    Super !
I appreciate traditional wines that are indicative of their respective appellations.

Great interview Amanda! MJLH is a lady full of passion and knowledge. I like the way she explained about the importance and what it means to them to keep on producing a distinctive style of aged wines which is what it has made Rioja historically so famous worldwide.

That Rioja red wine seems to be good for cardiovascular health. All the relatives she talks about lived beyond the age of 90.

Great wines but I must admit I stopped buying their wines when they stopped me taking photos on a tourist visit. This irked as I had bought their lovely wines for three decades. My final years on this planet have been spent looking for nicer suppliers, CVNE and LRA were much friendlier. Such a shame, o que pena.

No photos? Is it like a company policy?

@@aitornavarro6597 yes, that’s what they said. I did say that the photos were just for me, I mean I don’t even do Facebook but despite my words their attitude disappointed me so despite loving their wines and philosophy I moved on to other producers. I used to buy at least 6 cases a year on release from my wine merchant here in the UK and older vintages when I saw them come up for sale. I still have a fair bit in my cellar though going back to the 64 vintage. I now buy most of my Rioja from .la Rioja Alta.

@@antonybrown4231 Very strange. I can only think they like to keep their winemaking "recipe" a secret. I only recently discovered this winery, earlier in the year really and thus far they're my favourite Rioja. I do plan on visiting Spain one day, I live in The States and would love to visit their winery. Such a shame they have a no picture policy in place

Try again ... get over it...these wines are worth a little ego loss.
