Hi Thanks for the nice and good explaining video well done. 👍
    However I have a question,
My lathe has a one phase motor with starter winding, can I use any VFD using your wiring configuration?
I have ordered this model VFD T13-750W-12-H .
    Looking forward to your reply,
    Yours Frans (Netherlands)

Hi, thank you for this video.
I want to ask some questions if you let me.
the vfd in the video is for 3phase motors, which is connected to 1 phase motor.
You mensioned that, it will compansate.
I'm not sure how its gonna compansate,
    Could you please explain it?
since start coil and main coil winding resistance is different. Currents will be different, it could overheat the start coil.
    Thank you.

The VFD in the video is not used with a 3 phase motor. This is a single phase VFD only. The starter coil cuts off when the main winding is in use.

@Alan Phillips Thank you for your reply. I edit my comment. I understand as it is. So the fan motor used in video, cuts second winding when motor starts. Thank you for explaining.

@@AlanPhillipsAPP so what i understand from your comment is that you don't need specific a single phase in & out VFD for a single phase motor, you can use single phase in and 3 phase out? i am searching for an VFD to control a single phase induction motor 0.55 KW quite a wile now , but i can't really find allot of info on single phase in and out VFD . please let me know. thanks in advance

@@NLDHGRockStaR If you have a single phase motor and you want variable control, you do require a single phase VFD.
