Been a bit of a crappy day today, a surprise STH was just the tonic, thanks all. A pretty great episode too, lots of fun and drama. Love these hunts, I've seen every one of them more than once and long may they last.

Amy had a nice TH-camr suggest that using Flivers instead of Prii’s would make a fun alternative 😂 plus it torments you a tiny little bit. Sorry Crane, it just had to be suggested with it being your favourite car these days

The limo at 26:15 gave me the scare of my life. For real though, this is one of the best Survive the Hunts we've ever had. The spawn set being so whacky and just having everything be completely different. FiveM STH is peak
This was a good one. But my favorites are still pre- 5M. There was the one where it was titled “survive the hunt the movie” because it was extra long, the one where Alex jumped over a hedge and happened to land next to a pri, the one where Brazen drove a trash truck into the storm drain, the one where the blimp got caught in the bridge, the one where Alex and a hunter had a really embarrassing shootout in the subway station! Many of those go back a long ways. I actually miss the first 15 hunts where the hunters had helicopters. Survive the hunt so great, and it’s crazy to have been watching it since #2.
@rem45acp I think there were better STHs than this one, but as a whole I think the molded ones are better. I've been watching for a while and that might play into it, but these feel fresh, especially this one since it brought back some of the fear and suspense I had when I first started watching

This was first class! Although I do miss the more ‘sneak around’ or ‘stealthy’ ones, rather than blowing up Priis one after another on the run. Maybe a variant where you can only blow a Prii up if not in a chase?

You know what I would love to see, but it would never happen? The hunters having no limits... But the survivor being DarkviperAU, who is allowed to use every bit of his game knowledge to cheese, including out of bounds

Love this series but I think Alex's wins would be more satisfying if all Priis/targets had to be destroyed. The time limit rule feels too strict; I would have liked to see this hunt continue until Alex definitively wins or dies trying. Maybe after 24 in-game hours, hunters should have access to better weapons and supercars, making the time limit a source of tension instead of a win condition.
Alex, you never looked so good in gym gear with a hoodie tied about your waist. Oh my!
My guess is walking as an npc is more comfusing for the hunters then directly speeding away. And another pro-tip is learn alleyways. It gives you more time to find another car :) But enjoying the series alot!

The hunters were actually pretty efficient in this, they just forgot that they shouldn't chase you down dark, winding residential streets where cars can't go.

This video has got me thinking that much like with normal racing games, high speed is not strictly conducive to more entertainment. I really liked this setup. On paper it sounds like normal STH but slower, but actually it twists the dynamics in ways that made surviving more intense.
In this case it takes more consistency to build a significant enough gap that you can break the pursuit. The slower chase gives hunters precious additional time to coordinate around your choices. The distinct cars made incognito more accessible in the short term, because if everything looks weird nothing looks weird, but this also makes it infeasible to perform incognito long term in a single vehicle.
What an absolute treat!
ooooh, a silly survive the hunt! Loved it! Since you can do custom car sets in 5M, what about a STH where all traffic cars are pink Priis, and you have the blow up cool cars? Alex and the hunters are allowed to have upgraded priis but they're just visually pink priis too.
The canal shooting shenanigans has to become a whole game mode of its own. THAT was an actual hunt.

Silly version of survive the hunt, with the weather conditions causing chaos for cinema theatricals and carnage from start to finish
Crane's brief appearance in the chase gave me an idea: why not reward Crane's persistence in driving a fliver by adding a bomb onboard 💣? Just one explosion per game. One chance to wreak a havoc that may end the game or turn the tides in an unexpected way. Because such bomb would have additional cost - it would eliminate anybody (except Crane himself) from the game under any circumstances.

This was super fun, you have to do more like this. Also hunters should be able to respawn after a couple of minutes when killed by you, gets to easy otherwise

My wife suggests a modded STH where every vehicle is two-wheeled. Also, great video!
Might be a risk, but one of these times Alex should try a bail and let them chase an empty vehicle till it crashes, or they find an empty vehicle if he is far enough ahead. They may even mistake him flopping around if they are too close as him having hit a pedestrian. Who knows
ejecting into the water e.g. by the side of a canal would be ideal for that
Idea: A bit of role reversal. Hunters have gun advantage ( except bombs, boopy and launchers ) HOWEVER, they cannot upgrade their cars. Alex gets car advantage from the outset obviously without penalty BUT he must exit the car to use the sticky bombs. Midway through a person ( like in the taskmaster variants ) signals a 5 minute switch - Which Alex decides via text - Then HE has gun advantage and the hunters are automobile free )
When they're full of action like this one, these beat anything on the tele.
some parts of the canals may be too shallow for diving, but you can always consult experts such as bumpy and laddo
