The thing I love the most about this podcast , it almost always confirms my suspicions about the famous people I am drawn to and follow which are very few, and mostly comedians tbh ,that they are just cool people the kind with fun and interesting stories that you actually want to listen to lol, time spent with them seems to disappear and you always feel good after being with them ,the two of you are that way and it’s why I watch this ,I adore your parents , but you don’t have to tell them that 😂😂😂 I’m 59 in a couple months I hope when I grow up I’m as cool as they are ! And it’s not just comedians, I think all the people that come and share with you are pretty much the same type of person, those with a good sense of humor,a lot of determination, and a real desire to have fun and enjoy life ,and realize that it really is on a small and much grander scale, the trips in this life , the ups and downs the funny and the sad of every day , or that 3 weeks abroad ,or a week at the beach or wherever that someday you will miss and you can’t get them back, so enjoy them as you go , and tell the stories so the kids Do remember, even if it’s just your memories , I promise that matters too Seth , thank you guys for allowing me a guaranteed escape from reality I think we all need that right now 💚
Also forgot to say how much I like and respect Jim and his comedy career💚🤎💚 I’ve followed him so long and it’s really great to spend an hour just hanging out with him and confirming what I’ve always suspected … he’s a pretty cool guy !
Fun, funny conversation guys. The skiing bits are so funny and true. For me skiing was like surfing..true thrill, control, danger, yet supreme feeling of human achievement. Peace and Love Y'all
This episode is one of my very very favorites! I’m trying to put on my warpaint (makeup 🤪) and …at this point in my process… I look like Joan Crawford in Mommy Dearest because I’m laughing sooooooo hard!
As a former ski patroller, I can say that the attraction of skiing is what Jerry Seinfeld noticed about the Slip 'N Slide. If you do it right, then you cease making any effort, yet forward motion continues.
I’m the #4 of 7, and there were several families in our Parish who had 9, but 6 or 7 was just the going rate. When my youngest brother was an infant the Church started doing those Year Books, and if you only had two kids it looked like you weren’t really trying. 😄 It was a VERY different world.
We had four kids and a pool pass for the summer. One bottle of Coppertone between us. Shedding like snakes was a family affair. When my dermatologist asks if I ever got a serious burn…literally lol.
this is also available as audio only on other platforms. much like other podcasts that also post on youtube, this platform doesn't get pushed as much as the usual spotify and apple
😂😂 hey Jim Gaffigan, if your relatives have brown hair, then you have yellow hair. If you’re blonde and they are brunette. So don’t forget your yellow hair!😂😂😂
I went to China in 2015 and people wanted to take pictures with me because I look like the love child of two movie stars. They also wanted to take pictures with my Black friend, because she's Black.
When I was in China, people gawked at me. I remember eating rice and chicken in a tea house and the people next to me leaned WAAAAY in to watch me eat.
I do love this podcast, and you have some great guests, but please, please, please, can we maybe have more people of color? If I see another middle-aged white man I’ll scream. And then probably listen to the interview anyway to be honest. But please have Amber from Seth’s work, or Keenan, from Seth’s old work, or Leslie Jones…so many options…
Amber and Leslie have been on!! Their episodes were done before they started posting on YT. Definitely need a Kenan episode. Jon Batiste, Quinta Brunson, Robin Thede would be other good guests.
Love the show! Requesting Kathleen Madigan as a possible guest. She is hilarious and I know she will have some great stories.
OMG YAS! ❤❤❤ Kathleen
Yes! Yes! Yes! PLEASE invite Kathleen Madigan!!!
Second that….her family trip to Paris is a hilarious tale.
So cool that the family split up to visit different countries. Spared the adults and gave the kids personal time. Great episode.

Have you guys thought of or tried to get Rick Steves to interview on the podcast?
Totally agree!!!!!!!
Day drinking with Jim? Yes, please!
OMG, please!!!

Congratulations Josh and McKenzie!! Loved the article and photos in People. Wishing you both a wonderful life together.
The speed in which I went to @people mag to check out those pics! Gasp- the open back on that dress was stunning
Me too - started podcast then had to go to grocery store!
I’ve been wondering about the rebuttal episode

"Not in the script, but, you asked for it." Killer line
I’ve loved Jim since he sang “Friends” with Flight of the Conchords in 2009 😂❤
So so good!!

52:54 love this bit. I once asked my mother why she had 7 children. Her reply, “go ask your father!”
I grew up with 5 siblings, Catholic family. I thought we had a small family. Many of my cousins had 9 or more kids.

Haven't watched in a while.. no more summary song at the end??
The Time! 😂😂😂
Very entertaining
Can you interview Daniel Tosh ? 😊 Or be on his podcast
Please, what is the name of the Finnish or Danish game that Seth and Josh enjoy - looking for a Christmas gift!

Where is Josh’s fun song at the end?? I miss it
My husband got snipped 3 weeks after my 2nd kid. No oopsie 3rd or oh F@&k 4th. He’s lucky he got two out of me.
This is my first episode and I can't believe this has only 5,000 views

I was a little disappointed that there wasn't any That ’70’s Show dialogue.

20 years ago was a good time to come to China, definitely don’t come here now if not absolutely necessary.
Also the Great Wall is as magnificent as Trump’s border wall.

Is the Trump stink still sticking to Gaffigan?
No more Jim Gaffigan for me. He was at a roast/show for drumpf. I'm out.
It was not “For Trump”, it was a charity event. He’s been vocally anti-Trump on social media.
