Fern, my white Boxer dog, is an accredited service dog under the 1992 DD act. She holds special access rights to be allowed to enter places most dogs cannot. This includes National Parks such as Chiltern Mt Piolet NP where Reedy Creek is located. Unless your dog is an accredited service animal they are not allowed to enter NP.

RIGHT. I've watched Chris for a number of years and the 1 thing that REALLY gets my hackles up are people who 'dislike' any of the this videos. AND before you start mouthing off; if you 'know and follow' this channel, at what point would you say you dislike it? And more importantly why? Is it because:
That he will get up at all hours (and inclimate weather within a degree) to pursue his hobby, regardless?
Is it he doesn't find enough gold to satisfy YOUR craving?
That he shows too many pics of doggie?

@@ScottishGoldHunter I made my keen a52 into one you lose abit if fine gold as you have to run it quite quick but you make up for it with the amount of gravel and rock you can move just shovelling onto the it

This may sound silly but I must share . I own a 2015 Mazda 6 ( used ) and couldn’t believe how much super fine black sand the Mazda car mats capture . The previous owner was rich and didn’t care about driving it on dirt roads in gold mining area ( Timmins Ontario Canada) .
After first hosing off the mats and then using a carpet cleaner , once dried out I was able to beat the mats with a long wrench and still removed a half cup of super fine sand . I would bet the Mazda floor mats would capture a lot of flower gold .
I used to detail cars for a living and I have never seen any other floor mats hold so much

There isn't, go back about 2 years in my videos and you'll see us refining this process with this highnanker on 200 mesh gold. It's dialed in, not loosing anything of concern.

Nice vid Chris. Have you ever thought to run v-rib mat under your miners moss to stop any losses, the flour gold from washing out from under the miners moss? I run it under the miners moss in my mini 6 inch sluice and have caught some nice flour gold in the v-ribs.
You don't loose gold underneath physically impossible. The dirt on the bottom is just it settling into the matting.

Hi Chris -wouldnt using the high banker in the middle of the creek make a bit of a mess - why not have tailings running onto grass etc first? I'm a rookie so any advice is appreciated
~In your larger nugget ground, I would have 3 or 4 small Hungarian type riffles at the 'end' of the sluice (not at the beginning of the sluice because that causes turbulence over the expanded metal).
~Or forget metal and use a plastic Le Trap or Angus MacKirk sluice instead (lighter weight and much easier clean-ups). I hand made a Le Trap highbanker and it is good on fine flour gold.
Best not to over think it and just keep digging, imho.

No mate. Not similar at all. The geology is wrong. No matter what method I use I could not replicate what Levi does because he's in a secondary gold feild and imnin a primary. That's the difference between nuggets or flour.

How many litres of water goes thrugh a minute? Just Found my first piece of gold here in Denmark (very small) 😀 so iam working on building a high banker. And i got a bilge pump that runs 97 liters a minute, and iam not sure if its enough or to much? Its pretty much the same size as you high banker... Anyways thx and gl

Its not. If you look closely you can see larger rocks on the run pushing the water to one side. These clear after a few seconds.
