I removed the blend door actuator and before installing the new one...motorcraft oem...in case you were wondering and made all of the switch changes from heat to air, inside/outside, defrost face & feet, but the new one doesn’t move either

The reset didn't work for be, but i unplugged the drivers side actuator and plugged it back in while it was running and that worked. It was completely a fluke.
What about the defrost door actuator. I cannot find one single video on that. Not the blend door or the inlet door. The defrost panel actuator behind instrument panel
I did. It is located up behind the instrument panel. You can access it by removing the lower dash cover under the steering wheel. You have to lay on your back in driver's side floor and look straight up. Beside the positioning you have to get in, it's not that difficult to remove.@@amandastahl7638
I have a 08 ford edge and My AC is stuck on defrost and won't blow through the main vents do you think it's a vacuum hose leak and if so where is it located?
That one is for heat & Air flow direction only. Control where air & heat will come out from. There is one rite below it for heat & Air. That only controls how much heat & air comes out.
Hi....i have malibu 2013 4 slinder....the fan working direct with start car and even after off the car for munits...abd there code 4....can u pls. Explain the reason. Thanks
If you lay down on the floor board and look up towards the dash there is another blend door, check that one. Ps it's hard to get to. I believe it has a green plug of some sort.
My 2008 Ford edge has one side blowing cold one side hot. I checked and the blend door actuator works. I watched it move from hot to cold. But still one side only blows cold air any ideas?

Did you find out how to fix this problem. My neighbor is having the same issue now with her vehicle, same year & model of yours.

Can this course air not to blow form vents?
All that does is switch hot/cold basically. If it’s not bling air at all, likely a Blower Motor or the resistor for it.

What would cause the passenger side to get cold but not the driver's side. Driver's side doesn't get cold. What could it be

You got burnt, if the condenser was bad you would have no ac at all.😮
