Great job guys, the Nibbler took it like a champ...;) Plus he did get the biggest find of the day..;) Awesome looking pair of buttons there Jason..congrats ATB Michael
+Canadian Relic Hunters Thanks Michael. At least I can say that Nibblers giant saw will look much better mounted over the fireplace than my buttons. lol.
I always enjoy your videos and this one was had some neat finds. Just want to say I admire you for taking time of for your kids and doing the family stuff. One day the kids will grow up and leave home and you will be able to metal detect and make videos as much as you want. For now enjoy them and throw us a couple of videos ever now and then!
+West Texas Tumbleweed You're exactly right. Both boys play and on different teams, so I'm running all over the place everyday until around Feb. My detecting time will be sporadic for a few months but I really enjoy watching them play.
The ring was a very cool find but gotta love the silver coins. Well done guys. I hate moving to new neighborhoods, you guys were doing so good in the last one, hope you go back there some more. Congrats again gents, HH, Jim.
Thanks Jim. We actually wound up returning to the original town this past weekend. Going back again this Saturday too. When things are going good, might as well keep doing it! lol Take care buddy
Thanks Darryl. Those buttons were a real showstopper for me! I think they might go back to the 1800's but I'm still trying to research them. I just love pieces like that. Take care buddy
Nice Masonic ring and cool buttons... and of course the silver coins.... not a bad day... better luck on the next for the nibbler... Take care Jason and GL&HH
Thanks Ross. At least the Nibbler got that awesome saw. I hope he hangs that baby up somewhere in his house. I know I would, at least until my wife made me take it down 10 minutes later! lol
Hi Jason.. Well you done very well on your hunt. Nice to see the owner playing that trombone.! Fantastic masonic ring. Thanks for sharing your finds.. Cheers Tony.👍🍺⛏🇦🇺
+Famo59 Thanks Tony! I seem to get a lot of friendly homeowners. For him to let us dig was nice enough, but then to come out and play a few bars of that horn was a bonus! Take care buddy.
As Always, I enjoyed watching. After you dug that Washington, I was expecting you to come back with another coin from that hole. It looked like another coin might have been up against it. Guess not! I love that pair of buttons you popped out. if you ever decide you don't need two of the same buttons in your collection..... ...LOL Take care & HH, Don
Thanks Don! I did recheck the hole where I got that stained quarter but I came up empty. Those two buttons were amazing. If I ever get tired of looking at the set you're at the top of the list buddy! lol
+OutlawjjSmith Smith Thanks! I'm hoping the buttons turn out to be Masonic. I haven't been able to find an exact match online. They were really stunning. Really appreciate it and hope you can stop by the live stream for a little bit Sunday night if you're free.
+Reiser's Treasure Hunting Emporium Thanks buddy. Tomorrow night is the next live stream of you can stop by. I have your awesome button in the 'coolest relic' segment. Take care and happy hunting.
Love your videos. Thanks for taking the time to do them. You have kids and I understand that family comes first. I will always look forward to your videos so no worries about the kids stuff!
+Susan Payne Thanks Susan. I'll try to get videos up as often as I can, I just didn't want to commit to every Thursday until their sports season winds down. Appreciate the understanding and maybe you can catch some of my live stream this Sunday night. It would be nice to see you there
Great hunt even for a round coin day! Congrats on the silver and that merc looks fantastic! Love the button! They are unique and really cool! Totally blanked on the Masons ring! That thing is awesome and beautiful!! Thanks for sharing and Keep Living the Dirt Life!!
Really appreciate it. The silvers were great but I couldn't stop thinking about those buttons. They really made my day. The Masonic ring was also a killer dig. That guy must have been like 6'8" because that ring was huge! Take care and thanks for stopping by
+Metal Dog Digger Thanks. The ring and buttons were my favorite finds. Even more so than the silver coins. Nibblers two-man saw will make a great display piece. He really did get a good one there! Take care and thanks for stopping by.
Sweet finds Jason!! Love those sweet flat buttons! That Washington with half circle on the back might have had another coin stuck to it..I have always wanted to find a Masonic ring...Cool find for sure!
+MNpicker Thanks buddy. Not a ton of finds, but I was really happy with the few I did get. Next live stream is this Sunday at 7:30pm est and I have a small handful of guests. If you're around I'd love to have you as a mod again. You and Jacob really did a great job.
those button are and awesome find love the ring - you guys had a super hunt congrats on the silver and neat relics take care my friend - Maine Metal Detecting - Sisters History Detectorists
+www.stephensmills.net Thanks ladies! I found out that those buttons had a Masonic symbol on them just like the ring. Maybe an old Masonic meeting place. Man I love this hobby! By the way, I have your photos ready for Sunday's live stream. If you can stop by for a bit we'd love to have you.
DUDE WHEN YOU SAID YOU WANTED TO MARRY THE BUTTONS I LAUGHED SO LOUD I SCARED MY DOG! LMAO! I love buttons too I collect vintage/antique buttons I have hundreds. Some old dressers have decorative pieces to match the drawer pulls...maybe.Congrats on the silvers Woohoo Jason! Happy Hunting & Good Luck on the next one. 1L
+1L Michele Ok, maybe I got a little carried away with wanting to marry them. They were the most awesome buttons I've ever found. Turns out they symbol might be Masonic so that makes them 5 points higher on my coolness scale. Lol.
EARTH ANGEL😇😔. Hi Jason! Sure will miss these Thursday night videos, turning the little computer on and finding you as the fist video every time! However, much respect ✊ I have for you and your choice!!😁👍 I just am crazy over those cherub buttons! The griffin certainly adds flair, and I’m sure 💵 to their value! Be safe, enjoy, and blessings........
Thanks Judine. I'll still post through the winter just maybe not as often. The boys sports schedule really gets busy this time of year and I like to coach and watch them both play. Those cherub buttons were amazing. I found a few pictures of similar ones online but nothing exact. I'd love to be able to date them but that's not always easy. Thanks for stopping by and take care.
Thanks Johnny! The finds weren't pouring into my bag but at least I got a few keepers! Appreciate you making the stream last night too. Those are a lot of fun with the real time chat. Looking forward to doing more of them. Feel free to send me any more of your cool relic pics too. Yours were a real treat!
Nice video Jason! Hey, those hand saws are a relic we sometimes find here in the PNW. Cool find. Nice silvers too! Tell Kyle we said hello. Take care, Andrew
Thanks Andrew. Kyle eyeballed that saw from about 100 feet away and made a beeline for it. Incredible that it's not cracked and still have all it's teeth! That's a cool idea to have someone paint a scene on it. It certainly won't be me picking up the brush! lol
Good hunt Jason the buttons are cool , two silver coins the dime looks OK , and the masonic ring might belong to the grand poo bar LOL again awesome video Jason ATB & HH. Jim
+MD Melbourne haha, the grand poo bah! Whoever lost that ring was one big dude. I could almost wear it as a head band. Lol. Take care Jim and happy hunting buddy.
Awesome hunt my friend nice buttons and can't go without finding the quarter wouldn't be an episode lol you found some pretty awesome stuff to bad that ring wasn't silver or gold that would've been nice still a ring though awesome finds my friend 👍
+Darnell Hello World Metal Detecting Williams Thanks Darnell. This silver quarter streak is probably doomed. Once I start talking about it I will most likely jinx myself. Lol. The Masonic ring was super cool, even if it wasn't precious. Beggars can't be choosers I guess!
Great Jason sometimes nothing is something or something is nothing you never know till you get the item identified. Great hunt and video be waiting for the next one Thanks AL
+Diggin' with Seven Hey thanks Loy. How have you been buddy? I didn't realize it was a suspended clip at the time. I had to Google it when I got home. My IDs are slowly improving but I'm still only at around 14%, give or take. Lol. Take care and best of luck hunting!
WOW, what a Ring. Congrats. Cool spoon bowl, key, imperial hook thingy. That guy was awesome on that horn. Very cool buttons, awesome save. Silver quarter 6 weeks. So glad that draught is over. A merc dime too. Sweet 2 man saw. Thimble still on my list. Happy to see a video this week. Chat with you on Sunday.
+malyman24 Thanks Mike. It was a nice little plot of land even if the finds weren't flying out of the holes. Some days I leave with a pouch full of goodies and sometimes only a small handful. Either way, a slow day of digging is still a good day. Take care buddy and hope you can stop by Sunday.
Thanks Jeff. I do like old buttons and these may have been the coolest design I've found in a long time. Really made my hunt, maybe more so than the ring,....maybe. lol
+Ms. Pete Sidewalk You're not kidding. Those were the coolest buttons I've found in a long time. It doesn't take much to make my hunt worth the effort. Lol
+Calvin's Rustic Arts Thanks Calvin. As much fun as this is, family comes first and this is a busy time of year for us. I'll be posting still but probably a little less frequently. Playing it by ear but thanks for the kind words.
Very, very cool finds, QH! Especially the matching buttons, Masonic ring and two-man saw. As for the brick structure remnants, try to find online a source for "Sanbourne Fire Insurance" maps for the town you are digging in. Those maps will show you structures that used to be, but are not anymore.
Great job Man! Those Medford flower tags are a pain in the butt sometimes... I dig them all the time. Of coarse Medford isn't that far away from me. LOL You scored on those buttons... 2 even! Would ne interesting to know what they came from. Keep it up, Good Luck & Happy Huntin'
Thanks. Those flower tags sound amazing in the ground, fool me every time. My digging partner and I started a contest where we see who digs the most of them each month. That way they're not as disappointing when we do get them. Appreciate you stopping by and Happy Holidays!
That plant tag said Medford oregon? Lol that town in 26 miles south of me. Wow that's hilarious and unbelievable. I like your videos, they definitely inspire me to get out and make my own videos.
Actually I already make videos. I think I have 5 or 6 but I'll send a link anyway. Your along with other youtubers, kind of amp me up to get out for the day.
+Dirt Bandit Found it and subbed. Hope to see some new videos from you. Email me a photo or two or any cool relics you've dug and I'll show them on the next live stream. Take care buddy.
+Jeff Hall Thanks Jeff. Totally clueless on that 'vacuum' piece. It talks about removing lint on the bottom so I just assumed maybe off an old dryer. Take care buddy.
Hey man. Looked like a fun hunt. Really cool Masonic ring and odds and ends. I love those hunts with the wide variety of finds. Good one. That was one crazy cool horn.
+Okie's Surf N Turf Metal Detecting Thanks! I heard from Jerimy you're gonna be on the call for the live stream Sunday. I'm looking forward to it buddy!
hey bud not going to be able to finish watching I am on a plane to U.S. vergin islands to c what is left of the family Vila. nice digs so far will finish when I get home. still no power, phone, water, ext. Erma put a woopen on the island. bummer gonna miss the live show this Sunday to. best of luck cheers Nathan
+Dog is my co-pirate Sorry to hear the news buddy. This year seems to have been full of destructive storms. I hope the damage is minimal and be safe on the flight.
+Basia Today Thanks Barbara. The ring was awesome and if the homeowner doesn't want it back it's going right in a display case! I'll never catch your quarter total for the year but I'm having fun trying!
I loved those buttons! Very cool that you got two! I have to disagree with Nibbler though. His find of the day was that cross cut saw! Very collectible decor piece these days. Local artisans like to paint landscape scenes on them and sell them. They look great over a fireplace. I think it might have been the find of the hunt!
That's true, that saw was amazing. I think he's gonna clean it up a little and display it above his mantle. Incredible that it had no cracks and all the teeth were still intact. Two thumbs up for that find!
the item with the word vacuum should say "vacuum packed" and "return if ring is lifted". was used for food stuffs like frozen orange juice and such stuff as well as nuts. (imagine a pringles can with metal lid. Think they actually did it too at one time.)
Cool finds, awesome Masonic ring. Could that mystery "coin" be a flat button missing the shank? Just a thought. By the way, I did receive the logo you sent, I'll get a video on it next time I get out. Been busy, archery season for deer opened and been spending some time in the woods with my dad. Good luck, take care, and see you on the next one!
+NE Pa History and Archaeology Search Glad the logo arrived. I got backed up so sorry for the delay on it. It's possible that large copper round is a button. I thought it was a dandy button when I first pulled it out but it's so slick I just don't know. In the mystery pile it goes for now. Lol. Take care.
Nice ring find, a Winged man (Angel) on a horse or winged lion (gryphon) is also a Masonic emblem or symbol, this must have been either a meeting place or where a member have resided to have or than one item of same origin. Thanks QH and Mr. Kyle 5'10" on a good day lol, that flat metal seemed to have ridges around edge like it used to be a coin that was placed on train tracks and ran over by train, sometimes they still hold their roundness and thickness and don't smash all the way.
+ShaBle's Bigfoot Search Those buttons might actually be Masonic items along with that ring. I didn't make the connection before, but maybe it was an old meeting place. Even all 5'10 of Kyle agrees! Lol.
Nice digs Jason, I was thinking maybe if you swing a yard in all metal mode and it's loaded with iron, then maybe throw on a small coil right off the bat..? I don't do yards much, but just an idea. Love your vids man, gotta get me a sticker one day, how would I do that btw? Tc, GL&HH Joel
Thanks Joel. Not a bad idea with the small coil. My small coil broke last year and I just never replaced it. Right now for this machine I only have the stock coil and the oversized NEL but I may pickup another small one for just such yards. I have plenty of logo stickers if you'd like one. Just email me your mailing address and I'll get one out to you. QuarterHoarder@yahoo.com. Take care and happy hunting!
Thanks Jilly. I'm gonna post regular videos still too. Just not sure how regular they'll be until February rolls around. The live streams are fun to do and I'm glad you were able to make it!
Nice well rounded hunt. Cool Masonic ring. Those 2 buttons are real sweet, did you set a date yet for the wedding. And congrats on some silver. 😎 GL&HH!
+yerdigginit metal detecting Thanks man. My first piece of Masonic memorabilia with that ring. I'd marry those buttons tomorrow but I'd need to move to Utah first. Also, my human wife is probably a better cook. Lol.
If someone did metal detecting in my garden they'd go crazy digging up the whole garden. Some people who once lived in our house filled the garden with junk. There's a motor bike under there, a bed frame I think tons of random crap.
+TreasureHuntingSWPA Thanks Matt. That was a great piece. I've got a few really cool looking suspended clips over the years and this was one of the the best ones.
Patches: The hook thing as you call it is part of a old rubber boot class. The two holes held a pin inside to attach it to the boot. You are much younger than me. I actually had a pair as a child . Early 1960' s.
THAT WAS A DECENT HUNT FOR YOU TWO. RICK NEVER GETS DISCOURAGED BECAUSE HE SAYS FINDING SOMETHING IS BETTER THAN FINDING NOTHING. LOL. GREAT VIDEO AS USUAL. STILL TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHERE TO PUT YOUR LOGO. ENJOYED IT. GL AND HH. LIZZIE
Thanks Lizzie. Some hunts are more productive than others. I'm usually pretty happy to go home with one good piece so I can't complain. Appreciate you stopping by
OK, I played for several years in my high school band, and i have never heard of an "Over-the-Shoulder bass saxhorn in E-flat". Coolness extreme! That masonic ring that hit in the low 50s is interesting. Is it white gold, platinum, or stainless steel?
+Nick Haas I never heard of that instrument either. He told me that they aren't made anymore and that his is a vintage horn from the 1850's! How cool when the homeowner answers the door in a full civil war outfit. Lol. Masonic ring is not stamped inside so I'm guessing it's nothing precious. I may have it tested if the homeowner doesn't want it
The Imperial hook is a hook from overalls I believe. Not 100% on that, but it looks familiar to some overalls my grandmother had kept that had belonged to my grandfather. He was born in 1902 so that might indicate date. They were not adult sized.
I saw a video on cleaning copper, silver and steel items that are corroded..you put some tiolet cleaner in a jar and pour about a quarter cup of cleaner into jar, put coindms in jar close it and let sit for a few minutes..shake the liquid in jar and the rust will come off..try it on some pennies or coins sometime.
+Joe Brown I thought it might be. I'm gonna give it a thorough cleaning and see if there's any detail on the front. I'm hoping its something Masonic to match the ring and buttons! Thanks Joe.
I thought about that but it's still so thick. If a penny did squish out to that size it would be much thinner. I think it's either a slug or a foreign large cent of some type. Shame there's almost no detail so I can't confirm it either way.
Thanks Charles. It is so slick I'm having a hard time finding almost any detail. I do think it might be some sort of large cent, probably foreign, but for now it remains in my mystery pile.
love the Horn sweet Masonic ring .. being that low could it be gold .. white gold ?? looks like a coin Jason nice relics ... that Flat button with the guy riding is very nice another button moly mobs maybe its from the wizard of Oz .. Monkeys riding winged horses lol kidding really nice ..nice thimble ... Hey congrats on the Washington and Merc good Idea taking time for yourself and family its hard to do it all Take care Jason ... See you on your next live feed
Thanks Jim. I might not have dug a lot of cool pieces this hunt, but I'm really thrilled with the few I did get. The ring and those buttons were amazing pieces and will proudly go in my collection. Don't know how much I'll be posting the next few months but I'm hoping to do a live stream at least every other week. Playing it by ear for now. Take care man and I hope you can drop by Sunday night and say hi.
+Matthew Moeller I found one on my last hunt. Mine was made in NY but I forget the flower name on the back. I guess we're starting a collection of them now! L.
I actually have a three panel shaving mirror from the civil war era. It was with my great grandmothers things. no one else was interested in it. Sports a little foxing and one narrow piece of wood of the frame is missing. Chains and stand balls in tact.
Great job guys, the Nibbler took it like a champ...;) Plus he did get the biggest find of the day..;) Awesome looking pair of buttons there Jason..congrats ATB Michael
+Canadian Relic Hunters Thanks Michael. At least I can say that Nibblers giant saw will look much better mounted over the fireplace than my buttons. lol.
Great hunt. A few nice rewards too. That saw! I bet it cut its way through some heavy lumber. Thanks for taking us along! Cheers
That was one cool saw. I hope Kyle cleans it up and displays it. That will look great over the fireplace!

Great Hunt guys. Love that Masonic ring. And those two buttons are an incredible find.
Thanks Darryl. Those buttons were a real showstopper for me! I think they might go back to the 1800's but I'm still trying to research them. I just love pieces like that. Take care buddy

+OutlawjjSmith Smith Thanks! I'm hoping the buttons turn out to be Masonic. I haven't been able to find an exact match online. They were really stunning. Really appreciate it and hope you can stop by the live stream for a little bit Sunday night if you're free.
I am certainly going to try if I can pull myself out of the field. What time does it start?
+OutlawjjSmith Smith 7:30pm EST. I have 3 guests for this one too and all the relic submission pics. Should be a fun time if you can make it.
Very Cool finds!! Thank you for sharing
Thanks Kathy!

Cool Ring and buttons. Always have to like getting the silver. Looks like a fun day. Loved seeing the owner play the horn....Ron
+Dig Dogs Thanks Ron. What a cool homeowner to play a few notes for me. Like me digging in his yard all day wasn't nice enough. Lol.

Great Jason sometimes nothing is something or something is nothing you never know till you get the item identified. Great hunt and video be waiting for the next one Thanks AL
+Oldies&Goodies Thanks. Researching and ID-ing is almost like finding the item all over again. You never know what you're gonna come up with.

The big flat coin may be a railroad squash!. Put on the track.. Great place to hunt. Enjoyed it.
+Suncast45 I thought it could be also. It must have still been something large to begin though. It was still as thick as a quarter.
WOW, what a Ring. Congrats. Cool spoon bowl, key, imperial hook thingy. That guy was awesome on that horn. Very cool buttons, awesome save. Silver quarter 6 weeks. So glad that draught is over. Sorry to see you're taking a break, but it's totally understandable. You put a lot of effort into your videos, and we all appreciate it.
+Calvin's Rustic Arts Thanks Calvin. As much fun as this is, family comes first and this is a busy time of year for us. I'll be posting still but probably a little less frequently. Playing it by ear but thanks for the kind words.
I forgot to say congrats on that Awesome Masonic ring. Great Find!!
Oh man, you're not kidding. What a cool ring that was. I almost soiled myself! lol
+April England Nice tip on the website April, thanks! I'm gonna check that out.
Videos are always awesome to watch
Thanks Benjamin! I appreciate it buddy.
Very interesting finds....good on ya'.
Thanks!
That plant tag said Medford oregon? Lol that town in 26 miles south of me. Wow that's hilarious and unbelievable. I like your videos, they definitely inspire me to get out and make my own videos.
+Dirt Bandit Awesome Dirt Bandit! I hope you find some amazing relics buddy! Best of luck out there and send me a link to your first video.
Actually I already make videos. I think I have 5 or 6 but I'll send a link anyway. Your along with other youtubers, kind of amp me up to get out for the day.
th-cam.com/users/gioman768
+Dirt Bandit Found it and subbed. Hope to see some new videos from you. Email me a photo or two or any cool relics you've dug and I'll show them on the next live stream. Take care buddy.
Thank you, I appriciate that. Happy hunting. I may get out today and do some myself
I think that thing with the word “vacuum” was a can lid with a pop top ring on it. Great hunt! Thanks for posting your videos.
+Jeff Hall Thanks Jeff. Totally clueless on that 'vacuum' piece. It talks about removing lint on the bottom so I just assumed maybe off an old dryer. Take care buddy.
Quarter Hoarder I didn’t catch that part. Well, I don’t have a clue either.
Dude to see you scraping that relic with that digging tool made my hart drop. You need to understand about colonial era stuff . It's so rare .
Same
I’m looking forward to it as well. It’s going to be a lot of fun.
Awesome hunt J!!
Thanks!
Six weeks in a row with a silver quarter is awesome Jason. I have only found 4 all year. Nice job!
I jinxed myself. I said that and then the very next week no silvers at all. lol Still love the hunt even if the finds aren't always amazing
That Masonic ring is an awesome find. I love all the mystery associated with it. 🤘 GL&HH
Thanks! It might have been my first ever Masonic item I've ever dug. Really thrilled to have it too. Appreciate you stopping by!
hey bud not going to be able to finish watching I am on a plane to U.S. vergin islands to c what is left of the family Vila. nice digs so far will finish when I get home. still no power, phone, water, ext.
Erma put a woopen on the island. bummer gonna miss the live show this Sunday to. best of luck cheers Nathan
+Dog is my co-pirate Sorry to hear the news buddy. This year seems to have been full of destructive storms. I hope the damage is minimal and be safe on the flight.
those buttons are so cool great find! cool ring and a bit of shiny! nice digging man best of luck cheers Nathan
So much fun. Thanks so much!
Great hunt!
Thanks!
Congrats on that Masonic ring Jason! Nice silvers and keep digging those silver quarters! Happy Hunting
Nice haul, Jason.
+StivNagen Thanks!
the item with the word vacuum should say "vacuum packed" and "return if ring is lifted". was used for food stuffs like frozen orange juice and such stuff as well as nuts. (imagine a pringles can with metal lid. Think they actually did it too at one time.)
That sounds like a great ID. I didn't even think about "vacuum packed". Thanks buddy!
Very nice finds, congrats! 👍🏻
+adveNZures Thanks!
Interesting finds....
Have a good one...
+S & J ActiveVideos Thanks guys!
Lol. Take care.
Nice wipsaw and we found a weird relic that is very very very similar to your buttons but it seems really old
I'd love to see a picture of it. If you can email one to me that would be great. Thanks. QuarterHoarder@yahoo.com
For sure
Sent to your email
Great silver coins and those old buttons are fantastic well done boys
+Cointector Thanks. Those buttons were stunning. Really appreciate it!
Loved it cheers
Lol.
Nice, Good finds great job!
+Charlie Fred De la Pena Thanks Charlie!
So cool! That’s real old Home.
Nice digs Jason,
I was thinking maybe if you swing a yard in all metal mode and it's loaded with iron, then maybe throw on a small coil right off the bat..? I don't do yards much, but just an idea. Love your vids man, gotta get me a sticker one day, how would I do that btw?
Tc,
GL&HH Joel
Thanks Joel. Not a bad idea with the small coil. My small coil broke last year and I just never replaced it. Right now for this machine I only have the stock coil and the oversized NEL but I may pickup another small one for just such yards. I have plenty of logo stickers if you'd like one. Just email me your mailing address and I'll get one out to you. QuarterHoarder@yahoo.com. Take care and happy hunting!
fantastic finds!!!! like and regards from germany
+Deteción Metálica WW2 Alemania Thanks my German buddy!
Great finds! Sure gonna miss the vids!!! See ya live tho :)
Thanks Jilly. I'm gonna post regular videos still too. Just not sure how regular they'll be until February rolls around. The live streams are fun to do and I'm glad you were able to make it!
Those buttons are Awesome! !!!!!!!!! Congrats
+B3 Relic Recovery Thanks. They might be my favorite flat buttons I've ever dug.
Lol.
Nice video cool finds
Thanks!
If someone did metal detecting in my garden they'd go crazy digging up the whole garden. Some people who once lived in our house filled the garden with junk. There's a motor bike under there, a bed frame I think tons of random crap.
Hmm, I did always want a mini bike...
Love that lumberjack saw 😀
+Digging Canuck Now we can remove any large trees in our detecting path!
And then some .....
Cool finds, guys. :)
Thanks!
I like the Imperial suspender hook! -Matt.
+TreasureHuntingSWPA Thanks Matt. That was a great piece. I've got a few really cool looking suspended clips over the years and this was one of the the best ones.
Nice masonic ring. Semi descent hunt, but any day hunting is a good one. Lol!😜 HH guys!
+Richard Taylor I agree. The thrill of the hunt is the exciting part. If I leave with a few cool finds then that's a bonus. Take care Richard.
As a Master Mason myself, and a digger, I would give the ring to the local Lodge to put up in the Archives. Just a suggestion.
Patches: The hook thing as you call it is part of a old rubber boot class. The two holes held a pin inside to attach it to the boot. You are much younger than me. I actually had a pair as a child . Early 1960' s.
At 8:12 that thing your thought was a clip I think it might be a piece to a suspender strap
+HAWKEYE 27 I think that's exactly what it is now, thanks. I've just never found one quite like it so it threw me off.
The unknown coin I believe is a quarter that was put on railroad tracks and a train went over it. People used to do that for fun
G in Freemasonry stands for both the Great Architect of the Universe and Geometry
+XxRATTYxX Thanks! I meant to Google it and I forgot. Appreciate the info buddy!
Man great ring, congrats
+JIMMYCROSSBONES Thank you!
I may have it tested if the homeowner doesn't want it
That big smooth disc is probably an old early 1800s copper =) Nice!
I'm sure hoping so. That baby is so slick I can't see any detail. Bummer! Thanks for the help though
looks almost like 1800s british penny
The Imperial hook is a hook from overalls I believe. Not 100% on that, but it looks familiar to some overalls my grandmother had kept that had belonged to my grandfather. He was born in 1902 so that might indicate date. They were not adult sized.
LOVE the cuff Links!
They were awesome. Thanks Jan!
You had some good saves congratulations
+James Nauert Thanks! I'll take what the ground gives me. Lol.
The ring is masonic and the clip is an old suspender clip great hunt guys!
+Adirondack Ron Thanks Rob! Might be my first ever Masonic item!
Imperial is part of a suspender clamp/buckle.
The thing at 8:30 is a buckle. The metal rod on the back is missing would go in the 2 holes.
+Joe Brown I thought it might be. I'm gonna give it a thorough cleaning and see if there's any detail on the front. I'm hoping its something Masonic to match the ring and buttons! Thanks Joe.
I'm a Mason & have never seen anything like that in the Lodge. Good luck.
Is there train tracks nearby? That thing you think is a coin could be a penny squashed by a train. Keep sharing and HH !
I thought about that but it's still so thick. If a penny did squish out to that size it would be much thinner. I think it's either a slug or a foreign large cent of some type. Shame there's almost no detail so I can't confirm it either way.
Kyle's decorative gear looks like an old bake shoe adjustment wheel.
i think the nibbler got a good one too with that old hand saw we just dont see those any more
I loved that saw. I think he did hang it over his fireplace.
coin looks like it may be a british coin, I could see an upright line when you were holding it. Britania holding the spear.
Thanks Charles. It is so slick I'm having a hard time finding almost any detail. I do think it might be some sort of large cent, probably foreign, but for now it remains in my mystery pile.
Polish those buttons up and turn them into cufflinks!
+Sean Wingfield That would look cool, if I owned a shirt that even uses cufflinks. Lol.
love the Horn sweet Masonic ring .. being that low could it be gold .. white gold ?? looks like a coin Jason nice relics ... that Flat button with the guy riding is very nice another button moly mobs maybe its from the wizard of Oz ..
I sure will Jason
I have found one of those tags that nickel nibbler found. Will have to find it to see what mine reads.
+Matthew Moeller I found one on my last hunt. Mine was made in NY but I forget the flower name on the back. I guess we're starting a collection of them now! L.
😮 cool ring amazing g hunt!
+Relic Dirtyhands Thanks buddy! I think it was my first piece of Masonic memorabilia.
I actually have a three panel shaving mirror from the civil war era. It was with my great grandmothers things. no one else was interested in it. Sports a little foxing and one narrow piece of wood of the frame is missing. Chains and stand balls in tact.
+lynn allen Wow that sounds amazing. I'd love to see a photo of it.
