Do a video on middle eastern beauty standards? Women: light olive smooth skin, small high (not fussed if it's crooked) nose, full pink lips, full pink cheeks, curvier body type not too skinny, smooth long thick black hair, arched slim dark brows, long neck, big defined dark almond eyes (although light-eyes have their charm). Biggest focus I'd say is hair and eyes. My mother almost cried when I cut my hip length hair to my chin. There's also a big difference between the gulf and the rest of the middle-east, since they are much more western Kardashian influenced. As for the rest with the standards I just said, it's not very influenced by the West and has been the same for centuries- we were never really colonized (except for a few French influenced areas of Lebanon that try to be as European as possible lmao). I spoke with others of my background in the comment section of your South-Asian video and we all had the exact same ideas of the standard. For reference, my family is from Sana'a, Yemen, whose women don't allow the world to even see what they look like, let alone influence their appearance (safe to say I have about 15 girl cousins and they are so so beautiful, yall are missing out lmao). In terms of skin colour which is always a hot topic, priority is that it's bright and flawless as yours can be, (a LOT of emphasis on hair removal and exfoliation and oils, we are obsessed with hammams), we don't lighten it but we're advised not to tan and stay out of the sun. Our skin can get dull/yellow as olive skin can, if we don't take care of it and exfoliate/moisturize, and in terms of tanning I turn a funny ashy grubby colour so I look much better when I don't. I'm peak attractive during winter lmao. Most comment I get from my mother is 'where did your chubby cheeks go, your face is too skinny', 'put on blush', 'put on lipstick', 'put on weight or you'll fly away', 'please let me scrub you in the shower your elbows are so dark' 'MOISTURIZE!', 'GET OUT OF THE SUN!', 'HOW HAS YOUR HAIR STILL NOT GROWN YOU'RE SO UGLY NOW'. ;)
I had alopecia as a kid and lost ( a lot of hair and ) my eyebrows so every day I pretty much recreate them however I can . My teen brows were drawn too thick and shiny horrendous . The tails are still missing but now better products give better results and with practice via tutorials I'm doing ok . I still wish they'd grow back lol . It's insane how some days I'll think I look pretty and other days not so much , all because of what kind of brows I manage to create . Ugh .
At 5:53 you indicate that the inner part of the eyebrow should be in line with the outer part of the nostril for that standard. Actually, a lot of the eyebrow standards appear this way. What about African faces, which tend to have broader noses? Does this standard work across ethnicities with different nose breadths, or is this specific to some ethnicities?
Good observation, it does, the major difference for African faces is that they have much more curved shapes rather than sharp and angular arches for both men and women, but the eyebrows form in proportion to the eyes and unless they have unusually sized eyes, there's no reason the brow proportion wouldn't apply there too. For virtually every face, save a few supermodel exceptions, the brow extends past the nose wing by a few small mm so it isn't the biggest facial determinant, whether you're African, Caucasian or otherwise.
All of these eyebrow shapes fail to take into account the existence of wider noses, with the Westmore, Lamas, and Schreiber being the worst. If you pluck the medial ends of your eyebrows so that they're vertically in line with a wide nose wing, you'll end up with a massive gap between the medial ends of both eyebrows that looks both bizarre, throwing off the proportions of all the other facial features from one another.
I came to know the difference eyebrows provide to the face as an artist. They can be a statement, like Frieda Kahlo's or signify masculinity and femininity very well. They are a whole expression by themselves.
Haven't seen the whole video yet, but there's no 1 perfect Eyebrow ideal. If you put Audrey Hepburn's eyebrows to Angelina Jolie her face wouldn't look right. They're both beautiful with two completely different brow shapes
Measuring the front of the brow to the side of the nostril doesn’t always work if you have a wide nose, it’s better to go from somewhere in between the outside of the nostril and the inside edge of that nostril. Those few millimetres can make a big difference.
QOVES studio at least you mentioned the length of the eyebrows maybe do a video of the length of the orbital bones which relates to the length of the eyebrows. Eyebrows always tend to follow the brow bone, the longer the eyebrows, the elongated the orbital bones. E.g Zachery Quinto & Ralph Finnes have a very long eyebrows which you can realize have longer orbital bones
Has anyone else noticed that people with good eye areas particularly males always have similar brows aka the desired brows as stated in the video? Very noticeable. I wonder if they go hand in hand.
i’m curious about the other 8 types of ideal eyebrow geometries; magazines usually spout the same one way to draw the perfect brow. What are your source materials?? thanks for great content! 🇨🇦
I shaved my brows off a month ago and almost no one noticed. I was hanging on to those stragglers for years. There are some amazing 4D rub on tattoo brows I might try because drawing them on always looked so bad on me. But I also kind of like my face without them.
I naturally have eyebrows similar to Audrey Hepburn’s. It was always the most prominent feature on my face because of its thickness, it’s sharp angular curve and my eyebrows are also black despite my natural hair colour being auburn. I found that my eyebrows were not feminine looking at all. I almost felt like I looked like a cartoon villain because the curve was THAT dramatic. For years now I have been plucking my eyebrows to almost half the size of what they are and have plucked a bit of the top too so that it’s a less dramatic curve. I am perfectly happy with them now! Thick eyebrows certainly do not suit all faces. I have soft rounded feminine features so my untouched eyebrows did not suit me by any means.

A lot of people already knew the importance of eyebrows for the expression of feelings tho.
This is the only video where my confidence wont completely vanish
I have naturally thin and arched eyebrows and so does my mother, so doing the thick bushy soap brows that are trendy rn are gonna be hard lol
Haven't seen the whole video yet, but there's no 1 perfect Eyebrow ideal. If you put Audrey Hepburn's eyebrows to Angelina Jolie her face wouldn't look right. They're both beautiful with two completely different brow shapes
hmm.. you guys really deserve more view. This is gold.
Cant get enough of this channel. Fascinating. Thanks
Measuring the front of the brow to the side of the nostril doesn’t always work if you have a wide nose, it’s better to go from somewhere in between the outside of the nostril and the inside edge of that nostril. Those few millimetres can make a big difference.
I think there’s no “perfect” eyebrow shape. People suit different shapes based on facial and bone structure. Imo, all types are beautiful
true but some are deemed as more attractive

Arjun Rampal- The Male Model in the thumbnail, a famous Bollywood Indian Actor 😀
Dude, I like your voice. Like really. How about something about the voice and how it affect people’s perception?
This reinforces that my eyebrows were not only over-tweezed, uneven and and ugly ...but they also made me so much uglier 😣😣😣
We need an episode about facial scars, idk i feel they add attractiveness.
Yess definitely!!!
Definitely not
How?? What is there to say about facial scars...
@@luana-wj2sr idk its weird since it is odly attractive to many people

NICE eyebrows are my favorite facial feature
I would love to see a video you about foreheads and chins!
Thank you for the free trial 😊 great video btw!
I actually love low eyebrows in women. People like adriana Lima have very low "masculine" eyebrows. It's very attractive.
Like eva green
This made me feel better, my eyebrows are relatively close to my eyes making me look masculine and bitchy☠️
WHEN ARE U GONNA DO SOUTH EAST ASIAN BEAUTY
YESSSSS !!!!
@@MariaClara-kh8ny I know you're filipina,I just know it
Omg I was waiting for this too. South east Asian beauty
yessss been waiting for it agh
Yesss!
I have dark and bushy brows, but I plug them a lot because I’m blonde and i feel like it suits me better
Love your channel!
yaay eyebrows vid thanks qoves
I clicked on this so hard when I saw Arjun Rampal on the cover 😍
wtf I just typed "qoves eyebrows" to see if he made a video on this... turns out he did... 5 hours ago :D
I’m very attractred to thick James Dean eyebrows on men 😍
Arjun Rampal 😭😭❤️❤️😭😭😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Has anyone else noticed that people with good eye areas particularly males always have similar brows aka the desired brows as stated in the video? Very noticeable. I wonder if they go hand in hand.
Never notice anyone eyebrow. For a while i didn’t even realize Christian Koenigsegg had no eyebrows
Keep at it love the videos 💪🏾
i’m curious about the other 8 types of ideal eyebrow geometries; magazines usually spout the same one way to draw the perfect brow. What are your source materials?? thanks for great content! 🇨🇦
i love this channel
I shaved my brows off a month ago and almost no one noticed. I was hanging on to those stragglers for years. There are some amazing 4D rub on tattoo brows I might try because drawing them on always looked so bad on me. But I also kind of like my face without them.
Bruh what 🧐
Life tip: When you have deep set eyes, high eyebrow would look ridiculous on you. It isn´t worth of more place for eyeshadows or eyeliner.
Nina Dobrev ☹️
Mesmerizing narration and accent
Hence I've gorgeous brows
I just plucked my eyebrows last night and this video gets recommended NOW!!?
Megan Fox and Kim Kardashian have my favorite eyebrows. Men with thick but tamed eyebrows are so attractive to me.
For me, Sean O'Pry has the best set of eyebrows.
Finally,I have an attractive feature
I know sisters that are very alike but their brows definitely makes a difference in their "beauty"
