I went on 9/11/24. I overall liked it. I premade the reservation but didn't reserve chairs. I was probably the 1st one there and was given a table with an umbrella in addition to a lounge chair right on the beach. I think I got lucky with the chair. The food at the buffet was ok I prefered the food they brought from the menu vs the buffet. The drinks seemed to lack alcohol IMO. I'm comparing that to the other beach day where after 3 drinks I couldn't feel my face 😂 I didn't even feel buzzed and drank several drinks. I really enjoyed the horseback riding I scheduled. It was through the woods that I was kind of nervous at 1st because we went through water from flooding and though sweet jesus is there snakes lol
Overall I enjoyed my day the resort was very low key you definitely had a busier day than when I was there. The restrooms were very clean, I had my picture taken with parrots as well. The service was amazing, they were very responsive to my emails. I would recommend the trip there I enjoyed it and the price was right. They do have a pharmacy there you can buy what ever you wanted it was crazy I was never in one before.

We have been to Nachi Cocom a couple of times. For me, if I want to just set/swim in a pool, I will stay on the ship when everyone else goes ashore. With a drink package, I get unlimited food and drinks by just staying on the ship! When we were younger, we were divers, so we went onshore in Cozumel to go diving. The point is that each person must determine what is best for them and their families. That said, this was an excellent review of Mr. Sancho's.

I always love your videos. Been to Cozumel many times since 1988. One of my favorite Port of calls. My favorite place in Cozumel now is the Del Mar Beach Club.

My wife and I went to Cozumel for the first time a month ago on MSC cruise line. We were looking for a place to go in Cozumel and found Mr. Sancho's. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a secluded, safe place to enjoy. The taxi ride I think was $8 a person, which we considered reasonable. We got there a little early and staked out a spot by the water. The staff was friendly and the food and alcohol plentiful. Having a nice long section of clean beach to enjoy was awesome. If we go back to Cozumel we'll definitely go here again.

Thanks for the review. I haven't been to Mr Sanchos. I always heard it was more of a party crowd vibe instead of a relaxing by the beach vibe so I avoided it. I really like Passion Island but you always get shorted on beach time because it takes so long to get there. My second favorite is Paradise beach. By the way, I changed my channel name. It used to be Cruise Vet. Have a great weekend!

I went a few years ago and that was accurate. We had a GREAT time
I just got back off Mariner of the Seas and did visit Paradise Beach Club, specifically, getting the upgrade 30 dollar premium liquor package. The drinks were good and one of my friends had the normal beach pass and I had the upgrade liquor, Is it worth it: the answer is NO, it is not worth the extra 30 dollar upgrade,. Even though they use better liquor, they have no Anejo tequilas, they do not use any premium triple sec, Cointreau, Grand Marnier or the like, So by using the same mixers that are okay and using general triple sec, the overall difference is very nominal between the two different margaritas on the rocks. So to spend an extra 30 dollars per person is just not worth it. Otherwise, Paradise Beach Club was wonderful and we had great time. The food was outstanding. Would go back again just not adding the 30 dollars for premium liquor

I just was there in December Mr Sancho's and when I was in the pool they were fresh water so I don't know if they just recently changed things but that doesn't sound accurate

She was very busy naming every single item in the buffet. Just remember it’s nine minutes to eight am.
We do not enjoy Mexico and try to avoid any and all cruises going there. The “we make it up as we go along” mentality of every petty official at the border, the taxi stand, the hotels, the restaurants, etc. is just worn out now. The food, beverage and alcohol is suspect anywhere near tourist areas.
We're Nachi Cocum people but we wanted to try Mr Sanchos. We hated it. We did have loungers, but there was no beach. Like it showed in your video, the loungers went down to the water line. The day we went was crowded and rowdy. Maybe there were more ships in port that day. We found the drinks watered down. The food was meh... The music was so loud we had a hard time carrying on conversations.

Great video! We have always been seated at a table suited for dining rather than lounging. We find that's the norm there, and sometimes it is so crowded you can't even make your way to the beach/water. Mr. Sanchos was much, much worse when smoking was allowed on the beach. No matter where we were seated, we quickly became surrounded by smokers, many just carrying chairs over from somewhere and crowding around us to join another group. This completely destroyed our experiences. The new no public smoking laws help (they do have a smoking area), but Mr. Sanchos is just not our cup of tea, either. 🛳💜
