@Kurt Shaver If it were only that simple. For many of the people that I have helped, the choose virtual background option is not available on the dropdown. I was looking for help on why that might be the case. For me, I had to log into the web client, settings, advanced. Then change the toggle for virtual background. Then go into the zoom app, settings, room, account settings, and make sure there was a virtual background active. It should have worked at that point but didn't. I was hoping your video would address the how like the title used to say. The additional step that I had to take was to exit the app and sign out of zoom. The log back in and relaunch the app. Then it worked.
@Kurt Shaver, unfortunately unchecking "I have a green screen" does not work for everyone. If I do it, I get an error message saying that "Computer does not meet requirements." support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/210707503#Instructions
That's because he doesn't know how. He's just using virtual backgrounds, which is easy, IF you have a green screen behind them. That's the trick I'd like to learn.
You can only do it if the device you're using supports it, go into virtual background and uncheck the "use green screen" and it will tell you if you can or not
Didn't help at all. I uncheck the I don't have a green screen and the an error that says your computer doesn't meed the minimum requirements to use this feature without a green screen.
You didn't explain how to actually get a background without using a green screen. Zoom says my imac requires a physical green screen so I am guessing I can't go with any of these ideas until I purchase a physical green scrren, right?
@Steve Young We don't think it's because of your computer. We talk deeper about this topic in our Selling with Video Virtual Training 👉 vengreso.com/selling-with-video-virtual-bootcamp-remote-teams
This video title is misleading and he does not show you how to change the background or upload different backgrounds. It would be more helpful if he took it down and edited it again.

I have the same problem. My computer does not meet the minimum requirements. I have an HP that is about four years old. If there is a way i don't know it. I live in a small place. I can't afford a green screen nor do I have the room.
It's not called "big enough" its just your cpu that doesn't support it. IF ur using a Mac, some have dual core intel i5s at 2.7 Gz but the requirement is at least quad cores intel i5
I'm trying to add a background. There is a Simpson's living room one I want to use for my classes lol. I have the latest update, 4.6, for zoom but it (or any of the provided backgrounds won't work). :(
I didn't get instructions on how to find the option "virtual background" AND min requirements to make it work. I have an older MacBook Pro, and it won't work.
This was useless. You never shared how you do it without a greenscreen in the backdrop. All you did was show different kinds of backgrounds but never how you do it without the greenscreen.
@Kurt Shaver EXACTLY this. Mine does not meet the necessary standard to do virtual backgrounds without a green screen. You'd have to get a new computer.
You just showed a bunch of backgrounds without telling us how to... and where to find this “button” your wife used. Nice showing off your background and thanks for wasting our time.
Your title doesn't match the content since you don't show viewers how to do it. Why do people do this? I'm new to Zoom and have watched countless videos on this subject and apparently, my 4 year old computer can't handle green screen technology. Can't understand why Zoom can't come up with other options for changing backgrounds.
Yeah, but how do you do it?

Hi
The video doesnt help at all... what we need is the "how to" without green screen in low-end computer.
You did not show the how like the title said it would.
