@TokaiXL-z3g we did it for generations because we were told that it was part of our culture. But then, we were tormented by the evil spirits. It was so bad that we couldn't even sleep at night. Finally, when we found out why we were tormented, we stopped slaughtering animals. These days, we let the butcher do the slaughtering but it's not for rituals.

My cousin grandma was too old, and one day we started to share about the word. Then she shared the story of her grandma taught them ten commandments. She said during those times they did not have radio, television or sees a Bible. Then I asked her, how come your grandma taught you and your siblings about the Word of God if there was no one who preach the word to her. And said God told her about the importance of commandments. Last year September we slaughtered at home and after that night i had a dream of 2 figures the other one looked like an old figure with a white beard they were wearing the same white clothes as Jesus and told me we should not slaughter because had already been a sacrifice (paid the price) i have been already been a Christian.This is so true

I’m truly glad a brother who is born in the land has actually had this revelation. Our brothers and sister in different countries in Africa are heavy into ancestral worship, making agreements with demonic spirits for wealth and other earthly things. Then she shared the story of her grandma taught them ten commandments. She said during those times they did not have radio, television or sees a Bible. Finally someone who’s speaking about this l have l an always found it wild how majority South African Christians still practise ancestral worship , when the bible explicitly says not to practise necromancy. I feel some of the problems that black South Africans face are directly connected to this.

I’m truly glad a brother who is born in the land has actually had this revelation. Our brothers and sister in different countries in Africa are heavy into ancestral worship, making agreements with demonic spirits for wealth and other earthly things.
