  • Thank you for your support of my channel! In this video, I use Printers Jack Sublimation Ink (the updgraded formula) for the first time to review its quality. This ink was provided to me at no cost, but the opinions stated are my own. I will also be trying Hiipoo Sublimation Ink in an Epson Ecotank Printer on a video in the near future.
    Some products used in this video (thank you for using my links since I receive a small commission from them to help support my channel):

    What is your printer settings? I just got ET-15000 and I like to use Printers Jack ink. Currently I'm using it in Epson 7720 and I have some settings and I used Epson IJ Printer 07 ICC.

      I use basic settings that came with the machine and haven't downloaded special drivers. I always use presentation matte paper setting and high quality printing.

    What is the difference between the pink and blue backs please?? Thank you! @Making with Marilyn

    • @MakingwithMarilyn
      @MakingwithMarilyn  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I asked Printers Jack the same question. Here is the response I received: "Hi Marilyn,
      The blue and pink back paper have different size, the paper of blue back side has 8.3 x 11.7, 11x17, 13x19 inches. The pink backing has 8.5x11, 11x17, 13x19 inches. The pink back side is the upgrade, which can be stored for a long time without bending or jamming."
      Amber, I noticed earlier that Printers Jack now has the standard 8.5 x 11 in the blue back paper on Amazon.

    if you start with Cosmos ink can you switch to Printers Jack?

    • @MakingwithMarilyn
      @MakingwithMarilyn  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      While they say you should not mix different brands, what I have seen online is that some people will switch brands when their current ink runs out. I guess you could suction out the colors that still have ink in them when the first color is used up. But I have never tried this so really have no first-hand knowledge. If you do it, I would go ahead and run a couple of pages through on plain paper before printing a usable image on sublimation paper.

    You mentioned keeping the bottles after they're empty and refilling with the cheaper ink. I thought it was best to stay with the same brand of Sublimation Ink. I'm just getting started so I am a newbie!

    • @MakingwithMarilyn
      @MakingwithMarilyn  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have heard that as well. The cheaper ink that I have is the same brand. It is just in the older style bottle that requires a syringe. So, I will pour the ink from the old style bottles into these newer bottles that have the Ecotank compatible tops. Thank you so much for watching!!!

    Will printers jack ink work with epson 2803?

    • @MakingwithMarilyn
      @MakingwithMarilyn  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      As long as you have not put regular ink into your epson ecotank printer yet, you can put just about any sublimation ink into the tanks and use it as a sublimation printer. There are a lot of TH-cam videos that show the process. If you have already put regular ink into it, there are videos that show how to deal with the situation before putting sublimation ink into it but I have never done that. Thank you for watching!

      @MakingwithMarilyn yes, a little. I'm currently using Cosmos Ink, but my black is running really low in my ET 2720. I'm going to be printing a lot in the next few days so I ordered this ink. I put some of the ink on paper just by blotting the top of the bottle and I'm going to press to see if it comes out black or brown.

    • @MakingwithMarilyn
      @MakingwithMarilyn  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, that is right. The sublimation print will be dull. But when you add high heat and transfer it to something, it gets bright and pops. Also, sometimes the pre-heated/transferred colors don't even look like the correct color.
