His story arc with his strict father is also a highlight of Jungle Fury for me.
He’s one of the best things in an already pretty good season. I much preferred it to the last beast based power rangers season before it

I can't believe certain company with decades of fighting games on its belt doesn't realize it can make something awesome with a small budget that still looks good and, as long as they keep updating it, fans will get behind it.
I wish every big FG dev would realize this.
I've always loved how each character in Jungle Fury has a certain fighting style and RJ(who is super chill)has what looks like Muay Thai(which is a super hard and badass striking style)

For people playing RJ in BFTG. Holding 4S to charge Capt Falcon punch. When the arms glow purple, you can dash cancel the stance and save that Falcon punch for later.
In Max's TOD combo, start with doing the above and doing the combo as usual. But when you do your EX move, don't tap EX again to start the combo part. Pause for a sec as they are stunned by the fire and press 4S for the Falcon punch. This will wallboumce them over your head and you can catch them with super. I have caught them in the air and just as they land face down. Combo damage of 1048 with RJ and no assist.

Wild Force Silver is IMO, the most viable, especially if they will employ Zen-Aku as part of the character's gimmick.

It would make sense as Tiger Destruction since Geki Violet (wolf ranger in the states) uses Muay Tai as his main fighting style
As Linkara of the TH-cam show Atop the Fourth Wall pointed out, in a Power Rangers season that is so massively overlooked and underrated like Jungle Fury, RJ the Wolf Ranger is easily one of the best and memoable characters of the show.
A laid back surfer dude done right, a legit mentor character with applicable advice and lessons, and his own story arc involving issues with his strict, traditional father. Also of course has the distinction of being the first ever purple ranger, and one of only two if you’re strictly staying with “rangers” only.
Gekiviolet in the Super Sentai counterpart Gekiranger is also a great character.
Stop! I'm already watching through the Time Force season to get the backstory to the Quantum Ranger. I think I need to at least wait until the full season pass is available to buy on steam before I start another PR season.

I read the notes for him and they said he's a rush-down brawler. Once I read that, I saw Max labbing with him to amazing results. RJ is going to be a beast in battle. Imagine RJ,Trey, and Quantum Ranger.....

Antonio Arenas it could totally be something else also. That’s just what it reminded me of with the lead leg out on the ball of his foot and the positioning of his hands. Plus his knees and I’m pretty sure I saw a spinning back elbow in his move set.

Nice! I'm running Drakkon/Cenozoic Blue/RJ to try and tack on RJ's stupid damage to teleport mix-ups and Blue's excellent assist for approaching. I'm not taking it online yet, but even labbing/arcade is SO FUN.
Max's point about labbing characters is what led me to learning about a lot of my go-to characters in Tekken. I had notepads of combo strings and branches and shit. It was like figuring out a life-altering math sequence that changes the very laws of nature. Also, it's relaxing.
He def got his training from the Tiger Master Sagat
With some Shinryuken training by Mr. Ken Masters himself!
Ironically he trained the tiger master(Casey, Red Ranger) In that season.
This is the first time I’ve done combos before Max has put out a video and there’s a certain sense of pride I feel from doing the same cool stuff he does with a fighting game character

I noticed something in training mode. His "last dragon" purple hand move it can be cancelled with dash or light attack which gives him a little damage buff. Really fun to find and do. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

This is one of those games where you can really feel how much the devs love the propriety they are working on. If they make a Japanese version they should alter it into a Super Sentai game, have things come full circle

I love Power Rangers and this game is great as a fighting game. I love that Max is having fun with this little game haha. I hope they’ll add the Ryu Ranger and Chun Li Ranger in the future.
You mean the Power Ranger versions of Ryu and Chun-Li from that crossover event Power Rangers: Legacy Wars had with Street Fighter that would be cool but like with the crossover event it all depends on if Capcom is willing to play ball and allow Ryu and Chun-Li to actually to be guest characters in the game.

I would find it super odd that two classic fighting game characters wouldn’t end up in a fighting game. Street Fighter crossing over with Power Rangers is ridiculous as it is so they might as well go full throttle haha.

In case anyone cares, this character in the original Super Sentai show was Fukami Gou, GekiViolet. His super was called Tenchi Tenben Da. Gekiranger was a fun show.

I have been watching a couple of Max videos, of when he tries a new character and it still funny (or maybe I'm stupid xD) how he read some comments, and immediately knows how to do x or y combo, based on a description that to me is gibberish, I know they are fighting games words/terms, but its still awesome how you guys (the community) are expert with a character based on past experiences. And also makes me don't wanna play online fighting games lol (as in I'm going to definitely lose xD).
He is now officially my number 1 main in the game.
