Thank you I agree you would have to use it in order to justify the cost But man is that unit slick I think I will have to break down at some point and buy one.
Yes not bad at all it only took me about 5 minutes to dig the dirt. those few people sure were interested in the gold that I found and where I was digging. We will see what is left when we get back up there.
That was crazy for only four buckets of dirt and only about 10 feet away from where I have been digging. You know where I will be digging next time I get up there.
very nice machine....wow.....and for 4 buckets that as a nice haul of gold as well.....love that setup...thanks for the vid.....now time for ya to go home and do some tweekin on your setup ...lol....just kiddin. have a great day, and safe travels.
Gold Fox sure does make a great product. those four buckets of dirt came from about 10 feet away from the hole I have been digging. You know where I will be digging next time out. Yes I have some work to do on my set up someone gave me a idea on how to improve the spray bar that I am going to try. Take care.
Golden Paydirt Reviews no worth it ,to slow ,just get a highbanker from goldhog like the raptor flare or the piglet is much better than this slow trommel
As far as I am concerned Kelly at Gold Fox makes the best piece of small mining equipment there is. The lil monster is a rugged tough dependable machine. I used mine for many many hours before having to sell it. Some day soon I will have another one even though I don't prospect as much any more. But that is how sold on this companies equipment I am. Nice review Alan
As much field testing as you are doing for Kel maybe you can convince him to leave a test unit for the rest of your season. It would be a win/win situation for both of you.
That would be great but I think he is just starting the new sluice set up. I think I am going to get the top part of the trommel for my set up I just need to find the time to go pick one up.
Been trying to contact this company to ask a few questions about there Omni fox, left message by phone and email with no call back or email.. Does anyone know is there still in business. also wanted to see if you can now get the extra sleeve with the unit to as they don't have that option on there website.
To slow just get a high banker from gold hog that is much better like the Raptor flare or the piglet ,I used to have one of those crap trommel is to dam slow
Hum, 4 buckets and so much gold...it's magic, I gotta get two..
Good review Alan. I love that unit. If I was able to get out in the field more, you can bet I would have one of those. Really well designed.
Thank you I agree you would have to use it in order to justify the cost But man is that unit slick I think I will have to break down at some point and buy one.
Ultimately the best rerunning the water. What i need in Arizona
It work great if you don't have running water.
Not a bad days work, and it looked easy going for sure Mr. Alan. Plus the fact you had a few to help out I bet made it nice, too.

I like the clean up, does it captures the flour gold? Great video see you next video great adventure prospecting.
I have never ran a Le Trap sluice before but I do see a lot of people use them for a clean up sluice so I would say it does catch the fine gold to.
Sweet.
Thank you for watching and subscribing to my channel I hope you enjoy.
What is the texture like of that plastic sluice?
It's just smooth molded plastic it seems to do a good job a catching the gold it was my fist time using one.

Hello as far as I know they are still in business I saw Kelly put up a new post on Facebook the other day. Maybe he is out hunting right now.
Thank Alan for the quick response back. I will try them again in a week or so. Cheers
Gotta find alot of gold to pay for trommel but they sure are nice. Thanks
I would agree but the more dirt you can move the more gold you will find just my two cents worth.
I think your set up would give that trommel a run for its money
I think you are right. My new set up is working great.
This omni dohicky was alright .. but i still prefer the big al homemade hurdy gurdys ..😁
Thanks Rick I am partial to my hurdy gurdy clay buster trommel to. This was before I made my trommel.
