Thanks for showcasing. One day I will defeat him for good. It has been 22 years since I gave up (I mean, retreated). Patiently waiting for it being added to Nintendo Switch Online so I can have my revenge.
This proves Rare hasn’t tested this boss race themselves, because the maneuvers you manage to pull seemed like moves that were not intended to be pulled off, GG’s to you for actually finding a way to beat this
One trick that's usually overlooked is that you can release the accelerator before going over boost pads. It gives a MUCH greater boost of speed. This is told to the player earlier in the game after beating a boss, I forget which one, I think it's after beating the Walrus. One mechanic of the game is that velocity doesn't decrease while the driver is in the air. So by driving over parts of the track in a certain way to get the most airtime possible, it really makes a difference. Drifting also increases your speed, so snaking back and forth like they did at some parts here is actually faster. When I was 9 I beat it without the zipper trick, it took a long time, but I managed to do it. It just takes practice.
You did exceptionally good with Krunch and T.T. With both of those characters, once you got in front of Wizpig from the starting boost, he never again passed you. Oh, and nice throwing in the you lose cutscene at the end!
Excelente jugabilidad🎉🎉🎉. Aunque usted si va a subir un nuevo video de Mario kart 8 Deluxe en tu canal de TH-cam para el día viernes 09 de noviembre de 2024
Maybe Wizpig was right that no one can beat him. Except you beat Wizpig, props to you!
With even Krunch?! Respect, my man!
