This band makes me feel like a kid again! I close my eyes listening to this song and I’m overwhelmed with memories. Thank you for this, time machines do exist after all.
The problem is that Blue Oyster Cult, Rush, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Uriah Heep, Cream etc were already themselves and had something of their own to contribute from the very beginning. Led Zeppelin I, Disraeli Gears, etc were alreadiy absolutely groundbreaking albums (both sonically and musically). For sure they had their influences (and Led Zeppelin in particular more than "influences") but as I said, from the very beginning all those bands were trying to be themselves and were creating something new out of those influences they had. And for sure they succeded at that, having become each of them a perfectly defined rock style and an inescapable reference. Meanwhile, the only "achievement" of these GVF guys so far is to make a retro-rock that constantly recalls (or more than simply "recalls", since they blatanty emulate or even mock) those 70's bands, but they haven't really wrote a single song "of their own" yet, nor seem to be trying to do it either. They're like seeing one of those absurd "tribute" bands, only difference is the mega-hype, and that they (GVF) are more professional and pretentious. I can understand the under-25 y.o. enthusiasm, but don't get how on earth anyone who grew up during the 70's can buy this (fake) product.
@@katelynrose3024 what are you on, love? I never said it didn't take talent to copy Led Zeppelin. GVF has a metric shit-ton of talent. That's what I like about them. If you lack the ability to hear how they try to sound like Led Zeppelin that's totally on you

Best Rock Band in years- or decades?? Barely 25 years old, 4 albums , many Top songs and their Live performances are as good as it gets!
You MUST be talking about BANDMAID? You certainly can’t say that about the Kiszka brothers?
@@scottpollack1007 dude your everywhere in the comment section. Get a job or something instead of hating on young bands
@@marek9002 I have a career so I don’t need a “job”! I’m not badmouthing “Young Bands”, only GVF! I’ve pointed out a young band from Japan called BANDMAID who I think is INCREDIBLE! GVF’s Lead Singer is AWFUL in my opinion! I don’t consider “Screaming” singing! Sorry, it’s my opinion Dude!
I completely agree. One of the best bands since the 80's. WOW. Freddie Mercury meets Rush. Obsessed!! Can't wait for more!
@@scottpollack1007 What a nimrod.
Damm, I'm back in the 70's. This band is awesome.
This is so epic, an "everything song" like Stairway, and Achilles Last Stand. Hard to believe guys so young can write and play with so much power and majesty, reaching all depths and heights of emotion.
What can I add to all the wonderful comments already made. Absolutely brilliant. I am 70 years old so was brought up on Led Zep etc etc. Was fortunate to have seem them back in the early 70's. These 'youngsters' are doing a wonderful job such talent and what a voice ! 👏
Holy shit!!! where has this band been all my life????? Amazing
He looks like he should have fairy wings.his bro is fukn rockin that guitar.these guys are just like all of the rock bands that started out young back in the days.not fukn copy cats, just inspired/influenced or whatever.just like everybody else in anything.these kids are badass.keep it up! I'm 52 yrs old.frankw.
I'm 52 as well and this band reminds me of the progressive bands I grew up listening too. Rush Triumph Angel ect.

This is much more than just a performance, this reminds me of how beautiful thing being a human can be, the feelings this brings up is what makes life worth living.
I’ve been stuck my whole life listening to bands who’ve already peaked and never had any band whose music and performances I couldn’t have waited to see more of, these guys changed it.
This band makes me feel like a kid again! I close my eyes listening to this song and I’m overwhelmed with memories. Thank you for this, time machines do exist after all.
I doubt they meant to make our old asses feel young again but I'll take happy accidents.
I hear so many influences in their music. TRex, Blue Oyster Cult, Rush, Zeppelin and the list goes on. Amazing and talented young men.
You will hear Rush, Cream and Eagles too... get the new album! The best yet! Bringing rock n roll back!!
Fam, it's 90% a Zeppelin ripoff. I'm not saying that's a bad thing but let's keep it real
@@34JohannesHeinz34 Oh shut up. Nobody appointed you the connoisseur of music. You wish you had talent.
@@katelynrose3024 what are you on, love? I never said it didn't take talent to copy Led Zeppelin. GVF has a metric shit-ton of talent. That's what I like about them. If you lack the ability to hear how they try to sound like Led Zeppelin that's totally on you
Ive just been introduced to this band by a young woman i work with, and thank you for introducing me to them, im 62 years young and its so good to here this type of rock music again, thank fuck this type of music is being resorrected by the likes of this band, awesome, awesome, awesome..........
This will probably always be my favorite song to hear live. Ever.
We all rejected the Bullshit of our time. Just when I thought I'd only have classic rock, real emotions, and real musicians, GVF arrived. There's mad hope now for all of us.
GVF LGBT?
About time
Check out Liliac for more epic current rock music from young family group. You won't be disappointed.
I always come back to this song, this concert and am in awe at the level of musicianship by three young men and an amazing young vocalist. Not playing to track but playing their hearts out. Every time I come away inspired and isn't that what the arts are supposed to bring to our lives? Thank you Greta Van Fleet for what you've done to do exactly that for me and dare I say others too. 👑🎤🎸🎹🥁❤🔥🎶

I got chills and cried. Rock will never die with these guys. Finally some real fucking music!!
These guys are driven by pure love for music!!! Everything else doesn't matter!
I've said it before, and now I'm going to say it once more...everyone that got to witness this concert at Red Rocks are fortunate to have had that privilege. This is one of their most outstanding performances ever so far. Wish I could have witnessed it too.
It was UNREAL!!!
From Germany I cant stop to hear this song again and again. Its my favorite song at Time. Love this Band.
What started as "I won't judge young music because I hated it when my parents judged mine" has ended with me binge watching and loving this band!
I can’t stop listening to this band. I’ve tried to burn myself out on them they are just to fringing awesome. There is still hope for great music long live GVF
These guys are amazingly talented musicians and you can tell they genuinely love what they are doing. So fun to watch and uplifting.
I just heard of these guys the other day and I can't stop listening! This is my music.
They are amazing and addicting.. the new album is the best yet!

They're amazing. So good, so much talent. And bringing the 60's to life.......just incredible sound.
@@melanierichardson9665 what's the new album called?
@@jerodohlsen1526 The Battle at Garden's Gate and it's a masterpiece of progressive rock music. There are 12 tracks each song amazing. When was the last time we had an artist give us an album where EVERY track is just SO good.
Wow. The more I listen the more I dig these guys. True raw talent. To sound this good live is amazing.
Absolutely incredible! May the gods protect their talents and shine on their heavenly souls forever. Long live Greta Van Fleet.

Heat is my favorite. Had it on repeat for 2 hours tonight. I couldn't get enough. This band is on a whole other level. Rocj has been reborn!!!!
