the difference between that and hot press. It's so interesting! Keep up the good work Waffles!!💕

I love the fact you make amazing drawings and paintings with the art products but you also review them. This helped me so much and I have gotten a bunch of new art supplies according to you experience using them. They worked great btw. Love your vids bye 🧇
I like how they included a different company for every thickness. This allows us to compare fineliners from different companies and still have a workable set without too many duplicates. Also, Watercolour paper is designed for reduced buckling because watercolour artists use gallons (well not really gallons) of water on the paper. It has to be able to drown in water and still hold its own. So compared to that, you did not use a lot of water. Also, colp press is the fav amongst most watercolour artists because of the texture and how the water and pigment spread on it.

I use cold pressed 300gsm watercolour paper and it has rough textures... It's really awesome to paint on it. I've never tried hot pressed ones... And I'm looking forward to trying it soon....
I was rewatching her video where she had painted her dog and I laughed a little because the paper she got from the Art Snacks box was the Stonehenge Aqua Cold Press. She had said she liked the paper then, too
When you said stripes aren't that professional the first thing that came to mind for me was "pinstripe suit". I think the problem was, was that you did the horizontal stripes in stead of the vertical ones.

Aaaah, this episode is gonna be so much fun to watch -- I was gifted some of these during a secret santa in school, but I never got to use them as often aside from adding accent colors because I didn't feel confident to use them just yet, so I definitely feel like using them alongside this video will be perfect practice for me

I love using colored pencils on Hot Press watercolor paper. It's soooo smooth and satisfying. And they blend together really nicely.

When she said we can do one character with one side hot one side cold I was like she can draw todoroki 😂 ( he is one of my favs bnha characters )
I love cold press for watercolor, and use hot press for Gouache. The smoother texture is nice for a more opaque paint. Love how the art turned out!
