Watching you dig up that big piece, round metal , reminded me how my love for detecting started. Many years ago, mom and dad had a detector and would bring it to an old Indian Mill in Ohio where us kids would swim and we would picnic on a blanket. One weekend dad “hit” on something in an old dry creek bed. It was a strong signal. He started digging and digging, the circumference of the hole was almost 4 ft square. He just knew he had found a trunk! As us kids got excited, he kept digging, 3 ft down, a group of people gathered. Men offered to jump in the hole and help. They would take turns. Everyone wanted to be a part in bringing up the treasure chest. Finally someone hit something solid and metal. Dad made everyone get out and he jumped in. After all, it was “his treasure” and he wanted to pull it free. What started out as a family of 7 on a picnic, turned into a crowd of almost 20 people, all talking, laughing and encouraging dad to “be careful “ as to not damage this treasure, but to “dig faster” After what seemed like forever, but was most likely about 15 minutes, he was able to get his hands on the “handle” and started pulling with all his strength. As It finally came free, dad flew backwards with his treasure landing in his lap. An old rusty BBQ GRATE! 🤣🤣 we all had a great laugh, and from then on, I vowed to “one day find dads treasure for him” He is gone now, but I will not give up looking for “his treasure”
Thanks Dave. The landowner is gonna have to start paying me for all this trash removal I'm doing! Lol. The silver coins are really starting to show up though. Got 6 this week out of this yard, all 40's and 50's. Not that I'm complaining but I miss my 1800's items so I'm gonna move on to another site for now. I'll save this place for a rainy day or when a friend wants to find interesting stuff. Take care buddy
I have not swung a MD in years. I am now retired and and giving serious consideration to getting back into the sport. Your videos are inspiring. Thanks for the fun..
It is the hobby of champions. Well, ok that might be overstating it a bit, but it is fun to see what interesting and sometimes valuable objects are below your feet. Don't know if you still have your detector or not but give it a shot on a free day and see what happens. Warning though, it gets addicting fast! Best of luck out there.
Haha. Thanks man. I was super psyched when I hit that spill but there were some people not far from me so I was trying to keep a low profile. This spot has so much trash that I was super happy to dig anything I could even recognize! Appreciate you stopping by my friend.
Great hunt Brother it's always a great thing the fine silver coins. Thank you for commenting on my videos and happy hunting I look forward to watching your channel.
Well guys well get back, daawwhhpp hold on there's another, aww geez another! Super great video! All that work is worth it to jump on board with a silver quarter!!
Lol .... thanks buddy. This was a great silver coin spill for me. I thought for sure there was at least 2 coins down there but they just kept coming out. Probably won't get one like that again for a while. Take care and thanks for stopping by.
You sure got a mix of finds that time! That item that resembled a putter reminds me of the old wing window opener from an old car. It would make sense as you have so many other small car parts as well. A putter wouldn't be open on the top. The piece you thought was a little bell may be a ball button. Loved that coin spill at the start of the video! The bowling pin charm was very random! You never know! Enjoyed the video. Take care!
You are right about the car handle. When it was fresh out of the ground and all dirty I thought it might be a putter but once it was cleaned it seemed more car handle to me too. The coin spill was a great one for me and the bowling pin charm, well, that was just weird! Lol. You just never know what's gonna come out of the ground I guess. Take care Robyn and thanks for stopping by.
Thanks. You know I normally prefer the older 1800's stuff but a 6 silver day was not a bad trade off! Lol. Thanks for much for stopping by. Also, for some reason I thought I was subbed to you but I guess I wasn't. Anyway, I just did so my apologies for that. Not sure what happened. Take care.
Quarter Hoarder Razor blade is a one thin piece of blade. It use to be sold in a box of blades. Very thin and goes in Top of razor blade holder. US Virgin Islands.
Nice hunt! That Rosie, Merc, and Wheat spill was awesome!! Your excitement was like a kid on x-mas lol. You are quite a trooper for digging in that place with all those signals as hot as it was! And it payed off! Congrats on the 52 Washington, Merc, and Rosie you sniffed out of there also. Cool Thimble, Razor, and Bowling Charm! Lots of cool stuff there! Nice work! GL & HH, Jerimy
Thanks Jerimy. Silver spills are on my endangered species list. I get one every 2 years or so, so it does make me a little excited to stumble into one. The finds aren't as epic as your last hunt but I'm easy to please nonetheless. lol. Take care man and thanks for stopping by.
Thanks Kia. I am trying to add more pre-dig footage to my videos so people can appreciate the tones. Glad I'm not the only one that likes them. Appreciate you stopping by. What kind of detector do you use?
Would be awesome to see more vids with showing tones before you dig, it's amazing how much you can learn from just hearing the sounds each machine makes, plus it's fun to try and guess lol. I have a minelab safari and love it, very musical machine though.
+Kia R When I first started I always enjoyed videos where you could hear the tones and see the VDI's. My newest video that will go live on Monday was already recorded but after that I'll make it a point to add that in.
Very cool Silver Coin spill. Nice Merc, Rosies and Silver Washington. I believe you got a ball button...very cool. I got a nice complete one. The single blade razor part is very cool. I'm old enough to remember using those. You twist the stem of the razor and it opens up to put in a razor blade with two edges. Great hunt Jason. Enjoyed the video as always. Happy Hunting My Friend
Thanks Johnny. I did research that razor and I understand how it works now. Believe me, I'm no young buck but for some reason I guess I just never had one of those. Thanks for the tip on the ball button too. I've had a few people say the same thing so I guess that's what it is. I thought it was more like a cat's collar bell but I've been wrong plenty of times before. Lol. Thanks again for watching and take care my friend.
Nice sliver haul! Well worth the effort. I hope you have more than that little hand tool for digging. After watching a few Dig That Beep videos I bought the Lesche T- Handle Heavy Duty Metal Detecting Shovel with Serrated Blade from Amazon. My back thanks me for it every diggin session. Worth every cent. Keep up the good work.
Thanks buddy. Yes I do have a large Predator Piranha shovel that I use in the woods and farm lands a lot. It can be intimidating though to private land owners when they see that monster. I've found that it makes people more at ease that I'm not gonna destroy the place when they only see the small Lesche. My knees are still doing ok so I don't mind digging it all with the little guy for now. Ask me again in a few years and I might be singing a different tune! Lol. Take care man.
You are right about that. My plan was to just start removing the top layer of trash and then stumbled into a silver spill. You just never know I guess. Thanks for stopping by and take care
I was watching your video when you commented on ours...Spooky. Nice digs. Gotta love when those silvers keep coming. You may be the first to dig a manhole cover, Lol. Ps John still uses his razor from the 20's.
Haha. I felt bad because I called the Razor "old" and Johnny said he still uses his! Lol. He's hilarious that guy. The manhole cover was gonna go in the trash but my wife liked the design and it is now a stepping stone in our garden! Go figure.... Take care guys and best of luck out there.
Great video. Nice coin spill, all old stuff. I love watching your videos, i can and have learned a lot. Keep up the good work and hunts. Take care and HH.
Thanks man. This was my best silver coin spill in a long time. Quite a lot of crazy stuff in this yard. I'm sure I'll hit it again but for now I think I'll move on to another place. My arms need a rest! Lol. Take care buddy
Congrats on the silvers, that was a sweet coin spill. The handle looks like the latch off of a vent window from a car from the 50's or 60's. The razor is like one that I learned to shave with. The handle would unscrew and the top piece would lift off and then a flat double sided razor blade would be fitted between them and the handle replaced. Enjoyed the video Jason.
Thanks Jerry. The razor was really cool. I had to Google how it actually worked but now I get it. Man I wish the handle wasn't broken off, but I guess that why the guy threw it in the trash (well, his yard was the trash I guess) lol. You might be right about the car handle too. I found a lot of car parts from the 40's and 50's at this spot. Super trashy area but at least it kept me busy! Take care my friend and thanks for stopping by.
I did find out after I posted the video that it was indeed a ball button. I never heard of one of those before so that was a nice discovery for me. Thanks for helping with the ID and I appreciate you stopping by.
I like the older 1800's properties better but most of mine are deep in the woods and just too overgrown in the summer. I'll weed through and remove the surface trash and then this might be a good spot Thanks for stopping by buddy
U got dig alll the junk to find the good targets, that what I say al the time, cause the big junk will mask little stuff like a coin . the round ball looks like a round button nice silver finds GL & HH !
Thanks buddy. I think I'll go back again but I may take a little time away and try another site. My arms are still tired from digging so much trash! Lol. Take care man
Thanks man. I don't get many silver spills, especially near the surface like that. Virgin ground at least but man it is littered with trash. Take care buddy.
Great video. Will subscribe. I just started this hobby. Will continue uploading my videos in spring. It has been -13 Fahrenheit with 12" of snow last week Hope to see more of you videos.
Thanks. Lots of targets but mostly trash. Still better than dealing with all the overgrowth and ticks in the woods right now though! Lol. Take care and thanks for stopping by.
EARTH ANGEL. HI! THE SMALL ROUND OBJECT IS AN OLD BUTTON! THE HOLE IN THE BACK IS WHERE THE THREAD WENT THROUGH TO ATTACH IT TO THE MATERIAL.ENJOYED YOUR DIG, AND THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!!
You are correct about that that Judine. I researched it afterwards and it is called a ball button. Never heard of one before that day. Thanks for the ID help and I appreciate you stopping by.
Thanks buddy. I did reshow the Speedo dash in this wrapup since now I knew what it was! I gave you credit of course for that awesome ID. Thanks gain for that. Take care my friend.
Thanks Sean. Those silver spills are an endangered species for me too. I'd still trade it for a plot of land with large cents though. I just like the 1800's stuff better. My old sites are all in the woods and it is so overgrown right now I'm forced out to newer pastures. I'll take when I'm given for now but waiting patiently for winter! Take care man.
I was right, you were blessed with some goodies !!! I noticed quite a few plumbing parts and the big round plate with holes is a dead head on a water main. it would cap a end with bolts. (plumber by trade) great job !!! It's been hot and humid here too. yuck
I figured it was some sort of bolted down lid but I wasn't sure what. A dead head main, wow thanks for the ID man. It's now been converted to a stepping stone in my wife's garden! Lol. Take care.
Great hunt! That was lots of work but it paid off for you. I'm thinking that handle is from the interior of an old car. Enjoyed the video. GL&HH, Jerry
Thanks for stopping by Terry. I think it is a car handle too although someone commented that it might be off an old refrigerator which also makes sense based on the size. I usually like the older 1800's properties but this was a new permission and thought I'd give it a go. Lots of trash but easy swinging in the grass. Take care man and best of luck to you out there.
Thanks buddy. I've been fortunate to get access to some new spots recently and that makes all the difference. Virgin land is always nice to come by, just a lot of trash to weed through for the good stuff! Lol. Take care
Thanks James. I did Google it later and found out how they worked. I found that the actually still make them today too, probably more of a collectible or for nostalgia purposes though. Appreciate you watching and thanks for stopping by.
Nice amount of cool stuff you found there and that spill was great! Maybe go over there with a snipercoil? Might pick up some more silvers then ;) Thnx for sharing it was fun to watch :)
There is quite a mess of items under the ground there. I have sniper coil so maybe if I go back again I've give it a run. I never get tired of digging silver coins! Take care buddy
I Love your videos! For Xmas my husband hook'd me up with ALL the metal detecting equipment a girl could need (I have the same hat as you) including a case to carry it all in. but so far I've only found junk cans and a lot of darn foil. Your videos are my motivation to get back out there and find the good stuff. I'm hoping one day I figure out the good sounds from the bad?? Have a great day and Thank You!
When you first start, remember there are no bad sounds. Dig as many of the sounds as you can and you'll start to mentally make a list of what things sound like what. It's really the only way to get an understanding and learn the machine. I'm sure you'll find some cool stuff and I hope you let me know.
Thanks buddy. I have a few spots where I always do well with modern 40's and 50s silver, but man I miss the old 1800's coins. I would take an 1800's indian penny over a silver Rosie almost any day. I'm probably the oddball in that but I just love the old stuff. Take care man and happy hunting
The piece that you originally thought was a putter is actually the flush handle off an old toilet my grand parents had a matching one in their house when I was a young lad...
you knocked the silver dead , Jason ... Nice! ... Maybe that acorn thing is a ball button ?? I don't know just saying ..Always watching when your vids come out... Take care buddy Jim B
Thanks Jim. I've had a few people all say that small bell was a ball button so I have to believe that is true. I've never heard of a ball button before so I learned something new today. I thought it might have been a cat's collar bell but I've been wrong plenty of times before. Lol. Thanks for stopping by and for the ID help too. Take care buddy.
You know, I am fortunate to live in an area where I do find a lot of silver dime, quarters, and Indians cents. I have never found a single large cent or 3-ring bullet and I've seen guys pull them out like pull tabs so those would be my shickles! Lol. Thanks for stopping by and just subbed your channel. Always nice to find other digger channels so happy hunting to you as well!
great hunt i'd love to find a yard like that. i did find my 1st barber dime a 1905. in my yard which i know i've been over at least 2 times completely. my bucket list is humongous still.
I find a lot of "spills" too. Unfortunately, they're nail spills, not coin spills. I find a ton of keys, too, for some reason. (And don't forget all the can openers!) At least you got a decent haul of coinage. Congrats!
Thanks man. Silver spills are on the endangered species list so this was a rarity for me too! I've dug my share of nails and bottle caps to last a lifetime. At least they make me appreciate when I get something decent! Lol. Thanks for stopping by and take care buddy.
You might be right about that. After looking at it more carefully I think it is either a side handle or maybe a handle off an old refrigerator. Thanks for the ID help and I appreciate you stopping by
To me it looks like you dug up the remaining items left over from someone's washroom renovation. The big iron plate looks like a sewer pipe cover- the item you called a putter looks like a toilet flush lever and the old razor is what's left of a safety razor- the bottom piece on the handle would unscrew opening the razor up and you'd put a flat bendable razor blade in it. It was a lot safer shaving with it than a straight razor was- although still very dangerous (I know from past experience as I took off many chunks of skin with them).
what you call the "lug nut" and "piece of brass from the leg of a chair" kinda looks like moonshine still parts. Also the "razor" is the end piece of a razor that uses replaceable blades. I might be wrong but I think you"ll think its worth looking into
Hi Jason, you did some digging there my friend, I bet you lost a couple of pound the way you where sweating, it was worth it though, some cool finds and a few silvers, I was going to explain how the razor works, but someone beat me to it. take care mate GL & HH Tom
Thanks Tom. Yeah I did look up that razor and I get how it works now. I just never used one like that before. I was going to cut away my sweaty spots from the video but I wanted people to see the hard work we put in! Lol. As always I appreciate you stopping by buddy and hope you're doing well with your recovery. Hope to see you out again soon.
Cool video.. That spot does look like a lot of work but it should get easier and easier as u clear out the trash... I thought that acorn thing looked like a ball button...
Thanks Matt. A few people all said it might be a ball button so maybe that's what it is. I thought maybe a small bell off a cat's collar of something like that but who knows.... Thanks for stopping by buddy and take care
Thanks man. I chat with some good people across the pond and love seeing the old coins come up over there! Makes our history look like child's play. Lol. Take care buddy and happy hunting
Jason I think that the ball button you found is called a zoauve button? may not be the correct spelling but it's something like that! Awesome silver spill and a lot of other cool and odd stuff sifted out of all the trash..... that's tough. GL&HH
Thanks man. I never heard of a zoauve button before so I'll have to look that up. Learn new things every day with this hobby. The coin spill was my best silver spill I ever had. This spot has so much trash it's amazing I was able to pluck anything out at all. Appreciate you watching buddy and take care.
I think you are correct on that. I never heard of one before and someone else also pointed that out. Learn something new each dig! Thanks for stopping by and take care.
Last year one of the hustlers on that History Channel pawn shop show tried to sell those double edge razors as an 'improvement' over modern ones. He bragged that they were made in the USA which means they're probably 40+ y.o. (He must have bought a warehouse lot or something) I assumed that everyone else who learned to shave with one laughed like I did because they suck. They were quickly supplanted in the marketplace* by numerous disposables because the plastic holds the blade much more securely. The razor blades in those vibrate when you use them and give a much rougher shave. *First was Wilkinson Sword, then Trac II, then dozens more.
They actually still make them. I bought one a few months ago to try it but it was really rough on my face so I won't be using it again. I did feel nostalgic though as it was cutting my face all up! Lol.
Your handle is to a car, I don't no if you remember back in the day they had small wing windows on them for all the smokers. My 1984 truck that I sold last year had them. the handle you got looks to be about 1950. the acorn is a button older one or they use to put bells on cat collars to keep them from getting birds. Your razor it turns and opens and you put the blade in. Now if you want to see how it works I have two very old razors like that, and they still work, just let me know. Nice hunt silver yes Take care GL=HH \_
I appreciate all the ID help. I did finally look up how that old razor works so now I get it. I didn't realize they opened up like that. I agree on the car handle. When it was dirty I thought it might be something else but once I cleaned it a little the car handle made more sense. Thanks as always for stopping by and I hope my strawberries are doing well! Lol. Take care.
So far so good, got every thing in last Saturday. Got corn up, lettuce up, potatoes up, some beans just starting to pop. yup doing good. But I also already have some weeds, so when you coming to help weed ??
Lol. Once I get my weeds under control I'll be over! I planted so much corn this year I'm gonna have to throw a corn party. I must have 80 plants and 3 feet high so far. I should have staggered the planting time because all the ears are gonna be ready at the same time. Didn't think it through too well before I planted. Oh well, you're invited to the corn party!
Well thank you and I did stagger my corn, won't plant the other two rows until this time next week. I do like sweet corn and thanks for the invite. Take care friend GL=HH \_
Redbeam58- I think the little handle is from a gas stove, turn on and off the burners, if it were a wind wing handle it would have been solid metal without the cavity in it. :)
Thanks Marie for the ID help. It's hard to figure out each and every piece I dig on my own so I appreciate any help that I can get. Take care and I appreciate you stopping by
Thanks man. As you can see, this is how I stack my silver. Not as pretty as the one's you have though! Lol. Appreciate you stopping by and take care buddy.
nice job on that coin spill , that one looked pretty shallow , I probably would of passed it up thinking it was just clad !! patience payed off for you in that trash pit !!
I don't know if I've dug anything in this yard deeper than 5-6". Really odd since the church that now owns the land said that covered the old hoarder's yard with a layer of dirt when they bought the property in the early 1970's. Normally I would pass on those 2" targets but for some reason everything is really shallow and I can't explain why. Thanks for stopping by and take care buddy.
nice hunt man had two silver spills last summer one had 5 silver washingtons all 40's and my other had a slq a washington and 4 mercs what state do you live in?
That does sound like an impressive spill! I don't get many silver spills so it is a real good day for me when I get one. I live in NJ and not a lot of other diggers around so I do have a good land selection. My best spots are in the woods but they are too overgrown in the summer to get around so I'm hitting some grassy areas for now to tide me over. Take care buddy
Hey good hunt man! You found some neat stuff! Congrats on the coins! And that golf putter looks to be it may be an old fridge handle, hope you find out what it is! Take it easy and happy hunting! And btw, no picture popped up for that old motor bike part, just letting you know!
I did add a photo of a restored speedo part but for some reason I must not have saved that copy of the video. I'm gonna fire my video guy! Lol. You might be right about the fridge door handle. I thought it was from a car but a fridge makes a lot of sense based on the size. Thanks for stopping by buddy and happy hunting
The big round iron thing is a hot plate from an old cast iron stove.....the holes are where you would take a metal tool and life and move it to put more wood into the stove part then cover it back over and put your pot or pan back on there and start cooking...
Thanks for the ID help. Incredible how much crazy stuff was in this yard. I think I'm gonna go back again though so maybe I'm just as crazy! Lol. Thanks for stopping by

Great hunt. There's nothing better than pulling silver out of a hole and then getting more signals. Congrats!!
Thanks guys. For me a silver spill is on the endangered species list but they are nice when one shows up. Take care and best of luck out there.
Man, the silver coins are awesome. I would love to find something like that. They're in good shape, too!

I love in the intro how calm you are after just finding a silver coin SPILL!!! Are you freaking kidding me!!!! lol. That's awesome brother.
Haha.

Thanks Marshall. I just saw your newest video as well. Nice coin haul buddy!
The round "bell" goes with the bowling pin pendant. It's the ball to go with. Lots of luck to you and God bless!
Huh, you know I never thought about that before. Thanks for noticing! Take care and thanks for stopping by.
I was checking the comments to see if anyone else had caught that. I was thinking the two pieces might be from a charm bracelet.
@@QuarterHoarder I thought it might be a clapper.
Nice man! Great spot. 6 silvers and a handful of wheaties in one hunt. Very cool! That silver spill was very nice man. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks man. The silver spills are an endangered species for me so I was psyched to find one! Appreciate you stopping by buddy
Sweet hunt and the coins in that hole was amazing.
Thanks Calvin. Silver coin spills are rarer then a 2 headed snake for me so I was stoked to dig that. Appreciate you stopping by buddy.
Well guys well get back, daawwhhpp hold on there's another, aww geez another! Super great video! All that work is worth it to jump on board with a silver quarter!!

The "putter" is a replacement fit-all handle for a faucet. Nice hunt, thanks for sharing it.
Awesome dig, I've dug lots of trashy places like that, they are always interesting , and sometimes they have a few good things.
You are right about that. My plan was to just start removing the top layer of trash and then stumbled into a silver spill. You just never know I guess. Thanks for stopping by and take care
Awesome hunt Jason, Congrats on the silvers! Be sure to go back there again, you know there's more since you cleaned up that site!
Thanks Barbara. Each time back has been less and less trash so I'm making some progress. Hopefully next trip will be all silver and no trash! Lol.
Of course it will! Oh yeah, no bugs or ticks!
I think the big iron disc is a pipe cap, used to seal off a mating flange when it's not ready to be connected to anything yet.
Time travel
Razor head looks like an open comb gillette ball end tech. Really nice shavers I have a handful I use regularly
The round ball with a hole at top, that's a button 🎈
I did find out after I posted the video that it was indeed a ball button. I never heard of one of those before so that was a nice discovery for me. Thanks for helping with the ID and I appreciate you stopping by.
Sweet silver spill! I would say that would make a great rainy day site.
I like the older 1800's properties better but most of mine are deep in the woods and just too overgrown in the summer. I'll weed through and remove the surface trash and then this might be a good spot Thanks for stopping by buddy
Another awesome hunt QH, it may be a trashy site but it is producing well. I'd go back if I were you!
Thanks man. I don't mind the trash as long as there's a few treasures mixed in. My forearms are pretty sore though! Lol. Take care buddy
I just adore these videos, Ty for making this.
Thanks for watching. I love detecting and finding old stuff. Happy to hear you enjoy it too!
Nice finds! Congrats on the coin spill
Great video and some cool finds.
U got dig alll the junk to find the good targets, that what I say al the time, cause the big junk will mask little stuff like a coin . the round ball looks like a round button nice silver finds GL & HH !
Nice spill! You should keep digging there! GL&HH!
Thanks buddy. I think I'll go back again but I may take a little time away and try another site. My arms are still tired from digging so much trash! Lol. Take care man
Quarter Hoarder Lol! I know what you mean!
Great finds what a variety, it's An awesome spot.
Thanks buddy. The arms are still burning from all the holes but I wouldn't want it any other way! Take care man and happy hunting
Nice finds and awesome spill!
Thanks buddy. Those sure don't happen often for me but they are always welcomed in my pouch! Take care and happy hunting.
My question is how you found the location is there some sort of exhoarder property map?
hahaha he probaly knew that there was a hoarder
That was a great hunt buddy, awesome coin spill.
THAT COIN SPILL WAS AWESOME. I KNOW THAT WAS FUN. ENJOYED IT.
Thanks. I can count the number of silver coin spills on one hand with room to spare, so this was a great little pocket for me!
Kolejny dobre video. Znajdujesz ciekawe przedmioty. Życzę dalszych sukcesów i powodzenia. Pozdrawiam
Thanks so much for the kind words and I appreciate you stopping by.
nice spill and good hunt through the dump. They are a lot of work. happy hunting.
+Quarter Hoarder MY PLEASURE!
Sweet Relics Jason. HH and ATB!
Thanks buddy. I did reshow the Speedo dash in this wrapup since now I knew what it was! I gave you credit of course for that awesome ID. Thanks gain for that. Take care my friend.
I saw that brother! Thanks for the shout out. That was awesome! Keep up the great vids.
Some really nice finds my friend. Congratulations on the coin spill.
Thanks. That yard was a junky mess! That's not to say I wouldn't go back though! lol
Sweet hunts Jason. I've only had 2 silver spills before and its been a long time since the last one. Sure do miss them...
Quarter
I like to watch your video. You're blessing living in that state.
Thanks!
Very nice your hunt are pretty cool thanks for sharing.
Thanks Ronnie! I've been fortunate to get some new spots lately so the finds have been plentiful! Appreciate you stopping by.
Wow you had a great couple
Of hunts!
Thanks buddy. I've been fortunate to get access to some new spots recently and that makes all the difference. Virgin land is always nice to come by, just a lot of trash to weed through for the good stuff! Lol. Take care
the top screwed opened from the handle and a double edged razor blade fit in i used to use one back in the 70s
Thanks James. I did Google it later and found out how they worked. I found that the actually still make them today too, probably more of a collectible or for nostalgia purposes though. Appreciate you watching and thanks for stopping by.
Great finds! Thumbs up! :-)
Thanks so much. Any hunt when I find that much silver is always a good day! Take care and I appreciate you stopping by.
Quarter Hoarder You're welcome! :-)
I remember both trailer window handles and car handles that look like the handle in your video. I would guess 40's or 50's.
Sweet hunt!! I wish I found that much silver!
Great finds!
I'd love to have that bowling pin charm I love bowling.
The piece that you originally thought was a putter is actually the flush handle off an old toilet my grand parents had a matching one in their house when I was a young lad...
Pretty cool live digs there. Awesome coin spills with the wheaties and silvers! I just found your channel and subscribed.
Hey thanks. By your name it sounds like you might be a bit of a digger yourself. I'll have to see what's going on in your neck of the woods too.
you knocked the silver dead , Jason ... Nice! ... Maybe that acorn thing is a ball button ?? I don't know just saying ..Always watching when your vids come out... Take care buddy
Jim B
Thanks Jim. I've had a few people all say that small bell was a ball button so I have to believe that is true. I've never heard of a ball button before so I learned something new today. I thought it might have been a cat's collar bell but I've been wrong plenty of times before. Lol. Thanks for stopping by and for the ID help too. Take care buddy.
couldn't see the back of that merc dime did it have a cud on the back?
I've been detecting about 3 yes and I have found 1st very dime . I'd be shickled titless to find a site like that. GL&HH
+oldtimerocker52 Awesome find. The first silver coin I ever found was a Barber dime. Congrats!
this was my 2 silver not counting 2 war nickels i had found a 1954 rossylast summer.
Lol. Thanks for stopping by and take care buddy.
th door hinge from a car looks more like the little side window handle they had on old cars.. on the front part of the front doors.
You might be right about that. After looking at it more carefully I think it is either a side handle or maybe a handle off an old refrigerator. Thanks for the ID help and I appreciate you stopping by
j
It's the vent window locking latch. Looks like Dodge or Chrysler.
The one know is an old vent window locking know .
Nice Finds!
Thank you. Appreciate you stopping by.
what you call the "lug nut" and "piece of brass from the leg of a chair" kinda looks like moonshine still parts. Also the "razor" is the end piece of a razor that uses replaceable blades. I might be wrong but I think you"ll think its worth looking into
Awesome spill
Thanks buddy. Thank god for holes in pockets! lol. Take care
Hi Jason, you did some digging there my friend, I bet you lost a couple of pound the way you where sweating, it was worth it though, some cool finds and a few silvers, I was going to explain how the razor works, but someone beat me to it.
take care mate
GL & HH
Tom
The birds chirping sound pretty cool
Thanks Frank. Who says I don't capture some nature sounds on my hunts! Lol. Appreciate you stopping by
I still use one similar to that old razor. It was issued to me in 1962.
Mr. McGoo I got a new one as a gift a few weeks ago. It is a great design once I figured it out.
Nice finds dude keep up the Gd work and vids all the way from the u.k
Thanks man. I chat with some good people across the pond and love seeing the old coins come up over there! Makes our history look like child's play. Lol. Take care buddy and happy hunting
Is that “mini bell” the bowling ball to the bowling pin? They look like charms from a charm bracelet.
Quarter Hoarder I subscribed to your channel because you and your family are cool☺.
Thanks man. I like them too! Lol. Appreciate you stopping by and take care.
Quarter Hoarder my friend thank you and your welcome☺.
What you called a bell is a ball button. : ) Good vids.
I think you are correct on that. I never heard of one before and someone else also pointed that out. Learn something new each dig! Thanks for stopping by and take care.
You hit a Slot Machine... NICE!
Thank you. Like the casinos, the detecting gods always let you find just enough to keep you coming back out. Lol.
Last year one of the hustlers on that History Channel pawn shop show tried to sell those double edge razors as an 'improvement' over modern ones.
He bragged that they were made in the USA which means they're probably 40+ y.o. (He must have bought a warehouse lot or something)
I assumed that everyone else who learned to shave with one laughed like I did because they suck.
Lol.
I shave with one from the 50s and a 100 year old straight razor. Best shave if you know what your doing.
that looked like a hot day
Your handle is to a car, I don't no if you remember back in the day they had small wing windows on them for all the smokers.
The big cast iron piece you dug up at around 7:00 looked like the burner plate from an old wood burning stove.
Thanks Marie for the ID help. It's hard to figure out each and every piece I dig on my own so I appreciate any help that I can get. Take care and I appreciate you stopping by
No worries, I thoroughly enjoyed the video. :)
The golf club thingy might be the top part of a deco lighter.
very nice finds!
Thanks man. As you can see, this is how I stack my silver. Not as pretty as the one's you have though! Lol. Appreciate you stopping by and take care buddy.
I love the junk silver as well ;D I would love to go coin hunting but CA isn't the best of places for it. Cheers!
nice job on that coin spill , that one looked pretty shallow , I probably would of passed it up thinking it was just clad !! patience payed off for you in that trash pit !!
What do you do with all your cool finds?
Lol. Thanks for stopping by
bowling pin charm, gold? brass?
your lever looks like it's from a wringer washer. The lever that engaged the wringer rollers
"Little dingey piece" I laughed too hard at that... xD
I didn't know what that dingy piece was called so I had to improvise. Come to think of it, I still don't know what it's called. Lol.
It's called the "Clapper"
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bell
That piece of car part with the rubber scrap is a ''motor mount''.
Ciao bravo ottima caccia complimenti :-)
Thank you. I appreciate you stopping by.
