    Good Job Mark! A good detailed example of how to use that glue. I used it once and probably because it was a cheap brand it came out very uneven. 👍

    It must have taken you ages to iron all those creases into that green T shirt mate ! Lol Seriously tho....thanks for sharing. You made that look easy and I know it's not that easy ! Just found your channel and subbed. Happy travels everyone. John

    • @Iveavan
      @Iveavan  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Thanks for Subbing John 😁👍, creased and too big 😂, no this bit is the easy bit, I'm just looking at wiring in the BeCM controller for the Range Rover seats 😯, looks like no one has done it successfully....... Unless it's going into another Range Rover with the other half of the wiring loom 🤦‍♂️, so the seat instalation video is going to be interesting to do! 😂🤔😁👍👍👍

      @@Iveavan if it gets too much you could always go back to basics.....at the end of the day it's no more than a series of motors that can switch to run either way by reversing polarity. All they do is turn a worm to reel in or out each axis of adjustment. A 2 way rocker switch for each function set up to throw relays would do it. You might have to set up a whole new bank of switches per seat rather than make the existing ones work. They could be used but its a lot harder than rewiring fresh switches. I'm saying this cos I've looked at it in detail before. I had 2 brand new Evoque seats I was thinking of using in my van but the project took a different turn. I got them for free so I gave them away. Lovely leather and shaping. You could use the connectors from the vehicle loom or you could go right back to red and black at each motor ( I know they're not actually red and black but you get what I mean. ) Hope this helps. John

    • @Iveavan
      @Iveavan  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cheers John 😉👍, that's what I've been working out tonight matey, the BeCM is next to useless, and can cause battery drain, so...... I'm by passing that, (passenger seat should be easy to do mind you 😉) I'm going down the same road as you mentioned, motors and switches are going to be negatively switched, 8, 40 amp 5 terminal relays will do the full drivers seat mate, with one 30amp fuse on the 12 volt side. As for the heated seats timer relay, but that will be for another day, just need the seats to be moving for the MOT, and to be cracking on with the rest of the build 😉. Cheers for that bud 😁🍺👍👍👍

    Good job! Looks really nice. If only we were allowed to make our own bulkhead wall here in Norway. You´re not allowed to do ANYTHING with it. If I was allowed I would make a door in it for sure. ;-)

    • @Iveavan

    How did you attach the wooden frame to the sides and floor of the van? Also did you bend the wood

    • @Iveavan
      @Iveavan  ปีที่แล้ว

      I pre drilled the wood into the metal frame work of the van and attached the battens using screws following the contour of the van's body work. So, yes I had to bend the battens bud 😉👌👍👍👍.

    Great Job Mark I am looking at doing a Daily XLWB conversion next year. your channels been great for light weight ideas to save weight in the van. Do you know what the total weight of the build was?

    • @Iveavan
      @Iveavan  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      To be fair, even though I was mindful regarding weight, I was still over the 3.5t when I last weighed it and had to remove a lot of items that I seem to of accumulated like tools, spare wheel (which wouldn't be any good due to the new wheels are larger & lighter) and any other items that I hadn't used or need the use for which was around 150kg in total to bring it down. I'm going to weigh it again early next year to see where else I could improve weight wise for when I refurb the interior of the van. Unfortunately with the mk3 LWB Iveco, you've only got around 1185kg aprox (if my memory serves me correctly) to play with bud. 😉👍👍👍.
