i can totally understand why people want to hear this song without the vocals but my one piece of advice would be that part of the journey of being a metalhead is learning to love vocalists you dont like. i used to hate dave mustaines voice as a teen but now in my 20s i think he sounds great. give him a second chance bros. \m/
I really can't stand Megadeth's dry guitar tones (especially on this album and Peace Sells...), but damn do they have amazing guitar work. I practically spent two whole days doing nothing but learning this song after hearing it for the first time, and it's still fun to play.
That really goes to show how guitar tone can be a very subjective taste, because I personally think the guitar tones in this song especially are killer. I think that’s what’s so cool about exploring all manners of different sounds on the instrument.
