I am tickled pink that I have finally found an American, who truly embraces Provencal style - most American "French Country" kitchens are way too perfect and shiny, sparkling new EVERYTHING. You let your things tell their story and don't feel the need to repaint everything and if so, you have a great way of distressing that looks authentic. You don't strive for absolute perfection, because that is not natural in an authentic Provencal home. You have hit on the right and true balance of utilitarian things and well-loved charm that is the French kitchen. Bravo, Madame!
Watching all your old videos, you’re so blessed to have a blank canvas house with great bones where you and Joel have the same goals for your family ❤️🏡
You are so much like me except the 6 kids... God bless you there, I have no children... but I am much older than you, still very much into decorating... Live in a Historic Home, and district... home tours, and garden tours... i however like to do my yard for my husband and myself... lots and lots of flowers and very different garden, antique pieces... the same as the house... just love it... people always drive by and take pictures... so much fun and enjoyment... love your home... like I said in my last comment LIVING THE DREAM...SO BLESSED... . So there was me thinking how lovely everything you do turns out and how I like it even though my own style is very different from yours. But style is style and yours is very unique. The way you manage to make everything practical and nobody would suspect it. But it was the mirror that gave me a major inspiration for my hallway. It has bored me to tears ever since I moved in. Now I‘ll enhance its humdrum quotidian boredom by reflecting it with as many mirrors I can find. It‘ll be great fun. Thank you so much! I discovered you today and have been binge watching you ever since.
It's a treat when you take us with you to the flea market! And as always couldnt wait to see where you put everything! I just recieved another O/W magazine and I love it!!!!!
I've just found your channel, and it's beautiful! It's brought me such pleasure on this rainy day and helped spark my creativity again for my own farmhouse kitchen!
I just found you and love every minute of your videos. I use a lot of toile and copper in my french country decor but you have mastered the art and inspired me after being sick for a few months. I am excited and ready to redecorate. Thanks!
I have watched and re-watched this over and over again! I love your kitchen, I had to stop it so many times to see the woñder that is the best kitchen ever. Your style and stylish way you have put it together is amazing. Thanks for sharing this with me. I have to re-do my kitchen, which is no way as big and lovely as yours however I am re-thinking my options thanks.🌹
Sooo beautiful. I've collected and use cast iron pans, a small metal meat safe, bone handled cutlery in a gorgeous box and aluminium jelly molds in a few sizes. I have only one piece of copper at the moment, it's a coal scuttle (maybe) with blue and white on the handle. I'm thinking of putting my little collection of vintage wooden rolling pins in it. I was going to use a big open wooden shelving to put my appliances in but after watching these, I think I'd be better off hiding the appliances in the cupboard that currently has our everyday dinner sets and displaying them on the shelving. Thank you for the tours, I really loved it. Thank you as well for keeping it real💜💜💜💜💜
Your kitchen is Beautiful. My kitchen is Yellow, some accents of barn red. And Modern farmhouse white. Little splash of green and country blue. With painted birds , ivy, and nest over the door way.
Well well, dont you make perfect look easy!!! Hahaha!! Honestly, youre beautiful, talented and such a lovely mommy!! Be so very proud and know how blessed you are! Fantastic!!
Hi, I am obsessed with your kitchen. I have watched part 1 and 2 numerous times. I try to notice every little thing. I spent a few hrs looking for those wood pictures with the French country scene (fromage). I finally found 2 places that sold them on-line. Big difference between prices. I also enjoy the music. I’m a big Nancy Myers fan. She is a director who seems to love everything French. Anyways, beautiful kitchen, period.
Looks yummy I'm going to order your cook books I been collecting french stuff for awhile and u have my taste in cooking and house decorating love your channel
Fantastic job at creating your vision. I have so many wonderful antique bits and you've inspired me to bring them out to enjoy. I have an English (Scottish, actually) cottage in Los Angeles, and my late husband was Suisse French, born in Geneva, and we collected many old linens, books, etc. Please share how you tackle cleaning and dusting it all. (Gosh, I just sounded like my mother! Lol.)
You and Shay have a knack for this look! You both make it look so easy, the food, the atmosphere, the gardens! Bravo! I would love to know how you get the layers of different colored paints on the pieces (cabinets, doors, etc.) I loved how you shot the arrangement, lol the kids being kids and you totally blocked them out knowing that sweet music would flow through that part! 👍 Loving your channel from NC
TO DIE FOR AND YOU MADE ME CRY BECAUSE IT IS SOOOOO BEAUTIFUL!!!! I have so many problems keeping me from attaining anything like this in my kitchen, like black granite countertops, white thermopane cabinets that people tell me can't be painted or antiqued, and black granite that goes from the countertop to under the cabinets, all the way up. I thought about using the teal wallpaper you recommended on your site to cover that backsplash, what do u think? I will be watching this every day for more ideas, in the meantime, I am gonna go cry again. You have the touch, a magical one, Angela. Oh by the way, you have never been more beautiful. xxxxxxx I am gonna share this all over.
Oh Nita, you're so sweet. I was excited to share this with you in particular. I'd try anything in your kitchen. I had those cabs in my first kitchen and I stenciled something on them to soften them.
You don't happen to have a picture of those cabinets, do you? I was told they wouldn't take paint easily. I'd like to antique them like I did my old other house cabinets, which I did with, of all things, brown shoe polish, which turned out great. I am some old vinyl wallcovering that looks like old cracked French tiles that I think would apply to the black granite backsplash, but I don't have enough to completely cover all I have. I can measure and apply as much as I can and then let some of the black granite show, either on the bottom or top under the cabinets. You have inspired me to change out some things today in the kitchen and I bought some more copper molds. I did find a French bread box in metal with the fleur de lis even but with shipping, it was over $200. It is black. One cabinet was an emerald green. xxxxxxx
So cute I love your ideas especially the mirror but I would have your husband double or triple the board above your fireplace if he has it but I love your ideas great job
I get most of my mirrors here there and everywhere. Junk shops, barn sales. I have found some that I really like and put them in my Amazon shop too. I love them when they are de-silvered.
Love your sense of style and ideas, but sadly as I am a bit of a minimalist, this would be a nightmare for me along with my OCD cleaning!! But all the same it does look beautiful and I am sure that given the right house and area, I could be persuaded, well just a little.

Ah so lovely, you’ve created a kitchen no one will want to leave ... such ambiance.
Because of your videos I'm motivated to start a herb garden and slowly a little garden
So WONDERFUL to see color in your decor. Surely one day the bleached out white trend will end!
hysterical real life and you so calm

You're so sweet. We used to live in an historic district as well, but I sure love no neighbors:)

Wow. Brilliant. So evocative. I felt like I was transported to France at the turn of the last century.

I really would love to see some how to’s (specifically your door) and some shopping hauls (where you find your goodies). Please!
Check the barn sale episode. You might enjoy that. I have some painting how to's planned for next year.

It made me laugh. Our kids are SO LOUD. I had to share.
Parisienne Farmgirl what I loved even more is during that commotion you were not even phased, you were so into your flower arranging , it was great!

I'm a new subscriber. Love it! If you're not already an interior designer, you should be! Incredibly creative, & beautiful! - Cynthia ( Arizona)
Fabulous
Charming!
So cute I love your ideas especially the mirror but I would have your husband double or triple the board above your fireplace if he has it but I love your ideas great job
The board over the fireplace is just there until I find the perfect beam. It's way too thin. You're right:)
Sooo pretty , love your channel 🙏🏻💕
What color did you use on the walls? Lovely styling.
Kelli Cornwell it’s Revere Pewter:). Best color ever.
I use flicker flame bulbs, leave them on all the time
Dishes! You forget to talk about your dishes :)
It's just gorgeous (not that I'm surprised). The faux fireplace just takes the cake, or should I say gateau?
Thank you so much! I'm so pleased with the faux fireplace... love your play on words!
I put a lamp in my kitchen too. It makes it super cozy.
Where did you get your small chandliers? I love them.
Gilda Mata
I have been gathering chandies for years. I get them re-wired if needed.
I found some really old red fabric in my shed thinking of recovering my dining chairs I have the red farm tolie for curtains
How do you handle the dust on every piece? I mean, it‘s beautiful, but isn‘t it a lot of work? Or is the dust part of the total work of art:)?
Where do you find blouses like that? Love it!
Thrift shops:)
I want to know about the copper I bought a copper cup after I clean it only a few days later it looks bad is there cheap kinds of copper
LOVE IT! WOW Do you have a degree in interior design?
Looking good! Where do you source most of your mirrors?
I get most of my mirrors here there and everywhere. Junk shops, barn sales. I have found some that I really like and put them in my Amazon shop too. I love them when they are de-silvered.
Thanks, Angela!!! I have checked out your Amazon store before - but I will look again! xoxo

I love too many things to be a minimalist, but yes, there's a lot of cleaning involved:)
Kitchen roof solution!
Where is your fridge?
wow you must have to dust a lot because all those little chotskies in the kitchen and layers of greasy fried foods, must really keep you busy
Curious to know what your favorite French wine is! Also cookbooks!

Your French country kitchen is missing one item and it is a statue of Our Lady. Where is she?
Hilarious post script!
Maybe you should just move to France!
Russian sage?
Are you truly French or just have a love for the French culture?
Both:)
My Great Grandmother was French.
@@ParisienneFarmgirl Awesome !!! It's so nice you carry on the heritage to your children ! Merci 😘
Liked the video and info but the camera going in and out of focus made me queasy.
Wow way too much stuff and now it looks just as dark as when you moved in but more clutter! All I can think of is good luck dusting and cleaning,
Too much stuff!
umm who cleans all that ???? your french maid ??
I thought it would all collect a lot of dust. A.
