    Professor, please answer, how do I display the image of Sentinel 1 in a format that I know what is under the surface of the earth, since it is a radar that can penetrate the earth

    Thank you for this introduction. I am working with Sentinel 2 for aquatic environment related studies, especial submerged vegetation. I want to have more examples with how I could use to detect these vegetation and differentiate habitat of vegetation in coastal waters.

      Hi, I am also trying to detect submerged vegetation. Have you been successful in detecting the vegetation using this method?

    Thank you very much for this video , but can I used SNAP for analyzing pollution data from Sentinel 5 ?

    Please I am mapping marginal land in Europe using open source datasets like Sentinel-2 Global land cover(S2glc), Corine land cover, Pan-European High Resolution Layers (HRL) tree cover density, Natura 2000 network , DEM, European Soil Database Derived data etc... please do you have any suggestions on the type of reference dataset i can use for the accuracy assessment or any other suggestions please.

    How about when yo get many images with clouds, is there a way to rectify a downloaded image using SNAP tool?

    I used the satellites once through the Copernicus site, but this seems much easier. 😀

      i had the same problem once. I downloaded another image file and it worked right away. try choosing another image from another date or place

      You can assign the bands manually according to your requirement. For example B4, B3, B2 respectively for true color.

    Dear all, can someone clarify the difference between SMOS toolbox and SNAP?

    • @esasnap
      @esasnap 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can consider SNAP as being a platform. While it provides basic general tools it is the host for other toolboxes. Those toolboxes provide thematic of sensor specific tools. The SMOS box provides functionality to read and investigate SMOS data.

    Hi there, I have 2 images of the same place/viewing conditions, 5 days apart. However, when i export them as GeoTIFF images and load them into Matlab for the purpose of doing change detection, they get loaded in with different sizes. i.e. one of the pictures is a 692x488x4 matrix while the other is a 692x550x4 matrix. I need them to be the same size. Is there a way I can shape them to be equal size without loosing data in SNAP? Would I use resampling for this also or something else? Thank you.

      I think you are downloading one scene in Ascending while the other in descending mode. you have to download the images which have the same mode either ascending or descending. If you still have the problem try to clip (Mask) both of the images by using a shapefile that surrounds the area of interest.

      You can use Sen2cor with SNAP for atmospheric correction. ESA has their lessons on how to use Sen2cor in youtube
