Maybe you just don't like his brand of it. But everyone does it as far as I can tell. Regarding the Maricopa, it would be good if you could link a video for reference sake. If the guy got ticked with himself for performing badly and stormed off the course because he is competitive and wants to do well, then all that shows is he has heart and drive. Every single player in the tour has gotten miffed with him or herself. It manifests itself differently in deferent players. Now, did he knock an ice cream cone out of some kid's hand or berate someone else in his flight that had a good round when he was mad at himself?This would be grounds to support your argument. Got any evidence of that kind of behaviour?

I’m a huge Gibson fan and have pretty much his entire clothing line haha but his spicy takes(matty o leaving prodigy being one) does make me laugh but some people take things pretty personal.
I’ve seen him get pretty emotional and outright angry on the course before. Partly a side effect of being really competitive, but he has looked a lot more mature since really starting tearing it up part of the way through last season. He looks much more calm and collected now, which appears to making a huge difference on the putting green, as well as looking like overall a much more pleasant person to play with/against. Props to him for showing that maturity and pulling out a huge win here!

Amazing golf by Drew, but I think it should also be noted that his interview was one of the most prepared and professional I've seen. Pros in contention should definitely keep this in mind and have something prepped just in case they're in front of the cameras at the end of the event.
We are truly spoiled in disc golf. 20 years from now we might still consider this the golden age. Some of these endings. Worlds. USDGC. Pro tour championships. And now this gem. My goodness! That overtime loss is going to feed the monster in Gannon Buhr! All top athletes who experience such a painful defeat learn from these excruciating losses, and the top guns use it to feed their fire because they never want to feel it again! I'm excited to see the growth potential for that young man. He's already a beast, but this experience is going to make him into something like we've never seen!!!

Yeah I got really tired of hearing the commentators mention this over and over. Looks like eagle gave up towards the end when he knew he was out of the running to win the tournament.
What an exciting finish! Big kudos to Gannon Buhr, he had so much poise and skill, and only perfection beat him. Drew was nothing short of spectacular, Eagle showed so much experience in keeping cool and having a good time, and Tristan finished so strong. All in all a fantastic card. Drew Gibson is a class act. He played well and gave props Buhr for playing out of his mind. This was fun to watch.
He's definitely one of my favorite pros right now. Pure passion, amazing skill, and yet still has that humble side to him.

I'm excited to see the growth potential for that young man. He's already a beast, but this experience is going to make him into something like we've never seen!!!

Absolutely incredible to see a SIXTEEN year old in a playoff on a national tour event, and absolutely incredible to see how much better Drew's putting has gotten over the past years. You could tell it was one hard working off season for Buhr's overall game and Drew's putting. This sport is growing rapidly and will for a long long time. That’s what happens when you think you’re invincible and blow your shoulder doing some absolutely stupid stuff. It 100% sucks for him, but that’s the sad consequences of his actions.
Yeah I got really tired of hearing the commentators mention this over and over. Looks like eagle gave up towards the end when he knew he was out of the running to win the tournament.

What an exciting finish! Big kudos to Gannon Buhr, he had so much poise and skill, and only perfection beat him. Drew was nothing short of spectacular, Eagle showed so much experience in keeping cool and having a good time, and Tristan finished so strong. All in all a fantastic card. Thank you everyone for making this coverage possible!
They both deserved to win so much. Gannon leading most of the tournament and Drew coming up from so far down. What a showdown and what a finish.

Just finished watching this. Holy cow what a great final round. But is going to be incredible to watch as he progresses. Gibson threw a superlative round and both of those guys were truly good sports throughout. And Tanner, what a player. he has gotten much better.
