Hell no. B13 and B13 Ultimatum were perfect as is. This American remake was trash. The character Paul plays in this is far from being the original character. Worst part of the movie

Paul Walker ruined this movie for me. American remakes of incredible movies just never happens to be good. In this case, it was horrible. Glad that David Belle was apart of it, but he was the only good part. The character Paul plays was way better played by the original. Made me miss him a hell of a lotXD RIP though, but this wasn’t his movie.
Paul was a hell of a good actor. A legend when it comes to action movies. He did great. Hardly ever a remake is better than the original so there isn't really much point in comparing.
@@elenasalvatore832 He’s a great actor, yes. But, only in specific types of action movies. If you look at the original movies, the guy Paul Walker plays was insane. His moves were great and he was in a very fit and agile state. He choreographed some of the great fight scenes that were in the movies, as well as having his own team of stuntmen who took the fall or hits and made them realistic. Paul Walker was not in any way built for the role of a super cop in fight/parkour scenes which the originals really went for. The American remake was trash and that was a big reason why. If you’ve seen the originals 1st, it’s sad. But if you haven’t, then you really wouldn’t know any better. But I suggest you watch them if you haven’t. My favorite series
@@traceurs619 Actually, if you look him up you'd see that he was actually one of the few actors in Hollywood who wanted to do his own stunts. He was a blackbelt in jiu-jitsu. The problem with Hollywood is that they won't let you do your own stunts - he complaned about it a lot. The reason is because , if a lead actor gets hurt on set - they have to pause production and that costs money so they'd rather play it safe.
As for Paul playing a cop, i actually quite enjoy him in that role. Have you seen Running Scared? That was also a good movie. My favorite movie that stared Paul Walker is Hours - completely different from anything he had done in the past. Highly recomend you to watch some of his other movies too.
In my previous comment i said that the remake is hardly ever better than the original so it is pointless to compare, meaning that there is no argument that the original is better. It's like turning a book into a movie. There is only a handful of movies that turned out better than the original book series that they were created from.
@@elenasalvatore832 Not all remakes are worse than the original. But in this case, it is. I’d rather leave Brick Mansions out completely when talking about this series. It’s usually the American remakes of foreign movies that tend to suck. He does great in regular American movies, though. Just wish he wasn’t in this particular movie.
@@traceurs619 agreed its not a knock on paul but just the fact damien in the orginal was a badass super cop who knew parkour almost better than david belles character… i still like this movie just because im a fan of paul
