    I am amazed at this arborist confidence, There is much to be learned by watching this complicated giant tree removal.
    Thanks for the video.

    The first time I saw a tree person cut down a tall ever green tree up in Seattle , my children and I were glued to the sliding glass door in amazement at how that guy just shimmied up that tree and would send down small sections💝☺ we were from New Mexico so had never ever seen that before 💝☺ two little kids and their mom with our faces glued to the sliding glass door in amazement we were 💝☺

      No timber here, but can swing a hatchet. Just not very good. Man that was some job, the way that tree branched out everywhere!
      Always feel relieved when you'd get back on the ground. Quite a monumentous task!

    You are doing a fine job 💝 Reg was commenting on one vid that a piece of a tree he was bringing down would make really good boards for the saw mill but to cut it that long was just to dangerous and not worth the risk. He watches the clouds too see if wind is coming too , ELOHIM YAHWEH 💝our CREATOR made you all to be able to do stuff like that and even acess the potential for a wrong cut ECT and praying you guys all are safety first 💝☺

      It's known as yellow poplar in the east US.... liriodendron tulipefera. were once recorded as tall as 220 feet. Very fast growing, weak wood..not as bad as tru poplars, populus--cottonwood, aspen, etc

      We have tulip trees here in western Canada known for their large flowers that usually blossom out before the leaves come out. Have never seen any even close to that height though ~ looks like a different type of tree.

    Nice work, the only thing I didn't like was that huge gash in your climbing line, just get a new one. That mistake at 21 was awesome and i had something similar happen to me once, nearly avoided a hot tub. I'm glad no one got hurt and no major damage.

    Hello, I like seeing how you deal with all the rigging, because it's still a bit confusing for an amateur such as myself. What is the reason you drop the long limbs with lots of branches by rope but let the huge, heavy limbs fall into the ground? Are they too heavy for the rope to slow their fall? Don't you need the rope person on the ground to pull the big limbs quickly away from you so they don't come back at you (for example back leaner limbs )? Also, I assume the heavy limbs put huge dents in the yard. Do you have to regrade the land after you're finished falling the tree? I enjoy watching your work; I just have a lot of questions on technique. Thanks.

    • @NZarboristBryce
      @NZarboristBryce  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      wandaw Hi thanks for the interestin my videos. Rigging the long branches was done to avoid the concrete wall, small white fence and to stop them getting hung in the other smaller trees. The lawn wasnt an issue so I was able to bomb out everything else big. When rigging you want to possition yourself so you arnt in the firing line of the return swing, and make sure the groundsman knows to let it run so that if it does swing back it is below you.

    • @wandawTube
      @wandawTube 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for elucidating. It's fun to watch the "bomb out" heavy limbs drop and hit the ground. Once I learn more and get the right equipment, I look forward to doing that one day.

    how much you think all those ropes hanging on his belt and gear weigh

    • @jjj87484
      @jjj87484 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It would be fair to say a few pounds per rope, depending on how high he is and the diameter. 200' of rope is like 10 or 15 pounds. Normally you won't need to have more than two or three at any given time. The saw and big rigging systems are the heaviest things you'll have in a tree.
