As a Auzzie fire fighter (who spent a week in Victoria at those fires) I'm so proud you used the Australian fire uniform colours! The transformation and colours are amazing ❤ I feel like we would have less villains if we popped them at the end of a fire hose for a few days 😂
They'd probably be the ones who started those fires themselves and fake their shock just to play innocent. A couple of firefighters started their own fires in the past, just for glory.

I agree, but I never seen the movie and had no desire to. I hate how they always make these short little fat guys be sidekicks. They hang on the villains side, but they suck in character development. It also can be offensive to boys (and girls too) who are short and fat, and don't want to be seen as the goofy sidekick all the time. And why is the princess always drawn to be "sexy" when in 90% of the movies, she's underaged? I'm glad Encanto didn't have any characters like Lefou tbh
This shows so very well that art educators show more than just how to draw and paint, they also teach about concepts like service, community, sympathy, and choices we make that determine who we will become. One of the most human things we've seen in a long time!
I feel like Mother Gothel's redemption should feature her being a loving foster mother or working at an orphanage. So instead of taking a child (Rapunzel) from her family, she's giving a family and home to children without one. Instead of being a manipulative and emotionally abusive mother, she cares for and loves the children in her care. Makes me emotional just picturing it.

An idea for hero Gaston is that either him and Belle pretend to be courting (old fashion dating) so that the town stop making rumors about her and their relationship being like that of a brother and sister or cousins that grow up together. Maybe him even volunteering to teach the boys of the town how to hunt (that want to that and his lessons are open to girls who want to try as well). Him even giving Beast advice when his and Belle’s relationship is out in the open (after the curse been lifted)
If I may make a suggestion. I kinda wish you didn’t show the nearly finished picture in the beginning of the video, because I feel it takes the mystery out of it for me. Just an opinion though, I still love this idea of “un-corrupting” a character!
This is the FIRST creative artistic aim I've seen in the past 10 years and can see this become a popular art trend where people change fictional characters into different personalities on social media.
What a beautiful story! Our volunteer firies really are heroes. The 2016 fires in WA were devastating, but thanks to the firies my parents home was saved, literally burnt all around them right up to the mail box, but the fire fighters fought bloody hard and saved the house and sheds and that fire was an inferno. Watching you colour the background gave me goose bumps.
As someone who lost their entire hometown to a wildfire in 2018, I appreciate the homage to our firefighters who work so hard to help when disaster strikes💕
I would love to see a "how to gesso in coloring book". but that 's just me daydreaming 😁. thank you for and your team for your hardwork, spending time on your channels always feels uplifting and inspiring.
Do you mean just the process? It would be to use a transparent gesso and just painting it on there, if you need 2 layers you'd let it dry and paint over it again😊
Great video concept and nice execution! Those luminance pencils definitely look like they blend nicely! I like how you planned out the colors digitally!
Well the reason Gaston was such a big deal was that he was a war hero, so he's not overly selfish, like in the end he was trying to save Bell. I personally love Gaston. And I loved the redeemed G too. That coloring is amazing.

I suggest that you use procreate to make changes to the linework and then print it to your favorite paper. This will save from doing the gesso step altogether.
People deaths hit really hard, but animal deaths seem to hit harder, animals are more innocent, we love them so much, and cry and cry when they pass. ❤

I'm a fan of this new series =) I have a story idea based on if Bad Gaston actually did marry Belle... but they met new neighbors from another nation with a message of good news.
A firefighter would be a good redemption for Gaston, since firefighters, in my personal experience, don't put up with any bigotry. My grandfather was a firechief for years and the people at his hall were some of the sweetest and funniest people, but if you disrespected a woman or treated someone badly for their skin colour, it was scary for you. And being firefighters, a public service, they deal with every creed of person, as well as learning de-escalation and how to calm trauma victims, so it would be a good learning experience for Gaston. Plus kids LOVE firefighters, so maybe being hero worshipped by kids for something that helps people, would help his ego

I could see him as the centerfold of the fireman's calendar. You definitely turned him around and i now will have some very romance novel fantasies watching beauty and the beast Love it.

Do you ever use a light pad and "color/trace" onto a blank piece of paper? I've been thinking about doing that lately. Just so hard to find the right coloring page that you'd wanna commit a bunch of time to.
Actually, I think you ended up making Gaston look like he is upset that Lefou is rushing in headlong and is calling to him to calm down! That makes him even more of a hero because he is looking out for his best friend while battling the fire. I am not in that area, but this year the USA had many many fires in the Northwest. California is the hardest hit but the lowest in lives lost. Hurricanes and tsunamis do far more damage in our country and that is the east coast. Where I live, it is tornados and high winds...some winds, lately have reached hurricane force! All the volunteers are greatly appreciated and turning Gaston into a volunteer firefighter really does make him from a villain into a hero!

The video is here on YT. Anyways, I was watching the telecast at home. When I saw the guy who voiced Gaston come out to sing, my eyes went 👀 👀👀👀 I was like “Well, hello Gaston!” 🥵😍😂 I wasn’t the only one. My best friend called me and yelled “Did you see the guy that plays GASTON!?!” 🤣 Robbie Benson, who voiced the Beast was quite the eye candy himself. 😏

I normally use colour pencils first and then markers it helps to blend then for shading colour pencils
