Once my cat was stuck in a tree. I saw a man running in the rain with no shirt on. He stopped to help me. Got my cat down then patted me on the back and said “remember your habits”. He then ran off into the distance. Thanks Aman.
Wow, lucky you. I had the complete opposite story. I was walking my cat, it started raining, Aman ran up to me with no shirt, ripped mine off, put it on, took my cat and threw him up into the tree, then Aman ran away yelling something about Pythagorus. Don’t support these guys.
My name is Ella-May from Mobile, Alabama, and I just want to say since Amans taimanov speedrun, I been able to date outside the family, I got a double wide, and I rode a plane Thanks aman!
I'm a beginner who was scared of the Sicilian and its extensive theory and never played it until this series. You inspired me to try it, and now it's my favorite opening. Can't wait for more of this series! Thanks brahs!
I once got lost in a foreign land, and a man approached me, asking for directions. I pointed off to the diagonal and he said "do I look like a bishop to you?" I checked, and he stepped away. I could smell whiskey, fine cigars, and cologne, and I knew this man was a chessbrah
much much appreciate the post-game analysis. I like it that you show variations. I like to take what I learn from here and play bullet and blitz games. It makes me drill into the habbits and just working on not doing blunders. I like to setup and play this theme, makes me go into end game with confident. My next step is to improve my endgame I feel like I suck it at.
Don't worry about people complaining that you're playing against lower rated players early in the series. The idea of the speedrun is that you showcase the opening against most elo levels, letting people like me, who sits around 800, see what mistakes people make at my elo. Allowing me to both learn from those mistakes to not make them myself, and also to avoid making those mistakes in the first place. So yeah, if you gotta stroke your ego go for it :D
I'm shy to pick up new openings, but this series is converting me to Taimonov over everything. The piece harmony looks way more satisfying than my current Najdorf. Thanks Aman!
what can I do if i face D4 openning as black and I am one trick pony taimanov player ? I am looking to introduce myself to taimanov alternative when i cant play it vs D4 openning as black
This is a great series. Keeps reminding me to check scope and spend a bit of time calculating. It's usually how I blunder 42 games in a row after I win 3 lol.
So this 37:18 comment is probably sarcastic but this is actually one of my main motivations to get better. I want that feeling of effortlessly crushing noobs one after another. If only speedruns were allowed for everyone I could give it a try, but it wouldn't be the same feeling when they start winning some games at 1300. Not quite there yet.
hahahhhaahahahahahahaahahaha I love the comment about crushing the 600. Dude, It would be an HONOR to be crushed every single day by a fucking gm. This is the way to get better my dude, and if the gm even enjoys it, lets fucking go!
How do you expect him to teach the lower rated players without showing how to beat what people at their level play? Should he just play at his own rating? That kind of high level game play is literally useless to someone stuck below 1000.
@Martijn29009 Just because you don't want to see them, it doesn't mean no one wants to. How are people supposed to learn how to beat sub optimal lines in the opening if we never see any games player against bad players. Plus, It'd be stupid to neglect the 95% of chess players (those below 1800) when they need the help the most.

We were playing CoD 🤷♂️
The comments on this channel are always hilarious 😂

35:18 that long range bishop call was almost like it was scripted it was that smooth!

35:17 made me chuckle

“Do all lower ELO players and get together at a weekly convention and plan this move to attack my queen?”
Nothing like spending a few hours with Aman on a cold rainy day in late January learning the Taimanov. Thanks bro 👍🏻♟️
Thanks Aman, now I can finally beat 600's!
17:02 That's so crushing, in a game that was already crushing.
what can I do if i face D4 openning as black and I am one trick pony taimanov player ?

Why was Aman on fire with the jokes this episode 😂 love it brahs keep it up
Aman, this is a great series, and I am egarly waiting for next episode. Please continue....
that is awesome. waiting every new part
Keep it up Aman, these games are great!
Thank you for this series.
i started playing this "weird" set up last year and it is now my main repertoire, now I know it has a name xD
hahahhhaahahahahahahaahahaha I love the comment about crushing the 600. Dude, It would be an HONOR to be crushed every single day by a fucking gm. This is the way to get better my dude, and if the gm even enjoys it, lets fucking go!
35:17 L M F A O
Why do you develop the black bishop on the e7 instead of d6
I see 1.e4, c5 2. d4, cxd4 3. Qxd4 ALL THE TIME at about 1000 rating blitz... That was great! :)
19:26 we all share one brain cell actually💀
17:00 😮
"I'm winning material too fast to count it all!" Nice problem to have.
Game at 34:00 has a new name. The VERY open Sicilian.
I apologize if you cover this in the video. I'm still watching as I type this, but can you cover what to do against an Alapin setup?
I started playing the Taimanov as I was sick of E5 traps & sharp lines. It's SO solid 👍
My doggo found a turtle in the road today and we took him to a pond.
Thank your doggo for its service
Mine would've eaten it.
Black piece games:
4:49
12:24
nice KO's. thanks so much
taimanov is dope
What's the song at 35:52
Jumping on the last train th-cam.com/video/0bnxrgUyssQ/w-d-xo.html
on a serious note, 26:27 is a key explanation (I'm rated 1200)
do not fear gm hambletons instruction, just take it in, and relax, and play the moves.
What is he playing against D4 as black?
im currently stuck in 900 playing only taimanov
if you want to bring me in as case study im 900 stuck playing only taimanov
everytime you say "knight out" it sounds so scottish
I love Amman
5-3 =.......4?
14:25 😂 it’s always the players that are rushing you to make moves that make the most idiotic blunders. Like bud, maybe you should slow down too.
Moreee morreee
Can you make a chessable course of this?
This is the course brah
These 600s are not bad but they like to play bad opening moves
3 min bro
3 min bro.
Cool man, beating up 600 rated players
He’s teaching people the opening, including showing people how to beat 600s with that opening. There’s no problem here.
A GM, too. He must feel like such a tough guy.
How do you expect him to teach the lower rated players without showing how to beat what people at their level play? Should he just play at his own rating? That kind of high level game play is literally useless to someone stuck below 1000.
@@jonpowers7070 he should start at 2000 level or maybe 1800 otherwise noone wants to see those games

Imagine being a GM and bragging about defeating sub 1000 rated players. Bizarre
